"This South Broadway eatery offers a menu that changes almost daily, with unique twists on familiar dishes. Suddenly, beef cheek empanandas, gnocchi mac and cheese, and fried red tomato caprese are approachable but offer something interesting, too." - Rebecca Treon

Loved it!! The food was spectacular and the service just as good. My girlfriend and I showed up, looking to just try a new restaurant after moving. We were not really "dressed for the occasion" and no one batted an eye. We decided what the heck, let's just stay and give it a shot. The meatloaf was incredible and the potatoes were perfect! We were suggested the biscuits and man did they deliver. They come with a kind of salty whipped honey butter to put on them.. 😍 amazing The kale salad was amazing and like no other kale salad I've had. The kale was cut up perfectly and the Cesar dressing was top notch! 👌 The calamari was such an interesting touch and was not chewy at all and cooked to perfection. We will be back for sure!

We had been twice before...both occasions were exceptional. On this visit - the kitchen seemed a little off. We were one of two tables waiting to be served and it took 40 minutes for our appetizer to arrive. It arrived overcooked. When dinner arrived 30 minutes later, though my salmon risotto dish was delish- my husband's meatloaf was, again, overcooked and dry. The server was pleasant, they had a nice wine selection and the environment is comfortable. Maybe they were short handed in the kitchen...

Cozy environment, delightful staff and very tasty menu! Specials change daily but the Pork Sambiotia was a winner tonight! Proprietor, John - super friendly and we loved all the wine pairing recommendations! You won't be disappointed!

OMG! What a sweet spot on SW side! Service is excellent! Food is lick my fingers so delicious! Such a bright spot in our neighborhood!!! I have to apologize, I jumped on my trout so quick that I forgot to take picture... it was so captivating! I took pics from Neighboor tables. The owner, John, sources local ingredients daily. Lots of gluten free options. Highly recommend for a delicious night out!!!

We love Acres. It’s our go to place for special occasions like our anniversary or celebrating anything. If we lived closer we’d be regulars. You could spend a little or a lot and the service is excellent. Recommend the Idaho trout risotto , the back 40 chicken and the fried green tomato caprese.

Really nice selection of wines, and the service was done properly and was fairly priced. Waitress was personable and honestly seemed happy to be there. My friend was able to enjoy a gluten free meal with her celiac disease which was refreshing to be accommodated like that. Will definitely come back to try more of the menu. Overall a little pricey; only downfall.
