This store recently replaced their store-roasted turkey breast lunch meat with primo taglio "carver" turkey. What a disappointment. This new turkey tastes like any other processed turkey product garbage. Bring back the store-roasted turkey breast. It is soooo much better. Update: While I appreciate your response, no, there is nothing further to be discussed about your store replacing a good product with an inferior product. Bring back the store-roasted turkey breast. The new stuff is garbage. Period.

I had an awful experience at the deli. I arrived before the 8pm closing time and was informed by the worker, Glorius, that he closed it an hour early. It is ridiculous that a company can have a set time for a service to close, yet not abide by it.

Great Meats, especially 4/$20 meat mix and match on-going special ; for a couple that are empty nesters; the packages are more than plenty; seafood & produce; check the dates on pre-sliced deli meats ; I dont think that they rotate very much, I love this store but i got green ham! That os ONLY reason for not voting 5 ⭐️⭐️😬⭐️⭐️

Dom in the bakery always pulls through for my family! At least 3 times a year we are going to him for our 3 daughter’s birthday cupcakes and he never disappoints! Our girls are all about the sparkles and shine and he truly shows this for them in the cupcakes! This is the second time we have ordered the unicorn colored design with unicorn rings! We ALWAYS get whip cream icing because who wouldn’t! This time, I was a total slacker and he managed to get all 48 cupcakes done with a same day order and we picked them up by 5pm! He truly is the best! Crosby R.

The staff is very rude and unprofessional. Stopped in for lunch like I've done for a few years now but today was the worst experience ever . I felt unwelcome and embarrassed by the deli workers and the manager. All over a piece of chicken

I am not the type to write reviews but I have to shout this specific employee out. A few weeks back, my boyfriend and I were shopping and I was looking for my favorite feta (the Mediterranean one to be exact). I stood there for a few looking for it but couldn’t find it. A woman next to me asked me if I needed any help, and I let her know that I was looking for the Mediterranean feta, and have been for weeks, but it seems like it has been out of stock. She let me know they stopped ordering the specific flavor as nobody really purchases it, and let me know she is the person who puts in the orders so she can purchase it and to check back in a few weeks. I was appreciate but also didn’t expect her to purchase it on behalf of little ol me so I went about my day. Today, I went by that area just to check and it was there! It is something so small like this that makes customers feel heard. Even though I fully didn’t expect this employee to do it (because I’m just one person) she was able to get the feta back in stock. It’s less about the feta and more about the true care she gives to her job. I wish I got her name but if you are reading, thank you for your kindness and you deserve a raise! :) xo

John C at the front desk went to the freezer to get me ice cream bars when the grey haired lady at the desk gave me a hard time and was very Rude !!! So Thank you John C for helping me and being so Nice.the ice cream bars were in the back freezer so john brang them out for me. And the lady at the dest refused to go check the freezer and told me the is no person to go check so when she left the dest i went to ask john to help me and he did with no problem

I ordered a cake for my daughter’s birthday and Dominic knocked it out the park!!! He did such a fabulous job!!! Everyone at the party said the cake tasted amazing and were so shocked to hear it came from Acme!! Thank you Dominic for your hard work!

2021 update: this store still sucks. The cashier was friendly and there wasn't a line, I'll give it that. Otherwise, expect: -expired items galore, check the dates of EVERYTHING -coupons that you apply to your account via mobile app will not show up at the register upon checkout nor will they be applied -"one way" aisles that are 2-way chaos -sky high prices on many items: for example babybel cheese will cost $3-4 at Trader Joe's. Here? $10! -"sale" prices that aren't rung up as such upon rendering payment. Check your receipt or just expect to pay regular price on everything. Otherwise the process of getting a manager takes forever and they don't even care to rectify the issue. -there's a little clearance rack back by the bathrooms, so that's cool today we did a huge order of nearly $300. We were supposed to get a solid $20 in savings that didn't materialize on the receipt... In this pandemic and over a holiday weekend, we frankly didn't bother to go back into the store with our (further) rotting perishable foodstuffs in the vehicle to undertake a consumer justice mission more aggravating and complex than the treaty of Versailles, the Potsdam agreement, camp David accords, etc etc. There's Aldi in town, shop rite in town, and Lidl is close by. Hell, try your luck at a super Walmart somewhere. Step into this Acme if you're willing to accept being screwed over for "convenience." I'll never accept it, but If I return I understand it will be at a cost of years off my life and potential food poisoning.

