As a newcomer to the area i really appreciated how friendly the owner was. He's just one of those people that you can instantly tell honestly cares about people. I needed to pick up some kratom and kava to help me with some recent back pain and consequent insomnia and his prices and selection were awesome. I don't do any THC or cannabis type products but his other herbals are on point.

Went there hoping to find an exact item, wasn't given a second to be disappointed before he alleviated not having that exact item by leading me to the next best thing. It may not be what I was intending to get, but with his expertise n individual customer attention I got accidental perfection for my bubbler I wasn't even looking to enhance. Thank you, man. You're definitely my only stop now

Cool shop, they have a great selection on ejuices for vapes, prices are sky high though. I was charged $10 for a spare tank that you can get on ebay for $1 each. Fumi juices are $8 each although most places sell them for $4-5. The location in Altadena makes it the bets smoke shop in the vicinity, so the prices I guess just make up for the convenience. The guy who runs the shop is super cool and knowledgeable.

He didn’t have one of the flavors I wanted but offered to get the flavors I wanted in stock & wrote them down 👍🏼 Showed me the Apple on Top bowl and how it worked. I was impressed! It may seem pricey but his store actually sells it for less than it cost on Amazon! The shop had the best prices I've seen for Al fahker, Starbuzz, & Fumari. Definitely will be coming back!! My favorite local business. I feel like I'm visiting friends. Jake is good people. I love going here! My heart is BROKEN. I saw a clip of it burning on Instagram. Altadena burned down. I hope Jake can rebuild. I know the community will come together again but for now... devastated.

This is BY FAR the BEST smoke shop in L.A! Not only does Jacob go out of his way to make sure you understand what is a good product for you, and not the most$$$ for you. He makes sure you know how to use said products. Veronica is also fanfriggintastic. I make sure anytime I am anywhere near Altadena I pass by and give them a little biz. If you live in Altadena or anywhere near there. Tell him Divine sent you! I get nothing for that other than he knows how much I support him!

I am always getting pre rolls and Jake the owner, turned me onto these... I absolutely live them! Way better than the paper! It claims to be slow burning. Well let me confirm, it is! And it burns evenly! If you ever get pre-rolls and always have a run... ugh. Never again do you have to deal with that with these dog walkers! That's what I call them because they are perfect size for a quick puff puff when you need to be incognito! ‍ hey man, some of us have children, and it's always safer to take a little time out, walking the dog... aka puff puff, then having a melt down! But hey that's just me... aka (well my sister) lol lol

I've purchased many vape and tobacco related products here and was basically ran out of the shop by the owner. I don't understand why he got so mad that I'd bring something defective that I recently purchased from him. I and other friends and family won't step foot in here again. Down the street has a friendly and courteous smoke shop that I'll go to next time. I'm still in shock how unprofessional and rude he was. In response to you Jake. Our buddy totally agrees that it was definitely not cool the way you called me multiple cuss words and at no point did he see you wink or act as if you were kidding. I never said it was unused and you told our buddy if he didn't come in with me you would have told me to eat shit. He says he won't go back in either and that's sad because he respects you and spoke highly of you and the shop. I've spent hundreds of dollars at your place over eight years and you've never joked with me. We walked out and you never came out saying it was a joke. I will not be back.

Bought a torch for this location quite sometime ago and ended up not working that same day. Came back the next day and the lady working at the counter was extremely rude and tried to say they don't even carry the product trying to insinuate that I was lying even though it was still price tagged. That one encounter eas enough to turn me away forever.

Alright I've been to COUNTLESS vape shops... most are mediocre at best, but this place?! I met the owner, Jake, and he has gone above and beyond for me. He special ordered my RPM80, asked me what flavor profile of juice I like, and gave me a GREAT PRICE..?! I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone because so many vape shops don't put forth any effort and have shitty attitudes. But this dude is a real one, and the shop has the coolest vibe. What Jake doesn't know is I'm going through a super hard time right now. We probably all are, to some extent, thanks to covid19 and quarantine. I've been at my lowest ever, and trying to quit many unhealthy habits (like smoking Marlboro Reds). The fact he went above and beyond with a stranger like me, kept me up to date on the order, and delivered me the best price possible speaks VOLUMES of his business. He treated me like family. Period. That's why this shop has become my go to. Thanks Jake for being simply the best!!!

