Acre 41

Our dinner at Acre 41 was nothing short of amazing. We started with the Truffle Honey Burrata and Roasted Bone Marrow—both were incredibly flavorful and a perfect way to kick off the meal. For the mains, we had the Diver Scallops, Belly-On Pork Chop, and Faroe King Salmon—each dish was cooked to perfection, with beautiful presentations and great attention to detail. For dessert, we indulged in the Key Lime Pie, which was the perfect balance of sweet and tart. To top it all off, the Southern Hospitality cocktail was a refreshing and well-crafted complement to the meal. Highly recommend Acre 41 for anyone looking for a refined dining experience with excellent service and a diverse menu!

Very Pricey but well worth it! We went on our honeymoon to Acre 41. The food here went above and beyond as did the staff. We ordered the 8 oz steak, and it was cooked absolutely beautifully! But by far the best thing we had was the shrimp and grits! So cheesy, and hearty! Would highly recommend!

Walked in the door and Bella greeted us with a smile and was so polite! Jeremiah was the total vibe! His personality and attention to detail and going above and beyond to provide great service was awesome. Chad the bartender made the best drinks, EVER! Chef Alex made sure our food was prepared perfectly! Omar checked on us quite often and made sure he did it with the perfect smile. Last but not least, JACK the manager was amazing , moved with grace and was on his toes the whole night moving around making sure the place was top notch ! I highly recommend Acre 41.

Food was amazing, best steak I’ve ever had. The waitress Jaime was so sweet and her recommendations were all amazing. Would recommend 10/10 for a nice date out!

Came here before a concert for happy hour. Very welcoming and so much fun for a restaurant at a hotel lobby. Food and drinks were amazing. Very close to Moody Center if looking for a place to eat and cocktails.

Amazing food with great service. Mae was a great server and helped me decide on the best dish. The rib eye pork chop was all time and asparagus was good too. Chop sauce was amazing, savory, smokey, and sweet with hominy, corn, tomatillo, epic! Little hard to find the restaurant from the street as it is inside a hotel with the entrance not facing the street, strange. I will be back.

We were debating leaving the hotel for dinner. I'm so glad we didn't because the food here is amazing. I'm so thankful they were gracious enough to accommodate us arriving near closing time. As a whiskey gal, the Summertime Old Fashioned was made very well. I loved the Blue Crab & Artichoke Dip. Very flavorful. The Chile-Glazed Organic Chicken was delicious. I'd love to know how they perfected the crisp. 😋 And the Gulf Shrimp and Grits was very tasty. I loved their spin on it with the charred corn and it was very rich. I'll definitely be back!

It is one of the best places my family visited!! Incredible food! Came in for casual dinner and left very satisfied, we almost skipped this restaurant and was planning to eat elsewhere. Glad we stopped by.

Acre 41 blew me away from the moment I walked in. The architecture is stunning, and there's this warm, energetic buzz in the dining room that sets the mood perfectly. Our waiter, Jeremiah, was fantastic. Super friendly and personable, he made recommendations that were spot-on for our tastes. First up, the wedge salad. Let me tell you, the bacon on this thing was pure magic. It tasted like it came straight from heaven - perfectly smoked, perfectly seared, just incredible. For the entree, we went with the diver scallops. They were cooked to absolute perfection - light, fluffy, and simply divine. The grilled carrots were a great accompaniment, but the real star was the twice-baked potato. Jeremiah recommended it, and wow, did it live up to the hype! The touch of truffle took it to a whole new level. To wash it all down, we had the Trefethen Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. This Cab was full-bodied and amazing. We loved it so much we ended up googling where to buy a bottle (spoiler alert: we found it!). Overall, Acre 41 was an incredible experience. Amazing food, fantastic service, and a great atmosphere. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Austin!

