London’s New Restaurant Openings - London - The Infatuation

"Fans of Ace Pizza’s Pembury Tavern residency will be excited to hear that they now have their own place. Between the location—just off Victoria Park—and vibey Instagram videos showing hands eating bubbling crusts and throwing back chilli margaritas, Ace Pizza looks primed for summer. As well as pies, there’ll be meatballs in vodka sauce and Dark Arts affogato on the menu." - sinead cranna, rianne shlebak

Ace Pizza Victoria Park - Review - Hackney - London - The Infatuation

"Ace Pizza looks primed for summer. As well as pies, there’ll be meatballs in vodka sauce and Dark Arts affogato on the menu at this spot just off Victoria Park. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Sinéad Cranna

Google
Pizza very tasty and good quality for the price. Great dough and tomato sauce. I had salsiccia, but found the sausage meat used was very fine, also significantly spicier than I imagined but then I should learn to read a menu more closely! Olives were actually the blandest I've ever tasted. Seemed very fresh and good quality but no taste, maybe why they seemingly had need seasoned with pepper. Likewise the dessert was good, but I wouldn't describe it as a Sundae, per the menu. It was enjoyable though, staff are great and restaurant very stylish and pleasantly spaced out tables. A nice addition to 'The Village' and certainly a fair price.

We were honoured to be first ever official customers here at ACE! Despite high expectations we were not disappointed! The pizza was absolutely divine and reasonably priced. Super happy that they offer Gluten Free too, WITH the same size base as a regular (which at other places not always the standard). We also enjoyed a soft serve after which was equally brilliant and a nice generous size. Plus, they let dogs in! 🐶 Overall 11/10, we’d highly recommend trying this new local sensation ❤️

The crispy fried artichokes were delightful (highly recommend) followed by a Funghi pizza, simply delicious. The cocktails were a real treat too, go try the Orange Wine Disco Spritz!! Opening a pizzeria in Victoria Park Village directly beside a long established competitor is a bold decision, yet it is the neighbour that may have reason for concern. This newcomer impresses on many fronts. The interior is intimate yet stylish, with a well planned table layout, an inviting open bar, and a team whose approach is warm, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. The space has such charm that it could easily be imagined as a film set during closed hours. The cocktail list is thoughtfully assembled, with creative twists on classics that will suit a broad range of tastes. The pizza menu is concise and well considered, though the extra £2.50 charge for a gluten free base stung a little. I also found myself wishing for a few more timeless staples as a dependable option other than Margarita and Pepperoni. Those planning to share a 20 inch pizza should note that only one is offered, and the menu gives no indication that standard pizzas can be made larger, though I did not enquire. Booking ahead is wise, and for those nearby, takeaway is also available. I will certainly return, not least to finally try the desserts.

Great food, beer, music, atmosphere, cocktails, sides, service. Everything. They’re not stingy at all with the toppings and you can tell all the ingredients are fresh and high quality. The flavours compliment each other so well, the the crust is light and crispy.

Fantastic pizza, drinks and service from this ace new addition to the neighbourhood....properly tasty dough and toppings, well presented and good value for a restaurant of this quality in London. Highly recommend the crispy fried artichokes and anchovies on toast to start - and the Guancia and Salsiccia pizzas we had for mains. Five Points Lager delicious on draft. Staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

I’ve been itching for this to open and it exceeds expectations! Such a well designed space with soft and cosy colouring and attention to detail, making a fairly big space still feel intimate, personal and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and attentive, adding to the relaxed atmosphere but being incredibly helpful too. The pizza itself is so delicious, the BEST dough, thin, crunchy, chewy, all of the good stuff. Also such a good spicy marg too! I am so glad we have this amazing spot on our doorstep, we will be back, and back, and back…. !!!

Tried Ace Pizza on Lauriston Road and was really impressed. I went for the Double Pep with Cobble Lane pepperoni – the pepperoni was perfectly crispy and packed with flavour. The sesame crust was a really nice touch too, adding an extra layer of texture and taste that made the whole thing feel a bit special. We also had the crack sauce and truffle aioli on the side – both worked really well with the pizza, rich but not overpowering. For dessert, I couldn’t resist the grown-up sundae with fior di latte soft serve, olive oil, sea salt, fennel pollen and honey. Sounds unusual, but it was strangely delicious – creamy, sweet, a little savoury, and really unique. Overall, a great spot with inventive touches on both the pizza and dessert. Definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby!
