First visit and can’t wait to return. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Our server, Josh, was spot on with his recommendations and service. The chef prepared my wife an off menu vegetarian entree which she loved. The ala cart sides were very delicious, well proportioned and many vegetarian options. Great spot to celebrate many occasions, business meal or just a casual meal Very nice selection of wine and champagne.

Google
What a wonderful dinner! Morgan at the bar mixed excellent cocktails. Everything I had was so delicious! Gnocchi, tuna, octopus, gnudi, quail, carrots. All SO good. I recommend going with a group of 3-4 people so that you can get a few bites of lots of different things.

Google
The food is expensive, but absolutely incredible. A single order can easily feed two people, and it's some of the best steak I've ever had. Definitely a great place for a significant celebration, like an anniversary or a birthday.

Amy Quinto

Google
It was a lovely anniversary dinner. Bartender makes an excellent dirty martini but I would love to see a nicer/fresher olive or option of blue cheese stuffed. Our favorite food items were the carrots for the table and the sea bass. Everything was delish in a beautiful, romantic setting.

First time visit for a birthday dinner for two, and Sonia F. was our server. She was standoffish and not very expressive. I feel like we got a warmer reception from the hostess and other servers as we moved past them to our table. We were seated in the very back corner, which was suspicious, but ok. I like nature and looking out of the window, so I didn't ask to be moved. We were seated next to a larger birthday party, and she assisted that table and server better than ours. She didn't explain to us that bread was an extra charge after us waiting 30 minutes for our entrees and seeing it on other tables. I had to ask for it. It wasn't my preference as the outside is pretzel like and very salty, so maybe she's not a fan either. I asked her about substituting brussel sprouts with a steak entree (which she said they do not allow), making a joke to her about it being my date's birthday, and she quipped, "I don't own the place" in response. We should have left then, but he's a trooper. The steak was cooked very well and buttery. The short ribs were not my preference, but I was pleasantly surprised by the celery root puree (almost like potatoes) and the broccolini. The margaritas from the bar were great. I was completely done when she assisted the other party and brought out cake deserts for that table and hadn't even mentioned it to us. We locked eyes at that moment, and I knew that she was horrible. Lol! To add insult to injury, the valet brought his car around and took the keys to go get another car so we couldn't even make a hasty escape! 😂 Will never return, but thanks for the memories.

Google
Morgan was an absolute pleasure. She had amazing recommendations and drink suggestions. I had the ribeye and you better be hungry as it's huge. Correctly cooked and very tender. The duck confit casserole was amazing. Parking is in the back and if you show up when they open, you probably won't need a reservation. Sit at the bar and Morgan will entertain you. I will come here again.

Google
I had the Hanger (onglet) steak cooked perfectly, accompanied with faro and a mushroom Madeira sauce, and brocollini. My wife had fish and she really loved it. We had the asparagus table veggies, and my daughter had the prime beef NY Strip, and she loved it. The service was on point, and just the right level of attention. We would not hesitate to go again!

Very nice atmosphere, never knew this restaurant existed until my friend invited to her wedding which took place here.

Yelp
I absolutely love Acre! It was my first time visiting, and I couldn't have chosen a better spot for a celebratory business dinner. The restaurant has a quaint charm, resembling a little house that feels warm and inviting as soon as you walk in. I appreciate smaller restaurants like this one because they often offer a higher quality experience, and Acre definitely delivers. The dining area features a few tables, creating an intimate atmosphere, while the cozy bar is nestled in another room. Our bartender was incredibly knowledgeable, enhancing our experience even more. We had the pleasure of dining in a private room, which added to the special occasion. I ordered the fried Bronzino, which is served whole with a sauce. It was so delicious that I didn't even need to sample the sauce before diving in! Before the main course, I also enjoyed the corn and she-crab soup, which was simply delightful. I can't wait for my next chance to visit Acre and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful dining experience!

Yelp
Greeted and seated promptly by professional staff. Setting is lovely for a high end dining experience in an upscale casual setting. It is a good spot for a quiet dinner on a Tuesday evening. The menu is limited but that allows the chef and staff to focus on getting the food just right and it is.

Koby

Yelp
My experience at Acre was great. This is one of the coziest restaurants I've been to in Memphis. The food and drinks were excellent, and so was the service. I loved the foie gras torchon and would recommend it to anyone. The short rib gnocchi was rich and pillowy and a huge portion for the price. The rotolo with morels was one of the tastiest, and prettiest, pasta dishes I've tried. I look forward to my next visit here.