Overall: Get ready for war! The amount of fruit flys that land on your food, in your drinks, and on your table is concerning and irritating. In the time it took me to take a photo, one landed in my green drink and coffee. I proceeded to finish my meal with a napkin over my drinks and wish I could've done the same to my plate. All beauty, no substance. Unfortunately. However my server was nice. I would not recommend for breakfast and honestly don't know if dinner is worth it with the amount of fruit flies. This restaurant is too pretty to have subpar food and an army of unruly bugs. Overall Rating: 4.5/10 What I got: - Steak and eggs: very subpar. I don't remember the last I had to put salt on my steak at a restaurant. The potatoes were very disappointing. Unseasoned and tasted like they were boiled then grilled. Not a fan. 4/10 - Tres Leches: Although you'll have to search for the tres leches sauce, the French toast itself was good. 7.5/1

Darkly lit, low key, nice hotel restaurant. Easy to get a table when I arrived and the waiter knew how to back off from too much chatter to a weary traveler. If in the hotel or nearby U of Texas, I'd recommend.

I really like eating here when I've been in town, the steak is a must have, their burger, ceaser salad, and Mac and cheese also are all really great. Service never misses a beat whether for a meal or coffee and it has a nice cozy ambiance, it's like a hidden gem nestled in all of the hustle and bustle right outside. I have YET to try their brunch and French toast and is on my list to try soon!

Came in for a pit stop before heading upstairs. Great bar with a nice variety of whiskey. Food is enjoyable. Secure seating with reservations as the place can be busy at times.

Food was good but the service was less than mediocre. Our waitress was Nicole. She was super inattentive. She would disappear for long periods of time. We finally went to the bar to get another drink and the bar tender was also extremely rude and wouldn't take our order. She insisted that we order it from our waitress who we had not seen in 20 Mins. Again, food was very good but extremely disappointed in our experience. Do better....

I ordered the truffled bucatini through a food delivery service. It was a bit pricey but I did add the steak. The steak didn't have an option to request how it will be prepared and I usually like it medium rare and the steak was well done (no pink at all, anywhere) so I did regret adding the 4 steak pieces for $12 since it was super done. The flavor was fine. The pasta tasted really good and was rich in flavor but did not blow me away. The pasta did not re-heat very well so it is probably not something I would order to-go again. This may just not be a good place to enjoy outside of the restaurant.

Great service... vibes a little strange being in the lobby of a hotel... there's not really a separation, it's just completely open to the entrance of hotel... not bad just different. Food was ok some things better than others... the popovers seemed popular so we got them but they were kinda mushy and didn't seem freshly baked, not my fav and not nearly the best popovers I've had. Wedge salad was good. We got the acre style filet... lump crab was too salty... steak was well cooked but not the most tender. Key lime pie was yum. We did have a great Cabernet Sauvignon, nice wine.

We are stayed at the hotel for a long weekend and stopped at the bar on Thursday night to get a drink and an appetizer. When I checked in to the location, there was a promo that popped up for a free popover which I asked later to redeem. The gentleman at the bar chuckled and said "oh boy" whatever that's supposed to mean. Please don't do any promotions if you are unhappy with them. No need to make me feel bad for the promotion/coupon you are running after people check in on Yelp. We ordered a smoked manhattan and old fashioned, and blue carb and artichoke dip with white cheddar popover. Everything tasted really good!

Very nice restaurant!! Beautiful atmosphere. Perfect for Date night. The food was delicious. I ordered an end piece of the Prime Rib and it was humongous. It was at least 3 1/2 inches tall. Their Old Fashioned was good too! Well worth the visit!!

Came on a Monday night in a group of 5, great service as hardly anyone there. Low lightening and a fantastic bar. Good food. My favorite appetizer was the roasted bone marrow. The crater salad was also good and you can add protein. Definitely come here for the steaks and the mashed potatoes are the loaded baked potatoes they also have moktails as well as alcoholic drinks.

Acre 41 has become our staple pre-show happy hour spot for events at Bass Concert Hall. The proximity makes it a convenient choice, with discounted bites, cocktails, and wines that never disappoint. The option to either enjoy a leisurely walk to the hall or opt for a quick Uber ride adds to its appeal. The friendly service, inviting ambiance, and fantastic happy hour deals ($12 appetizers, $12 cocktails and discounted wines by the glass) ensure that every visit is a guaranteed good time. It's a reliable choice for a delightful start to a night out.

