We had the 3 course meal with a different wine for every course. The flavours of the food were amazing and the presentation looked beautiful. Staff was super friendly and it was a real pleasure to eat here.

We ordered the four course menu with wine. Everything was so good and the wine pairings were perfect. The staff was very friendly, and the terrace seating was perfect!

Went for my wife’s birthday and we had a really amazing night and great experience! We had the 3 course menu paired with excellent wine! Good atmosphere, relaxed and where you have loud laughs bit also enjoy extinguished food & drinks!

I booked a table at Acht for dinner on February 4, 2025, to celebrate my wedding anniversary. When making the reservation, I had specifically requested a surprise dessert with a personalized message and confirmed that I would cover the cost. However, I never received any response regarding this request. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we discovered that they do not accommodate any kind of celebration—no cakes, no candles, nothing. When we inquired about this, Julian (waiter) informed us that they don’t receive such notifications. How is that an excuse for such a high end restaurant. Since the pre-arranged request was not possible, we asked if they could at least write a small message on the dessert we ordered. Instead of offering a simple solution, the reservation manager condescendingly told us that my wife is vegetarian and wouldn’t be able to eat it. Firstly, this was irrelevant—if dietary preferences weren’t acknowledged in the message request, that is inexcusable. Then, to make matters worse, she claimed that it was not possible to write on crème brûlée. Seriously? If a high-end restaurant can’t find a way to accommodate a simple request like this, it speaks volumes about their lack of effort and service. The service throughout the evening was poor and inconsistent. Our waitress, Anna, was impolite, lacked warmth, and even snatched the menus from us. The only decent staff member we encountered was Julian, who was at least professional in his approach. While the food was well-plated, it was only average tasting. The overall experience was completely overshadowed by the lack of hospitality. We drove all the way from Berlin for this dinner, expecting a memorable evening, only to leave feeling disappointed, frustrated, and without the dessert. I would give it a Null not an Acht! One of the top 5 places we have visited this year! Top restaurant in the heart of Düsseldorf, for wine lovers and for food enthusiasts this is the right place to visit… We had the 4 courses dinner including grilled octopus, cheese filled pastries, lovely haddock fillet and a superb dessert! Staff is very friendly, the kitchen is wide open so you can see the chef in action! 5 star for this restaurant no doubt about it!

It was an excellent dinner. We had the 3 Course menu - everything was well-made and well-thought of. The wine pairing also did not disappoint. Pace of the servings were excellent and the staffs were very friendly. Very recommended!

Food: not worth the price you’re paying. Unambitious cuisine with a lack of creativity. It’s edible, but not delicious. All the sauces and emulsions were oversalted. The pumpkin panna cotta was covered in unnecessary spices. Fish soup was boiling and overcooked. The fish in it had no taste. The cognac sauce of the rabbit was also super salty. Caramel ice served for dessert had already half melted. You can get the same cuisine at a Brauhaus for 1/3 of the price. The chef clearly lacks of taste, ambition, and fantasy. The dishes look good, but taste mediocre. I did not opt for the 4 course menu because the indicated wine pairing looked strange. But they do have great wines that you can just order on your own. Service: they do not accompany you to your table. Overall good service and friendly staff, but sometimes very lengthy to react. Atmosphere: it was too loud for a restaurant of this level. Decoration lacks of taste (you’d better have no christmas decoration than have their xmas decoration). Our table was unstable. The toilets were not entirely clean.

One of the best restaurants I’ve experienced! Understated food and service elegance. Servers wear white gloves while place setting and serving your food, as many restaurants I’ve been to, I’ve never seen this before. I had the panna cotta, chicken breast and chocolate cake and of course wine. A very enjoyable meal. Communal table available, in and outside back patio dining.

Food is fair. It was disappointing, nothing special. We had the 4 course menu and the wine pairing. The wine selections were also subpar. The pours were far too generous as well, it was a large glass of wine with each course. I would not return.

Great restaurant in a quiet residential part of the city. We were there on a weeknight with a reservation and were surprised to see the place packed the whole night. You definitely need to make one. The starters they brought out were good. Loved the tomato soup and the bread. We started with the duck liver ice cream cone starter. It was super unique and interesting. Loved the combination of savory and sweet flavors, but it was more savory and was a really great starter. We both got the lamb dish. This was to die for. The lamb was cooked perfectly and I loved the goat cheese and vegetables. And for dessert we had the strawberry and tonka bean meringue type thing. Never had tonka bean before so that was a first. Really interesting dessert. They had a nice selection of wines, not too many options for other drinks. The service was really warm and welcoming. Loved everyone who worked there and also loved the open kitchen.