Gail M.

Yelp
Beautiful setting in tree shaded house in East Memphis. However, everything is overpriced. A very limited menu, heavy on red meat. The service was excellent. However, I won't return I will not return.

Kevin K.

Yelp
Hands down, ACRE is my favorite Memphis restaurant. There is no question and no contest - ACRE is it. Why? Consistency - in both service and product. Not that we go here all of the time because it is a nice little penny (though worth it!), there has never been a time where we had bad service or even average food. Even for things that I wasn't the big fan of, they were still well-made and nicely done. I also love that it's a "fine dining" establishment that doesn't act like it. It's nice to go to a down-to-earth place without all of the pretension and nonsense that comes with that experience sometimes. Our last visit there included the cassoulet, short rib, and duck confit fried black rice. I wasn't big on the cassoulet, though my husband loved it, but the other two were superb! Then again, I don't think you can go wrong here. Go, enjoy it, and don't pay too much mind to the prices. They are still reasonable but a bit high.

Laura B.

Yelp
Holy moly! This place is divine:) First, Lily (bartender) is absolutely superb...her cocktails are heavenly! Second, the food...wow! So fresh and well crafted. We split the roasted carrots with avocado, walnut, labneh and white truffle honey (so flavorful) and the Piedmontese gnocchi with short rib and smoked potato sauce (hearty elevated comfort food). Those two dishes were more than enough for the two of us...we had leftovers to take home. Go, sit at the bar, watch Lily work her magic, and taste the farm to table deliciousness that comes of the kitchen!

Jackie B.

Yelp
We dined here with friends and the food ,service , and ambiance were wonderful! The server Sonja was extremely knowledgeable of the menu offerings and suggested her favorites as well . We were a party of four and ordered the filet , the halibut , cauliflower, au gratin , broccolini, potatoes, mushroom risotto , salad and banana tarts for dessert. Libations included red wine , specialty tequila cocktails and rose . The steak was amazing with flavorful gravy and the halibut was fresh and tasty ! The restaurant is a beautiful space with a small bar , great dining area and patio offerings. The only reason I didn't give them five stars, is the menu is a bit limited for entree selections and the reservation process is not automated (you have to call in - no online bookings ) and they call yuh back to confirm , which can be a bit inconvenient.

Margie C.

Yelp
We went to ACRE for a rehearsal dinner and it was fantastic. The restaurant itself is beautiful - it looks and feels like an old home that was converted into a restaurant. Very intimate and perfect for our group size. The salad to start was amazing, I wish I could recreate the dressing. I had the salmon with black rice and it was perfect. Service was great, my only suggestion would be that the servers wait to deliver drinks/food until after the toast/speech is finished. I understand that is tough but the speeches were very short! Otherwise, I loved ACRE and would return next time I'm in town.

CB H.

Yelp
Fantastic food and ambiance. Whenever I'm in Memphis, I make sure to go to Acre for a meal.

Karen D.

Yelp
Came here for a wedding rehearsal dinner and loved the ambiance, service, and food! The cornbread panzanella salad was unique and delightful. The cornbread made it more interesting and more Southern, which I really enjoyed. I had the wild king salmon with grits as my main, and it was so tender. The grits were rich and creamy. For dessert, we had an assortment of mini ones - I tried the panna cotta, which was good, the chocolate mousse, which was excellent, and a macaron, which was also excellent.

Chris B.

Yelp
A++++ Superb!!! The food is excellent and flavorful!! Cassoulet Short Rib Black Rice Everything was delicious and very flavorful!!

Anitra L.

Yelp
Wonderful experience, not your ordinary menu... which is a huge PLUS!! Our waitress was attentive and we received plenty of food. Whoever the bartender was, made our taste buds very happy:)))

Yelp
If I could leave a negative star I would. I had dinner there tonight 2/12/22 and had a horrible experience. I know since Covid it's hard to find good employees that actually care about costumer service but wen you are spending over $160 for 2 people plus tip I was expecting a little more than an attitude and perhaps a refill. My girlfriend got the NY strip and I got the Pork Both of them were crispy on the outside and completely raw on the inside. She sent hers back 2 times and finally got a burn dried steak but I completely lost my appetite after tasting uncooked pork.

Paul B.

Yelp
Food was phenomenal! Chef came out and it was obvious that he took pride in his creations. Morgan the Bartender was an absolute disgrace "B" for this establishment. My whole group felt like we were bothering her. We had to ask 3-4 times to get refills of drinks. If you sit at a table this will likely be 5 star restaurant.