This restaurant was a surprise! Located in the Otis hotel. Great vibe, Since they have a bourbon bar, I ordered an old-fashioned and it was delicious. We started with the oysters Rockefeller and were disappointed. There were five oysters, not six, I got two my husband got three. This dish was good not great. It had what tasted like ham in it and spinach. I wouldn't order it again for the price. I had the scallops and this dish was amazing! My husband ordered the fillet with the lump crab on top and he absolutely loved it. John was our waiter and did a fantastic job. I drink a lot of water and it tasted very musty to me, I did mention it to John. Maybe that's just how Austin's water tastes. Overall, I would recommend acre 41.

We stayed in the Otis hotel over the weekend for a concert and saw acre. 41 was connected to it. My first impressions were good with sitting at the bar, and having some great cocktails, along with the bartenders being very attentive. Just before the concert we had a reservations here and it did not disappoint. For appetizers, we had the fried oysters and for dinner we had steaks and the twice baked potato and a corn. Personally, the prime rib with horseradish and a nice Ajou sauce was just perfection. The size portion of it was massive and came with a great mashed potato. My girlfriend had a fillet which was so good. It's shown in the photo but I forgot what the sauce we we purchased with the steak. I think it was a white truffle sauce it was just very underwhelming. The side dish that I would recommend everyone getting though is that twice baked potato. It does have hints of truffle in it and it truly was cooked to perfection. The only thing that kind of threw me off was our waiter. He was very nice, but we asked for a skinny margarita, and he actually didn't know what that was. Overall, I really enjoyed the dinner! Just be aware your wallet might be hurting after.

Acre 41 gave us everything we were looking for on my mom's birthday. Great drinks, service, apps, mains, dessert. Everything was near perfect. I had the petite filet with black truffle sauce. It was amazing. Cooked PERFECTLY! Although mine was delicious the birthday girls' Acre filet was wayyyy better. The crab was perfect and so tasty. A friend also had the Texas style and ate enough that we didn't have enough to take a picture of it lol I had wine and the server was super helpful in ordering it. Others had martinis and said they were made perfectly. Overall we had an amazing evening at this beautiful hotel restaurant.

I had a work meeting downtown to discuss business,however that meeting left us all craving steak! So we decided to walk over to Acre 41 for lunch . The atmosphere was businesslike,we had no wait time to be seated. It was clean ,neat and the hostess greeted us with a warm smile. The service was awesome (I usually remember names). I ordered my steak medium well . One of the things I live for when I order a steak, is for the server to make sure I'm happy with it before taking off to do something else & she NAILED it. I'll definitely be grabbing lunch here again.

Went here on date-night with my husband. We really enjoyed it. We sat at the bar had a few glasses of wine and some food. We started off with the tuna tacos- they were really good. My hubby ordered the shrimp and grits and I ordered the truffle pasta. Both were amazing. I think I liked my dish a little more than his. The truffle flavor really came through, but next time I think I will add a protein to the dish.

I was impressed with Acre 41, not 5 stars, but very good. We were seated before our reservation time and our waiter John came to the table within 2 minutes of arriving. John took his time explaining the restaurant, everything to expect and helped us choose our cocktails and wine. At no time during dinner did we feel rushed. The restaurant is very nice for a restaurant attached to a hotel! I can't eat gluten and miss eating bread before dinner with everyone else. John brought me gluten free bread so I wasn't left out!! We both ordered the strip steak Texas style with crawfish. Both steaks were cooked exactly as ordered, but mine was a bit tough in spots. The whipped potatoes were delicious, but almost non existent. I would definitely recommend Acre 41 and by all means ask for John so you can have the same great experience.

Acre 41 is a very cool looking restaurant. The ambiance here is great! The bar itself was awesome looking! I'd love to sit there and have a few drinks. We ate here before going to a show and had heard only wonderful things about it. I'd say for the price the food isnt as good as this price range. I've definitely had much better steak at carve then we did here. I will say the jalapeño cornbread was delish! The shrimp cocktail and sauce is so good! The filet was great and the flat iron was just meh. So all in all it would be worth a trip here especially during a happy hour.

