Acme Fresh Market

I've never cared for beef brisket. Until now. They have fresh brisket burger patties and after talking to the gentleman working there, I decided to give them a try. Went home and put 2 in my air fryer at 400° for 12 minutes no flip and they are the best burgers I've ever made. Juicy and delicious.

I am absolutely done with this store. These are blackberries that I brought this morning, 5/22/24 that are full of mold. When I checked them at the store I couldn't see down into them due to how they were positioned in the container. I didn't see any mold on the outside so i thought good to go, I've never experienced mold on the inside of a blackberry that I couldn't see from the outside....it wasn't until I got home and started cutting them open that I saw the mold. Both packages, absolutely full of mold. And this isn't the first time something like this has happened. Packages of strawberries that look good on top but are rotten in the middle. Same with blueberries. Last summer I got 6 rotten watermelons in a row. Looked good on the outside, completely rotten on the inside. There is rotting fruit and vegetables sitting out for sale with the fresh fruit and vegetables. I've gotten rotten chicken thighs, expired milk, expired almond milk and peanut butter 8 months past the expiration date. I dont know what happened to this store in the last 2 years but whatever the change was, it was the wrong change. To me, it seems they want a higher quality store over higher quality products, which is gonna be counter productive when you drive all your customers away due to trying to sell us low quality and expired products.

I love love love acme. We don't have one here in Hartville where I live, sadly. But fingers crossed we can finally get one soon. The best bakery around. They make every cake for any event, holiday. Or celebration.

Been shopping here since the place was a supermarket, had a pet store inside, and I went to school across the street! Same great service and quality products. Great atmosphere and always clean. Sometimes kinda pricey, but that's franchise issues, not to be blamed on the store itself.

I usually love Acme and have overall a good shopping experience there. Even with higher prices than others I shop there for the convenience and easy check out experience. Today I arrived at about 8:30 pm and went to check out and I was a couple minutes past 9 pm and I had to use self check out for it was the only option. They do not have anyone to assist you after 9 pm. Even though the self check out says less than 25 items it’s your only option last 9. That doesn’t work well for a grocery store with a filled cart of 50 total items at $215 . It was a horrible process and took forever. Very disappointed and hope they bring back cashiers until the store closes.

i go here all the time some employees are very friendly and helpful while others not so much there are numerous women who like to roll their eyes at me and my kids when i go in to do my bigger grocery shopping each month

The meat department here is disgusting. You can smell rotten meat walking into this section. More than half of the meat is already brown. Beyond gross. I don't shop here anymore but had to run for a couple things and definitely will not be back. This used to be my favorite location. Barf!!

By far the best grocery store around. Managers specials are amazing.

I wanted so much to love this location, I'm sure I'll give them another chance... everyone has off days and it is holiday day season + pandemic... for now I'll sum up my experience with : great gluten-free cookie selection, rude staff.

This store is run by high school children. That is fine, but there is a high turnover rate, which tells me they don't pay their employees well or management stinks. CHECK your produce carefully or you will waste a lot of money. Their produce manager could use some refreshers on how to run a produce department. I bet I could walk in right this moment and find a moldy tomato. This has been ongoing for years.

I will NEVER use this store or their delivery service again, too often the order is wrong in items or they "forget" to scan the Acme card to allow your discount on sale prices. I placed an order for delivery last Thursday and much to my surprise this morning I looked at the sealed package of Hormel Pepperoni only to find it brown, gray and moldy looking. They ALWAYS apologize and offer to refund your purchase, but that's NOT the point, people order because the want the proper FRESH food NOT a refund. They have the highest delivery rates and continue to fail with my orders, at this point it simply isn't worth giving them a dime of my money. Be careful folks, double check your receipts AND food. If the prices don't kill you the food just might! If I could give zero stars, I would!

I miss the way Acme hamburger used to taste now it is gross. The 93% lean hamburger tastes like old Marc's hamburger and sour in taste i am done with being manipulated by these stores. I dont want to buy meat on sale anymore. This hamburger is so expensive and its bad on sale. I will go to Aldis because they dont hike the prices up so its spoiled when you buy it and it tastes normal. They also make you feel like your cheating them when you return the meat and you wont be compensated for gas. I am done!

In Akron for thanksgiving with my parents and unfortunately I realized I had left all of the groceries I had purchased back home (4.5 hours away) sitting on my counter. So back to the store I headed. For the day before a major holiday, the crowds weren't too bad. They didn't have quite the selection I would as hoping for but in a pinch, it was fine. People were in relatively good moods which is surprising given the chaos of pre-holiday shopping. Not bad for a local grocery.

Thank you for putting Purell wipes by the meat section and I've also noticed that the produce is much better lately. Very happy!

Best grocery store with fantastic service!

Convenient---and they have made vast improvements in adding organic options. Sign up for their emails to receive the notifications on weekend sales(which they do often and are great deals), occasionally they even email coupons for free items. There is a large liquor department and it is right at the front so it easy to swing by quickly on your way to a party.

Do not use their delivery service. They did not deliver my groceries & will not take the charge off my card for 3 days.

This grocery store is amazing! They have lots of things to choose from. The staff here is amazing too. My sister and my sisters boyfriend actually work there. They lok it and make decent money. The staff is very playful and welcoming. There food is always fresh and ready to eat days after purchasing! They aren't expensive at all either. And it is a very goo experience shopping here. You can also get better deals on on sale items if you have an acme card. If you don't just ask and they'll give you one! Literally like handing you money! Acme is good for all of your shopping needs. If there was higher than five stars it would have earned it