Casey E.

Yelp
Acre was excellent. No complaints. Had a few small plates and the NY strip which they cooked to blue at my request which was much appreciated as it was done perfectly! Highlight was definitely the steak and the farro small plate. Will definitely be back!

Kylie C.

Yelp
Came here for a birthday dinner last week. Food was all right. Nothing we ordered for appetizers or entrees were anything we'd order again. This includes the broccolini, the smoked farro, the NY steak and the Rib Eye. Both steaks were not accurately cooked to temp and had a lack of seasoning. The desserts were our favorite part of the meal, especially the sticky date cake and the hazelnut chocolate tart. Those desserts redeemed the whole experience! Bottle of wine (Pinot Noir) was really nice and paired well with our food. Our server was good/fair. Ambiance was excellent. The atmosphere itself and the patio are exquisite.

Julie W.

Yelp
3.5 stars according to my standards but for Memphis 5 stars because there is nothing better in this god forsaken city. The menu is great we got a total of 9 small plates. I want to say 5 dishes were good, 2 great, 2 we sent back. It's a beautiful ambiance, very romantic. Food is good and we will be back for the other main items. To me, this is the best restaurant in Memphis if you are coming from large metropolitan type cities like NYC, LA, etc. otherwise this would be a 6.5/10 type restaurant in those kinds of big cities. For Memphis? 9.5/10. Service was not the greatest. Our server was just short and rude typical of Memphis service. Whatever I am used it at this point lol. But yes like others have said the service is whatever for what you pay for but it's not "horrible" like others like to exaggerate. I say try this place. $25 corkage fee and delicious cocktails.

Arshia M.

Yelp
We haven't frequented any restaurants of late due to the Covid-19 pandemic but this was a special occasion. It's not everyday your husband turns 40! I am so glad Acre was the destination we chose, after stepping out of protective bubble. They took all the necessary precautions and kept the restaurant at 25% capacity. Now to the food. Everything we ordered was amazing, but I was an especially huge fan of the gnocci. I really don't come here enough but suspect we will become regular patrons.

Taurin H.

Yelp
The food is always great here. The Duck Fried Rice is my new favorite here. The service is top notch!

Natasha M.

Yelp
I visited Acre on a dark, rainy night and drove right past it and was given instructions on how to find it "look for the yellow door". Once I arrived, it felt like a nice home. My friends were at the bar in the back and had ordered the charcuterie tray, chickpea fries, and burger. Everything looked great. I decided to order the Kim Chi fries and truly believe I made the best decision. There were so many fries and there was just the right amount of toppings. The Bulgogi Beef, Cheese, and more made it the most high classed bowl of fries that I ever sank my teeth into. They have a full menu and I'm sure you'll find something great too.

Marilyn H.

Yelp
This restaurant is Beautiful, cozy and romantic. Service staff was attentive and thoughtful.

Baloney B.

Yelp
The food and service are phenomenal! I've eaten here so many times and have never been disappointed. I particularly like the duck fried rice but it's impossible to go wrong here. If you're lucky they'll seat you by the fireplace and turn it on, which is quite cozy. The reservation system is the only reason I took off a star, otherwise it's a solid 5/5. I would eat here a lot more if they had online reservations. By the time I leave a message and get a call back, most of the time I've already booked another table somewhere else. Give this place a shot!

Yelp
Acre Restaurant has always been a favorite place for my husband and I. So we decided to celebrate my 60th birthday there by having a private party for 24 people. We reserved the front dining room that evening. I can't even tell you how much they exceeded our expectations. Every aspect was perfection. The food, the drinks, the service was all world class. I worked with their event planner and they were so accommodating to working together with my floral designer and my photographer. The night was magical and I can't thank Chef Andrew, owner Wally Joe, event planner Margo and all the wait staff enough. We started off with a cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres that included: Roasted Tomato Bisque in mini glasses & Grilled Cheese Crostini Crawfish, Corn & Okra Stuffed Hushpuppies Twice Baked Fingerling Potatoes Truffle, Bacon, Scallions & Parmesan Then we moved on to a salad starter: Mixed green salad with Roasted Apples, Goat Cheese, Walnuts & Ginger-Apple Vinaigrette The entree choices were: Roasted Chicken Galantine With Bacon, Roasted Root Vegetables, Brussels Sprouts & Thyme Chicken Jus SPANISH SEABASS With Braised Fennel, Shiitake-Butternut Squash Gratin & Almond-Shellfish Sauce IN-HOUSE 40 DAY DRY-AGED RIBEYE With Aligot Potatoes, Garlicy Broccoli & Soy-Red Wine Sauce BRAISED VEAL OSSO BUCO With Porcini-Ricotta Gnudi, Charred Broccolini & Dijon-Anchovy Sauce Dessert was an amazing chocolate cake with French buttercream frosting and also a house made strawberry sorbet.