First stop during our Austin vacation! Started out with a good one for lunch. I had the Gulf Shrimp and Grits - charred corn, blistered tomato, jalapeño and white cheddar grits ... it was absolutely delicious! The grits were a knockout, and the sauce on top was super savory and smokey and yum! Big juicy shrimp. Couldn't ask for a better dish. Hubby chose the Crispy Koji Chicken sandwich - brussel slaw on top with tomato jam. It was huge! And very good. The slaw was a great addition; lended an excellent texture and contrast. Chicken was ultra crispy. Served on an 8"or so hoagie cut in 3rds and with a pile of shoestring fries. We had a good meal, good service, and a great start to our stay in Austin. Very happy indeed!

We had a lovely quick stop at Acre 41. Did not have a reservation, sat at the bar and ordered dinner and drinks. Cool, chill atmosphere. Our server, Chad, was awesome. Good conversation, good recommendations and the food was delish! We wanna go back to try more on the menu!

The food, drinks, and service were wonderful. But if you do not want to sit at the bar make a reservation. Sadly, we didn't. The place was completely empty and "they didn't have room". Even after a great dinner at the bar, the restaurant itself was still half empty.

Stayed at the Otis and dropped in at the bar for a drink and appetizers. We ordered the ahi tacos and cornbread. Both were super good. The ahi tacos were loaded with tuna with a good complement of guacamole. The cornbread was soo good. It was so moist and flavorful. It had a little spice and little sweet and was definitely a guilty pleasure.

My husband and I decided to go to Acre 41 for our anniversary. It was a really cool place. It's located in the University of Texas area of West Campus in a Hotel. We walked in and went to the hostess. We had a reservation and were seated right away. I liked that she asked us if we wanted to sit at a table or booth. I chose a booth. After sitting for a few minutes our waiter came over and talked to us about what we would like to drink. He was great. He gave us our menus and gave us time to decide what we wanted to eat. When he returned with our drinks we ordered. He was really friendly and asked us if we had any questions. We didn't and ordered. We started off by sharing the iron skillet cornbread which had zucchini, green chili and white cheddar in it with a dab of butter on top. It was really good. I could taste the chili in it and enjoyed the butter that melted into each piece. We also shared the Golden beet and apple salad. It comes with arugula, whipped goat cheese, sunflower seeds and a sherry vinaigrette. It was okay. I was actually surprised that there were no apples in it as it said in the menu but the arugula, and goat cheese with the vinaigrette was good. I'm not really a fan of the beets but I tried them and they were okay. For my main dish I ordered the Fred Linz Heritage bone in filet cooked medium with a twice baked potato side. This was one of the best steaks I have had in a long time. It was tender, and cooked perfectly. The seasoning on it was just right. So good. The twice baked potato was just as good. It was covered with chives and cheese and was very flavorful. My husband ordered the 16 oz prime rib cooked medium rare. His came with a side of whipped potato, natural beef jus, and horseradish cream. I only sampled the prime rib but it was very good and cooked just the way my husband wanted it. We shared the warm cast iron brownie which comes with vanilla ice cream and pecan praline. It was really good. It was nice and warm. The ice cream was melting when they brought it because the brownie was hot. The pecan praline completed the dessert. It was a really good meal for this special occasion. It's pricey but it's good quality food. You can always check the pricing out online on their website in advance if you would like to get an idea of how expensive it is. The pricing is listed next to the menu items.

The blue crab dip is the business!!! Regardless of what you order from this restaurant the blue crab dip is a must!!! It's super creamy, the crab was well flavored and everything just paired so well! My friend had the Chile glazed organic chicken and although she enjoyed it, she didn't feel like it was worth the price. The wagyu burger was my second favorite. It was jam packed with flavor and the shoestring fries were also amazing! The ambiance was also beautiful!

We live here, but not downtown. Broadway in Austin gives us a reason to be tourists in our own town, and Acre 41 was the place we hadn't been tonight. Looking for that upscale pre-show early dinner (6pm), this place was exactly what we wanted. It's the restaurant attached to the hotel Otis, and they focus on really good proteins and expertly crafted sides. And bourbon. Don't forget the bourbon. More than 100! I had the belly on pork chop. She had the beef culotte. Tonight, I think she won the best dish prize. Better than any pot roast, the beef melted into the sauce and the carrots stood firm and crisp. My pork was excellently cooked with a semi-sweet and mildly acidic gastrique that complemented it well. The starter of marrow bone was okay, but missing depth. The sides were magnificent - was that marscapone and nutmeg in the spinach? Great drinks, food and service. Not your typical "hotel restaurant" and worth of the upscale casual restaurant scene in Austin. Great meal!