This is a local store for me and it's always clean and the staff is friendly. I tend to treat it as a convenience type store because there are much better markets for selection and price to shop at. Many of the items here are overpriced and the produce is fair at best. However, some of their sales are really good so if you're a grocery shopping geek like me that will go to multiple places to get everything I need and just stop here to grab the sale items you can make out pretty well.

Got here at 9:50pm 4/8/23 to get a new Easter ham because my ham I had gotten got burnt to hell, yeah my fault. Go walking up at 9:51 and just as I got to The door an employee watched me walk up and locked the door while few feet am away and said closed. 1 item. 5 minutes to get and pay and shafted. HAPPY EASTER!!!

Yesterday was my last visit to this Acme. I usually stop on my way home to grab dinner, around 5:30pm. For the 4th time in a row I had to wait at least 15 minutes for help at the fish counter, there is never anyone in sight to help you. I rang the bell by the door, no response. I finally headed up to customer service only to have to wait 10 minutes for 2 people at the counter, one helping a woman purchase lottery tickets and the other woman (curly gray hair) not acknowledging that I am standing there. Poor customer service at probably the busiest time of the day. It's a shame because it is a really nice store but there are certainly other options in the area.

Meat is disgusting and poor quality. Even after cooked it tastes gross. I would not be surprised if they repackage old meat with new labels. Produce is also old. Only stuff that is good here is the packaged goods even though they are over priced.

Went to this ACME on 2/15/19 since I was in the area... Excellent service as always with ACME.... It was easy to go to this ACME since I was right in the area....

Came to this store to get some snacks since I'm visiting the area for a few days and was actually quite satisfied. There were many things on sale and prices were super cheap. I found the store to be super clean and the clerks quite friendly.

Lines are always hella long ..theres only like 3 registers opened all the time ..always some wierd a$$$ people hanging outside ..

Acme is overpriced but this store at least looks clean and the selection of items is decent. It's ok to get a few items quickly when I don't feel like driving to Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, or Wegmans. I was there around 6:40 on 4-2-1. I checked out with a young female cashier who was rude. I won't post her name. I said hello. She barely acknowledged me. I asked for paper bags and she had an attitude. It was just way too much trouble for her I guess. Then she asked if I played the monopoly game because she had to, then initialed the receipt and shoved it at me. No thank you or any words uttered. I understand it sucks to work in a food store during a pandemic but try to at least be slightly friendly or a little polite and make the most of it. It made me not want to go back to Acme.

This is a great ACME. The parking lot is dangerous, but that is about the only thing wrong with this place. I am giving this store the highest rating for any ACME. Unfortunately, this kind of supermarket is smack dab in the middle of their competitors, falling between Aldi and Wegmans in food, quality, cleanliness and service. This is one of the best "middle market" stores out there. It gets the job done as a place to stop on the way home from the office. It does NOT have buffet style self service food stations if you plan on grabbing lunch here.

I usually go later in the evening. The employees are always cool, shelves full, good prices. Only problem is I can never find a cart or a basket!

One of the best ACME I've ever been to. There are also two RedBox, tons of gift cards that you can purchased and also a coinstar on top the grocery store that fits your everyday need. The place is clean and the staff is nice. What I do like best about this place is that there are barely an lines so the wait for the checkout is not really wait. One downside is that the ShopRite about two miles down is a lot cheaper overall if cheap is the #1 thing you are looking for.

I came in here because I run a restaurant down in south jersey and I was in the area for an event and I know I needed to pick up a few loose things to make sure I had them to start my day off at the shop tomorrow and I definitely can't go to restaurant depot at 9:05 at night. So I first was greeted by Carl, and let me tell you what a nice and happy soul he was and just by talking with him for the couple minutes I did; it really changed my experience. I also talked to Teresea at the self check out line before I left as well and she was kind as can be and very helpful. Now I know many people don't read reviews for grocery stores but this is so corporate acme sees this and takes care of all their employees especially these two people!! Next time I'm in the area and need something quick I will definitely be stopping by!!!