Nichole S.

Yelp
Always excellent. Always courteous. The carrots and the farro are the best ever. Also, the ambiance, the location, and the parking are excellent.

Jill E.

Yelp
Service and food at Acre were fantastic. Definitely one of Memphis' best dining experiences. My only negative is that the menu is a little odd, the smallest cut of meat was 14oz and we all struggled with what to order for our main dish. Ultimately though we loved everything we got, and we took home tons of leftovers. Highlights were the gnocchi, cauliflower, wild boar gnudi, the veal crepinette and all of the desserts!

Craig D.

Yelp
Our first time here, as it came highly recommended. Appetizers were incredible! I would say the ribeye is one of the top 3 steaks Memphis has to offer!! Actually, everything we tried was amazing. The service was top notch. Nice atmosphere with really good cocktails and a really large wine and bourbon selection. Will definitely be back!!!

Nicole L.

Yelp
Delicious, elevated, rustic-inspired recipes with decor to match. Order anything on the menu, you won't regret any decision. Portions are not "shareable" so make sure to order accordingly. MUST stay for dessert!

Thea S.

Yelp
Great Food! Excellent Cocktails. Chef Wally Joe is AMAZING!! Duck Breast was Devine. As a reminder he's a top chef and appeared on the Food Network. Beautiful Atmosphere for an evening out.

Patrick O.

Yelp
Acre is our favorite restaurant in town. The patio is beautiful and quiet. The decor inside is perfectly on trend and the architecture is very cool). The vegetarian options are fantastic (I recommend the heirloom tomatoes and mushroom pie). The cocktail menu is fun and their bourbon selection is amazing (and not too bad a value).

Taylor G.

Yelp
We came here for dinner and the service was incredible! As for the food, it lacked basic flavor in my opinion. We started with the octopus and it was pretty good, the oxtail in it was the star of the fish. For our main courses, we ordered the monkfish and the braised beef short rib. The monkfish texture was incredible since it was olive oil poached, however there was zero flavor. The short rib was good - garlic mashed potatoes were incredible. Overall somewhat disappointed with the food but might give it a second shot in the future.

Alexandra P.

Yelp
We dined at Acre for the second time tonight and it was even better than the first! We enjoyed the preset NYE menu and every dish we tried was delicious! Healthy portions for a preset menu and everything was planned and executed perfectly. As always, their cocktails and service are top notch! Well worth the price!

Stephanie K.

Yelp
What can I say? This was an amazing recommendation from a friend that lives in Memphis. The restaurant is a charming former house, redone very nicely with natural light and simple, elegant décor. I started, on this warm summer evening with the Champs de Provence Rose' while I perused the amazing offerings for "First Course". It was crisp, just a little fruity and refreshing. For my first course, I decided on the lighter, smaller option of the Kampachi crudo with avocado-lemon oil, pesto, Marcona almonds, pickled mustard seeds and castelvetrano olives. This dish was SUPER FRESH AND LIGHT. The lemon oil is perfect with the fish, maintaining the fresh and light theme, although (not being a wine aficionado and certainly not a sommelier) the rose' did not pair well with this selection. About the time I finished the crudo, the house bread arrived. I was in heaven, again, with the nutty, chewy 12-grain bread and the salted sweet cream butter. With my dinner, I ordered the Tinta de toro, Victorino - dry, fruity, black cherry and chocolate. This was the best selection I made the entire meal, seriously... I still (a week later) can't stop thinking about this wine! It paired very well with the grilled porterhouse (pork), Oh.My.God good - yes, it was that good! It was served with ham hock sautéed cabbage, fingerling potatoes and a crushed tomato sauce. I was already getting full by this time, but I cleaned my plate anyway... (so good I forgot to take a photo!) And since I still had a bit of this delectable wine left, I ordered dessert! The dark chocolate mouse cake which was dense and rich and oh, so delish. (Best part - it paired famously with the red wine). I've already recommended Acre to everyone I've encountered since my visit... You won't be disappointed!