I used to love this place! The food and ambience are great and I used to come with friends, family, and for work. I'm so disappointed they are falling into the trap of nickel and diming their patrons. There is no parking around this restaurant because it's located on UT campus on extremely busy streets so you have to valet. Now they are charging $15 for valet alone and none of that even goes to the valet guy so you'd have to tip on top of that for them to get paid!! So disappointed they would do this to locals. I will no longer be coming here because how do I explain that to my business guests or family that after an expensive meal to be prepared to pay an additional charge to something that should be comped other than tipping the valet guy.

Bathrooms in the building. It's the ground floor of the mariott hotel. Not sure about parking since I'm staying at the hotel. But I would assume it's a find your own parking scenario. I ordered a waygu burger without bread. The fries are DELICIOUS! Salty and shoestring style! So tasty. The burger was okay, made med rare just not all of that waygu flavor. My friend got the shrimp and grits and as someone who has lived in georgia for 10+ years and this was not the shrimp and grits I know. It was super soupy like a tomato soup, not that much grits, like very little and they added pork to it which isn't listed on the menu. My other friend got the salmon it was okay, not amazing he found a huge bone in it so be careful and its a rather small portion. Drinks were good and service was fast!

Probably one of the best steaks that I have ever had! I had the filet with crawfish tails and it was very good. Service was very good as well! I would definately try this again.

Placed an order to go (Salad). Got all the way back to hotel only to discover that they hadn't included the dressing (vinaigrette) or any eating utensils. The salad, which sounded delicious from their description - arugula, apples, beets, sunflower seeds, with a sherry vinaigrette - was almost all arugula. It seems that they don't place much care in their to-go orders. Hopefully dine in's better. ‍

Bottom Line: Great service and classy ambiance for a Saturday morning brunch. By the time we were ready to seek a Saturday morning breakfast reservations for a part of six we weren't able to get any reservations. We picked Acre 41 based on a combination of Yelp reviews and Open Table reviews and it was great! While this might not be a trendy spot, that was totally fine for our crowd of 40ish something's. Located inside a Marriott AC Hotel, we enjoyed the classy ambiance, quietness of the restaurant and excellent service. The food and drinks were also great. I personally enjoyed the ham and pimento cheese omelette, homemade biscuits and buratta on grilled bread. We also did a bubbles and brunch order for the table which was a flight of juices and sparkling wine. Service was awesome. Slightly less awesome was the still water on the table which tasted gross so we opted for some Perrier. Also a little disappointing is that when I called I was told there was a public garage across the street which was only $5 but when I looked at the website after the fact I realized I could have valeted for free for two hours but I probably would have tipped $5 anyway so I guess its ok.

Fantastic atmosphere and service. John was excellent with recommendations. He was helpful with drink recommendations, to include specific liquors to include in which drinks. Old Fashioneds and Manhattans were excellent. Highly recommend the Blue Crab and Spinach Dip, Caesar salad, Prime Rib, Pork Belly, and Key Lime Pie. Seriously 0 misses on the night, especially if Tatiana is at the bar. 100% revisit and I live in Austin.

10/10 would recommend! We stopped in for my boyfriend's birthday and we couldn't be happier we did. The food was absolutely delicious, we splurged and got the following (all of which we would get again): Blue Crab & Artichoke Dip, Roasted Bone Marrow, Belly-On Pork Chop, NY Strip, Eloté, Warm Cast Iron Brownie, Drinks - The Gardenia, Blue Jay (+Titos). The biggest plus of the night had to have been our server, Monte, however. He was super attentive and very helpful with deciding what to order, and made sure we felt like he was personally invested in making our night special. We'll definitely be stopping in again when we're back in the area!

