Achilles Bermuda

Enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Achilles. Always a beautiful atmosphere and good service. Second time dining here so we wanted to try different items from the menu. Cocktails are always nice here. We enjoyed the mussels and broccolini starters, but the bread that came with the broccolini was too hard. Funny, because if we didn't have the mussels broth to dip them in, they would have been almost inedible. Also there were a total of nine mussels in the bowl, which seemed like a very small portion (even as an appetizer). We know mussels are not expensive to buy wholesale, so they could have increased the quantity.) Korean noodles didn't have much flavor (if you are used to eating spicy Asian food, this won't hit the spot). The tofu was nicely prepared. The Chicken souvlaki was my favorite part of the meal. The chicken was seasoned perfectly, and the overall dish was balanced (even though the Hummus was bland). We would dine again in the future, but now that we know what we know we like and don't like, the menu seems a little more limited to us.

The food is as good as the view, the drinks were fantastic, the service was great and there are no bad choices on the menu. The OMG sushi roll with the miso mustard was unbelievably good, the rum punch will put you in good spirits, the banh mi was a fantastic new take on a classic Vietnamese sandwich but the desserts are in a league of their own. Thank you to Matt for getting us out to such an incredible hidden gem. Tourists and locals would be crazy not to come here. Get a reservation before they fill up because with food this good and a view that breath taking, it won't take long for this place to take over St Georges.

Fantastic find! This place was the best restaurant we visited on the island. So much so that we had to go back on our last night there. From the front of house to the chef, they were very nice. Accommodated our allergies - very efficient and they were happy to do it too. The desserts were also delish. Loved their take on the Japanese cheesecake.

Wonderful lunch at Achilles. The view is amazing! Our waiter was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. The Japanese “cotton” cheesecake for dessert was so good!

Excellent restaurant in an amazing location. The food is truly top notch, the view of the water, beaches and fort is beautiful, and the people are all friendly. Even though we were staying on the other side of the island, we came back here just to eat here again (the local beach is also great). One of the best restaurants I have been to generally (not just Bermuda), and I travel a lot. We had calamari, fish sandwich, burger, salads, fish dinner, dessert, sushi, etc (over three visits). Lisa, our waitress, was excellent and made the experience special. And no I don't work here or know the owners, just really great place 😀

I have been visiting this spot since 1990. This new establishment has beautiful views and the best dining in St. Georges. It is an air-conditioned get-away, with Manager Matt and crew running a tight ship. It is not to be missed. Update. Since I have been reviewing on Google for decades and have had over a million views, I wanted to see who in their right mind would give this amazing place a one-star review. I see that the one-star reviews are single-location reviews of the restaurant, with no other reviews. It seems someone unstable has a lot of free time and a vendetta. I wouldn't put much objectivity in the one-star review. Do yourself a favor and try this gem.

We were lucky enough to eat here our last night in Bermuda. They just opened a few days ago so expected some kinks in service, but we were blown away. The ambiance, service, and food were all fantastic. The views of the sunset are not to be missed. This was our best meal while staying in Bermuda! Thank you for an excellent experience!

The food and staff were absolutely amazing! The chef created the perfect menu for our special night. The food was spot on and was absolutely delicious! We can’t wait to go back on our next trip to Bermuda!