Alan P.

Yelp
Hidden gem in East Memphis. My wife just happened to find this place on Google Maps when she was searching for something else. We looked it up and decided to have our anniversary dinner there as it looked like a cool, low key, and fancy spot. It is all three. It's actually inside of an old house right off of Perkins. The interior is really nice, but the patio is where I recommend sitting. Great wine list. The food was next level. Everything on the menu looked outstanding. We will definitely be back for a special occasion dinner, or when we have guests in town looking for something besides BBQ.

Lynn H.

Yelp
Another wonderful dinner at Acre Saturday night . Food was spectacular and our waitress Katie was a jewel. She made our night even better with great service and vivacious personality.

AG N.

Yelp
Charming, homey restaurant surrounded by lush shady green trees...boar ragu and sticky toffee pudding highly recommended!

Amanda M.

Yelp
Great atmosphere, amazing service, and overall good food. I went recently for my wife's birthday. It was a Thursday night and from 6-6:30 we were the only ones in the restaurant. We ordered the octopus as an appetizer- overall it was good but octopus was cooked a bit too long and was chewy, the black garlic was DELISH but we only got one clove, and the oxtail was a bit chewier than I've had before. Flavors were amazing, happy with the app, but just a couple things could have been a bit better. The mushroom polenta was my favorite! Varying mushrooms with different textures and amazing earthy flavor. The pork chop porterhouse was good and smoky but I would have liked some type of contrasting flavor to cut the smoke/salt taste. Overall, happy with the experience and I'll probably return; however, for the price and the excellent restaurants popping up all over Memphis it's not quite at the top of my list.

Brooke H.

Yelp
I was highly impressed with the quality of food, drinks and service! The restaurant has a "romantic cottage" feel that was perfect for date night.

Eric C.

Yelp
Reliably well crafted food and a very complete and cost appropriate wine menu; if I see a Sancerre on any menu, there's usually only 1, tonight we had three options. Rarely do I see Skate on any menu. In this case it was pan fried preparation was spot on. The food changes with the season with a few very reliable standbys rounding out a limited but balanced menu including appetizers, small plates, entrees and ala carte options. Service by the ever charming Sonia is a terrific ... she remembered me from 4 months ago.

L. N. D.

Yelp
This place is a must visit. My husband has been wanting to visit for some time so for his milestone birthday, I obliged his want. If your paying attention while driving as you should you'll miss this place; however, if your looking that direction you can't miss the right yellow door. The ambience is so casual, chic. Definitely a dinner place with the opposite sex. They do have a bar area that might be okay for a girls night but iffy. At any rate, Great food and service. A bit on the pricey side but that's okay for a nice, quiet dinner. Would definitely revisit to try the Grilled Duck. For First Course: we shared the Clams and Pork Belly: Absolutely Amazing!!! Be careful there a few jalapeños hidden and will give you a real hot. The potatoes with grilled bread that soaks up the juices is to die for. I could have as an entree and be okay. I had the Gnocchi and my husband had the halibut.

Joelle P.

Yelp
Wow. I am so glad that I finally had dinner here! First of all, I can't believe how nice everyone was. From the bartender to Wally Joe, every person I met was incredibly kind. Especially the bartender! She was absolutely amazing. The entire night I felt like I was in a ski lodge. The ambiance is incredibly charming. I fell in love with the horse photographs and the complimentary valet was also a plus. My only teensy, tiny issue was with the menu. There were only a handful of things I would order. I finally decided on the ribeye and it was quite good, but not knock my socks off. I don't know if they change the menu regularly but I would love to see what else they have. And they didn't have any specials tonight either. However, the dessert was absolutely mind blowing. The apple pie and chocolate whatever was gone in 2 seconds. I will definitely be back!

David J.

Yelp
In the top three of my favorite restaurants in Memphis. The location, the atmosphere, the garden are only exceeded by the food and service...

Paula W.

Yelp
New Year's Eve Dinner ! This place is the perfect date night and dinner was amazing. Service was on point and the atmosphere made it even better. We had the duck entree and sturgeon entree- both were great. Will def go back.

Smk27 M.

Yelp
Great service, amazing menu. A little difficult to find if you blink! Worth a visit

Deanna W.