Acre 41 is located inside the Otis hotel. The restaurant is stunning and looks very upscale. The atmosphere is perfect for date night or special occasions. They have a large and beautiful bar that serves as a centerpiece and sets the vibe immediately as you walk in. I tried the Blue Crab & Artichoke Dip, Truffled Spaghetti, and Ode to a Nightingale cocktail. The dip was great to share. It was very creamy and had a lot of crab. The Truffled Spaghetti looks deceivingly small in pictures but the portion is perfect as a main dish. I really enjoyed it as an entree. The mezcal cocktail was really smoky and too strong for my taste. I was still able to drink it, but I wouldn't order this drink again. Overall, I enjoyed this restaurant for the lovely ambiance and great food.

This restaurant is located in the Otis hotel. It's obviously convenient if you are staying there but it has a great menu for being a hotel restaurant so give it a try even if you aren't staying there. I tried the truffle spaghetti based on the reviews and was definitely not disappointed at all! The waiter suggested adding salmon, shrimp or chicken, I went with the shrimp. OMG it was fantastic. It was a very generous portion with three very large prawns. Pasta cooked perfectly al dente. I wish I could have eaten it all but was stuffed. They had a very unique cocktail menu with several varieties of old fashioned cocktails. My waiter Justin was very friendly and promptly brought my cocktail and entree. Definitely a 5 star dinner for taste, service and ambiance.

Great ambiance, not too loud, amazing bourbon list, excellent food. The steak tartare was mouth watering as was the wedge salad with the giant slab of pork belly on top! The service was excellent. Did not try any entres as it was later and we weren't too hungry will definitely come back.

Really delicious dinner: 16 oz. ribeye and Brush Creek Wagyu Burger. The spicy crunchy tuna roll might be too "fusionistic". The service was great. Parking might be tricky because it's a busy one way street during special occasions such as UT graduation day. Better to valet, which is comped; no validation needed. Very pretty ambiance inside the restaurant with strong AC and comfortable cushioned seats: always a plus for me!

I've visited twice and the food was consistently great. Highly recommend the halibut. Service was very helpful. Very cool atmosphere.

Nice lobby. But $12 for less than 20 fries is unseemly... Bartenders quite friendly and accommodating for 2 weary travelers. Hope to visit again

Acre 41 did not disappoint. We had the scallops and shrimp grits meals, an appetizer and dessert (bread pudding), all were cooked to perfection. The scallops had some delicious mushroom spears and some greens. It would have been appreciated if it featured a more substantial serving of greens and mushrooms. The stand outs for me were the Blue Jay mocktail (Blueberry, mint, vanilla, lemon, lime, ginger beer) and the bread pudding which had a generous portion of ice cream on top. I really appreciate when the restaurant goes to the trouble of making delicious mocktails. Service was excellent. FInally, restaurant was stunning with soaring ceilings and artistic lighting. The Otis Hotel has a fantastic restaurant which defies all usual hotel restaurant stereotypes by offering tasty food that was not overpriced. This local will be back again.

Five thousand stars for service and friendliness!!! Every staff member who I met was nice and made my happy hour special! I will admit, I was only there for the **half off happy hour special***, but I would really love to come back for a meal. Happy hour is Monday through Friday 5-7. The spiced cider mule is a perfect, light drink to unwind too. It's not strong (no mule is) so it's a great starter of a slow evening. The staff followed strict COVID rules. Everyone wore masks. A lot of staff asked how I was enjoying everything and asked if I need anything. Super attentive staff!

Food was pretty good. Our service was awesome. Really nothing to write home about. Typical pricing for a hotel restaurant.

The food here is fantastic. There's quite a large dining room along with a nicely stocked bar. The restaurant is beautiful and our server, Stax (I believe was their name) was very skilled at leading a delicious culinary experience. Cocktails were fresh and fun. We enjoyed the crab dip. The scallops were cooked perfectly Stax recommend a fantastic wine, the Pairing, which I loved and got us in and out quick to catch a concert nearby. Thanks!

The service is top notch! What a cool vibe of the restaurant, too. The shrimp and grits was amazing! The chile glazed chicken was amazing! Elote street corn delicious. Delicious cocktails, too. Went for breakfast and didn't love the breakfast burrito. My husband got the pimento cheese and ham omelette and that was very good.