This review is specifically for Joanne in the floral department: an absolute gem! Joanne brought the spirit of my wedding to technicolor life with a creative bouquet, matching boutonnieres and corsages, and neon pink petals for my flower girl. Such a fuss free transaction and warm conversation to boot. Thank you Joanne!

This is one of the nicest ACMEs I have ever been in. I have one much closer to my house but I pass this one on my way home from work and I would rather go here than the other one. It is much cleaner and more organized. It has a few vegetarian items that I haven't been able to find anywhere else but here (soyrizo). The cashiers I have dealt with have been really friendly and the store, overall, is very clean.

This is the closest grocery to where we are staying. It seems to have just about everything we need, but not quite. The store is clean, well stocked, and friendly customer service (my experience). I use this store for the staples, or if I need to pick up 1 or 2 items.

Bordentown Acme- two times in the last month I have bought expired items. Not knowing until I got home. Pilbury rolls were from June 2018 and Motts strawberry kiwi applesauce from April 2018. That was alarming and made me question what else is old and never checked. I rather drive 25 minutes to Wegmans. When I return these items, no one seems alarmed by the expiration date or seems to do anything about it.

We shop at acme pretty frequently. Today, we accidentally left a bag with a good amount of food in it at the self check out (pasta salad, cheese, etc). We noticed the moment we got home and immediately returned to the store. I also tried calling customer service twice to let them know and it just rang, and rang, and rang with no answer. Well, when we got back - they were already reshelving our items! My husband had to go around the store and track everything down. Are you freaking kidding me? You're telling me that they don't even wait for people to return before putting PURCHASED items back to sell AGAIN? There's seriously not a location where they put these items to give the buyers a chance to return?! It was honestly a span of 20 minutes. That's ridiculous.

This is one of the cleanest Acmes around. THey have a very nice Deli ans seafood dept with all types of fresh foods, sandwiches and such. The store is always well stocked and the staff super friendly.

I have shopped here ever since they opened and I can honestly say they are only getting better and better! When they first opened they were just getting started with MyMixx Rewards and doing away with the Acme cards. It was a pretty big improvement given the amount of savings you got with the digital coupons on the app (So if you don't have the MyMixx acme app, you should probably get it). It's located inside a small strip shopping mall where there is also a Wells Fargo Bank, nail salon, UPS store, Game Stop, Starbucks, Sleepy's and a tanning place. They do have a restaurant in there and a dry cleaning shop as well. I think I covered all the shops in there. There is an incredible amount of parking which never seems to be filled up, and in all the years I have been shopping there I have never had to park too far away from either entrance (or maybe I'm just lucky I guess). They have a lot of promotions as well as their coupons they offer on the app. They have cheep chicken Monday's (pun intended), a ton of buy one get one free deals on their meat selection, produce, etc, and even the buy 10 mix and match sales. They offer way more promotions than I can remember/count to be honest. I have ordered from their bakery, seafood section as well as meats and cheeses and I can say they are great! The cakes they make their are affordably priced and they do an amazing job on the cakes! I had one done for my baby shower and one for my cousin's bridal party. Absolutely gorgeous cakes and affordable as well! They always seem to have great deals with their seafood and other fresh produce, meats and cheeses. Personally I think they have better prices than ShopRite and a bit more to choose from. However, I am only speaking for this particular Acme in Bordentown, NJ versus the ShopRite's in both Hamilton, NJ and Bordentown, NJ. They have a pharmacy at their location although I don't get my prescriptions filled there so I don't know too much about it. They have a customer service center that is always helpful and they sell Forever Stamps here as well...so if you don't want to make a separate trip to the post office knowing you have grocery shopping to do, it's your one stop shop! Overall, it's a great grocery store and I recommend it to people moving into the area, people just passing through and anyone else. Honestly, people who already live in Bordentown are probably well aware of this Acme and can agree that it's a great place to shop!

this is one of the better ACME around. I like the store is clean and more presentable than the Brownsmills and Mt. Holly. The prices are a little higher but its okay if you just need to get a few things. I shop at the commisary most times but when i go outside I like to come here.

Most overpriced grocery store I have ever been to. It seems almost everything costs about 50-100% more than the close alternatives. I live right next to this one so unfortunately sometimes I have to take advantage of it's convenience, but otherwise I would never go there.
