Achatz Handmade Pie Co

For many years I have been a very good customer of Achatz in Troy, especially the French Silk. The last two times I have bought the Silk pie and it is not the same great crust, now it is like a hard cookie and slides around the dish it is served on. It will be awhile before returning to purchase any pies. Not worth the price to see if a crust correction is made.

Had a pie delivered for my bithday/christmas. Ordered a french silk they delivered caramel apple. One of my guests found a small piece of plastic in his slice.

Absolutely the most delicious pies!! Tried the lemon meringue, and Dutch apple. Ordered thru DoorDash. Will definitely order other items. If my review was helpful please like and follow me please!

Achatz was recommended to me a year ago and I just never found my way there….until a few weeks ago! Woooooweeeee!!! I’m not even a big pie person, but these are fabulous! Carrot cake was amazing too!! Also highly recommend strawberry rhubarb and Michigan Berry. Yes…I tried a few. Don’t judge 😇

I ordered a pie online for pickup. Quick and easy pickup and the pie was delicious.

I walked in waiting for my appointment at the secretary of state and looked at the blueberry pie. It was amazing. The Michigan blueberry pie is to die for. If you're waiting around or need a pie, this is the place to buy it.

The store is bright and clean. Many delicious options available. Staff is nice. Can't wait to taste my strawberry rhubarb pie!

Talk about hands down some of the best pies in Michigan. Whenever I came in, I felt like a kid in a candy store. There were two girls today that helped me. The girls name on the receipt was Katrina and she was extremely helpful, and took time helping me. The other girl in the beanie was also extremely nice, offered me a sample and made me feel extremely welcomed. I took the suggestion from both of the two and got to try the cherry crumb slice, and the French silk!