Yelp
It kind of jumps out at you since its located at that weird part of Perkins. Just look for the yellow doors! The ambiance here is impeccable. I went here for a bridesmaid luncheon, but could definitely see this place being a GREAT venue for a rehearsal dinner. It teeters on the small side, but they have a great patio and a very open bar area with saucy lounging all around. As for the food. We got to try quite a few appetizers. Some of them were good, some not so much, but they all looked pretty if that counts for anything. The one I found most interesting was the steak with a peanut butter sauce. Definitely wasn't expecting that, but I'm a sucker for peanut butter. Their main courses are pretty big, or maybe they seemed big because we all had to fit in some saucy dresses and got a little full on those appetizers. My friend and I split the roasted chicken sandwich. It was very good. Everyones food looked great for that matter. I only asked to try a few, but most everything I tired, I liked. We each also got dessert. Y'all. I had to contain myself when it came to their spicy chocolate parfait. I wasn't too keen on the caramelized chex mix, but it still didn't keep me away from that chocolate and cookie dough :) I can't wait to go back when I can really splurge.

Eric S.

Yelp
Went for lunch. Service and food were excellent. Driven by 100 times and did not know it was there until My brother who lives down the street told me. I was impressed.

Carol M.

Yelp
Came here for lunch for a holiday party at work and I was surprised to see how few people were there. Based off mostly good reviews on here I assumed they would be very busy this time of year. The location is great but the signage is terrible so it's possible that it is just hard to find and know that it is a restaurant. Atmosphere and decor is hands down one of the best in Memphis, in my opinion. I feel like I'm hanging out in a lodge in the middle of nowhere. It's the details of the artwork, lighting, seating, etc. that really pull this together. If you are into the whole ambiance thing, then you must go here at least once. I ordered the Roasted Butternut Squash Soup served with a spicy cream sauce and the Grilled Cheese Sandwich. The soup was okay. But as soon as I mixed in the cream sauce, it went from just okay to great! The key is the mixing of the sauce. Duh! And I had such high hopes for my grilled cheese considering it has caramelized onions in it. However, it never made it past the okay mark mainly because the Cantal cheese that is used is just way to blah for me. I guess I'm a good ole southern girl that likes a grilled cheese made with either American or Cheddar cheese versus a fancy French cheese. Overall good experience for lunch and I will definitely be back for dinner in the near future. Or maybe just for drinks on the patio in the Spring!

Chelsea P.

Yelp
Beautiful location & interior at Acre! The crab cake appetizer was SO good, as were the cocktails we ordered before dinner. My husband and I both loved the duck breast entree, but I was less than impressed by my ribeye. The meat seemed super chewy/tough, and during my struggle to find edible pieces, the lights inside suddenly dimmed and I could barely differentiate good vs bad cuts to eat, which was my worst nightmare :) The service was great and they bring you REALLY good multigrain type bread with oil before your meal which is always a welcomed surprise. I do wish I would have enjoyed my meal a little more- even the sides (mashed potatoes and garlic broccoli) were just kind of blah.

Denise P.

Yelp
Acre is truly a hidden gem. Like, so hidden that I drove past it because there was an exit sign but no entrance sign lol. Regardless, this place is worth the find. The space is absolutely gorgeous - rustic, with a touch of elegant charm and absolutely perfect for a small wedding, which is why I visited. Staff was friendly and very informative. The food was also amazing. My options were limited as a veggie but everyone raved about the food and agreed the truffle mac and cheese alone was worth a second visit. I will definitely return to explore more of the menu and hopefully grab a seat on the adorable patio.

Cliff H.

Yelp
We rented the entire restaurant to host the rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding in Memphis. Acre provides a comfortable setting for a dinner for 75 people with excellent service from beginning to end. The planning went on for about a year and Margo, the event coordinator, was very responsive to my wife every step of the way. The restaurant is in what seems like a residence but has a great layout for a small event such as this where we were able to seat everyone in two different adjoined rooms. When it came time for the toasts, everyone was able to assemble in the main room. There is an outdoor patio that easily holds the 75 people and where we had a band to perform during the cocktail hour. Acre arranged the menu so that each dish had a Persian influence as my wife is from Iran. We had a very fine artichoke truffle soup followed by a shirazi salad. This was followed by our main courses served family style where we had salmon with spinach biryani, duck with eggplant sauce, lamb shanks and strip steak. Each were served on platters where our guests were able to pass around and enjoy. This was followed by a dessert plate with three different desserts. I can't emphasize enough the creativity and solid performance of the chef and kitchen staff at Acre. Margo provided very dependable advice and service in putting together all of the elements.
