I came here with my mother and daughter while recently in San Diego. My mother had previously come and liked their coffee and oatmeal. This time she tried to get the same oatmeal, but it was problematic.
The oatmeal is supposed to come with blueberries and strawberries, however they were out of strawberries. They refused to substitute more blueberries for the missing strawberries, and also did not offer a discount. She tried to buy more blueberries but they said they could only give more nuts, which my mom didn't want because the oatmeal was also very dry like it was old. She asked for more brown sugar because she couldn't taste any like the first time she ordered it, and again they refused. Most of it went in the trash, and my mother is a very frugal person who hates wasting even free food, to give you an idea of how dissatisfied she was.
I got a scramble, which actually turned out to be hash with very little discernable egg. Very disappointing as all I really wanted was egg, and instead I received a wet-bottomed cardboard container of salty, flavorless potatoes, a bunch of flavorless salty cheese, few veggies, and almost invisible meat and eggs (I paid $1 extra for the mea scraps, btw). I asked for salsa, which they were hesitant to give, and that didn't help much. The toast was hard and flavorless, and they didn't give any jelly/jam until I asked. The girl was at first going to actually charge me for the tiny container but changed her mind. Most of my food went into the trash as well.
Please change your description to hash, because this is NOT a scramble, guys. Also, you can't be this stingy with condiments when the food is bland and/or missing ingredients AND you're charging *these* prices... Get it together.
My daughter got some type of breakfast burrito which she said was too salty and had no flavor, even with the salsa. She ate all of hers but said it wasn't worth it, and I agree.
You're better off going to a chain like First W. or even S. Bucks iykwim. Tourists, avoid.
