The 16 Best Restaurants In Venice, Italy 2024

"When you finish your tour of Basilica San Marco, you’re only one bridge away from this spot, where you should start with the signature small anchovy-topped pizza, anchovy-topped hard-boiled eggs, and a refreshing spritz. When the weather is nice, there are outside tables in the Campo SS. Filippo e Giacomo, but the inside space that’s lined with empty wine bottles makes for a great place to warm up in the winter with a glass of Valpolicella." - gillian mcguire

Visited in April 2024. This restaurant became our favourite for 4 days while we were staying in Venice. There is a big list of pizzas in the menu but in fact I loved not only their pizzas but all the other dishes which I tasted from the menu. The thing which I did love here was the staff. They are friendly, helpful and try to meet all the needs /wishes of their guests. A few times we asked to add/exclude some ingredients and every time they did it. Lunches and dinners in the restaurant made our visit really warm. Thank you 🤗

We had such a delicious lunch here that we came back for dinner. Wait staff were kind and attentive, and prices reasonable, especially for the quality of the food. The owner also owns a Michelin rated restaurant next door and the dishes show the benefit of that association. Would definitely recommend.

Went for dinner here after our Gondola tour. It was lovely. We ordered a pizza and a couple of cicchetti. Friendly staff and honest prices.

Ignore the bad reviews! The service here is brilliant and the pizza is unbelievable. You can also do a custom order and add what you want to the pizza and the wine was delicious. Certainly worth a visit and a get the pizza!

Fantastic pizza, lovely wine in a great location. The staff were friendly and we got good service. This restaurant was recommended by the guide on our walking tour but we were apprehensive because of some poor reviews. It was great though and we might come back before we leave Venice.

My favorite dish here is peperonata. Pizzas also looked not like the most usual ones, but we didn’t try them. Veal liver dish was nothing special.

We stumbled in here having just arrived in Venice, a bit bedraggled from the rain, and were greeted with warm, friendly service and fantastic pizza and wine. Plenty of veggie options, lovely tiramisu, and reasonably priced.

I have no idea why this place received bad reviews. This is the best pizza we had in all of Italy (we visited 10 different cities/villages on our trip for meals). I can’t speak about other dishes, but the pizza, salad and wine were great. The waiters were super friendly and attentive. Ignore the negative posts. Make sure to stop here when you’re in Venice. So good, we ate here twice.