The owner Jake makes you feel like a valued customer no matter what you're shopping for. He always has good Kratom in stock, and he will always go above and beyond to make sure you're happy walking out the door. This is what you want in a smoke shop. The owner is down to earth and will take the time to answer any questions you have. If their is something your looking for and they don't have just talk to them and they will usually have it in a week or so. The vibe at Ace Smoke Shop is friendly. From the time you walk in they are courteous and make you feel like family. I highly recommend checking this place out and make it your one stop shop for all your needs.

Cool shop , really nice glass selection. If you really like to smoke I would check it out , the have different styles and designs In glass. The people who work here are helpful and always willing to work with me on a deal,They always make me and my buddies feel super comfortable. The only down fall I would say is there can be a long line to come in sometimes because it's pretty small. I'd definitely come back some time though.

This place is ridiculous. They want to charge 29.99 for a box of 4 Juul pods. When I informed them that they're half price online, thinking they may not know, the response was "well you can always order them online." Sure thing, I will, and I'll take my cash with me too. This type of shit attitude, and price gouging is why shops like this are closing down left and right.

They sell old expired products. I asked for a refund for my dried up tobacco. The cashier didn't care to give me a refund or a new package. Sucks that they don't do refunds for their mistakes.

So I was driving around trying to find a smoke shop open and unfortunately due to this virus everything was closed.. Then I came across this shop on Yelp so I gave them a call to see if they sold any torches.. And this rude ass women answers the phone. Now mind you I'm a nice guy so I was thrown back by her attitude. She seemed bothered that I called to ask questions on their products. So against my better judgment I still decided to drive all the way from Montebello to go and see what they had in store. The same rude lady was there hanging out with her boyfriend and again she seemed bothered that I was interrupting her date. She claimed their torches were empty and was pushing for me to buy your butane.. so I decided to get the butane as well. After I bought everything I went to my car to fill it up with butane to test it out. As soon as I turned it on it shot out a huge flame and clearly it was over filled with butane. I went back in to let her know that her torch was not up to standards and she tried to "educate" me on torches. As if I were some idiot, she said "well it's already is filled and you overfilled it". After claiming they were empty! I traded it with another one that is supposedly one of the "best" but it throws the smallest flames! I called and asked for my money back because I was tired of driving around and she had the audacity to say that their are no refunds!? I can't believe after all that I put up with? If she did her job correctly, knew the product and wasn't rude we wouldn't be in this situation right now. This should be taken care of and corrected.

I love this place. Not only convenient, but super helpful. I've been going here for years. Met Jake today and the product I wanted was sold out so he took my # and will call me asap when back in stock. If they're out of something or have questions about things, he took the time to explain it to me. I'm all about local owned business and customer service, this is the place to go for both. They also have a huge inventory.

I really like this smoke shop. I have converted my friends to the vape life and take them here to get the best vapes. They have this great one that has a magnet that screws on to the cartridge tip and keeps it connected to the vape. Not sure of the name but describe it to them and they'll show you. I highly recommend it...you'll get the best hits and you can lock it.

Shop was open on a holiday when other shops in the area were closed, staff was nice. Big selection of cigarillos. Cool looking building.

Super friendly service. The guy there really went out of his way to find the right vale part for me. Then recommended a delicious new flavor. They had the rolling papers and tips that I like. Their glass selection was also on point. I am on my way there right now so I can actually spend the time and get the right piece. Hooray for small shops that really have what we need.

Called to check if a certain product was in stock. The product had just been released and was difficult to get without buying online. The owner called the manufacturer--which was in Las Vegas I believe--and the item arrived the next day. That's faster than Amazon Prime. Communication was excellently done via text which I don't mind one bit. There was a minor problem with the sales charge in which I had to make another trip back to the shop but the service was so good I didn't mind that either.

I've been coming here for the better part of 6 years because most smoke shops are scuffed in some manner, either in the service, price, or selection. Ace has treated me well in all departments. The owner is always ready to address issues and has been pretty up to date on new trends in vaping and weeding with devices, both of which are hard to come by in LA county imo. Going back soon since they just became a puffco retailer.

Apparently they have a strict no exchange no refund policy here. Which means when he sold me the wrong fucking grommet, I can't come in and trade it in for the right one. I'd have to buy the right one, if they had it, which they don't. Pro Tip, you want some free stuff from him, send your sister or your girlfriend in, they will walk out with loot.
