The Best Sushi Restaurants in Phoenix, Arizona

"As much a cocktail bar as a sushi bar, this sister spot to Clever Koi offers a limited (but decidedly fun) sushi menu in a sleek, modern space. Standouts from the sashimi and nigiri section are A5 wagyu, blow-torched salmon belly, and coffee-cured salmon, while the half-dozen sushi rolls are universally creative. It’s a favorite spot for date night, with the hours stretching until midnight on the weekends." - Nikki Buchanan, Eater Staff

Across the Pond is a hidden gem in Phoenix. The sushi was very good and fresh, high-quality, and beautifully plated. The menu had great variety, and the flavors were on point. The ambiance is intimate without being stuffy, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. Perfect for a date night or a casual dinner with friends. Highly recommend if you’re looking for top-tier sushi in the city. The clarified espresso martini was very different, but good. Spirit forward. If you like espresso martinis, give it a try.

We come here regularly. The menu is limited but the sashimi is always amazing and the ceviche is so good. The lime butter salmon is my favorite dish. The drinks aren’t bad either and I prefer the selection here to Clever Koi. Bring a sweater or jacket though because it’s always cold.

UPDATE 6/29/25 I am very pleased that clever koi management contacted me back and tried resolving my concerns. I decided to give ATP another try. This time I arrived exactly as they opened at 5PM for their summer hour. We were seated immediately and the service was very quick. We were checked up on by multiple people throughout our meal. This time we ordered a lot of nigiris and the lime butter salmon. The chef even gave me an extra piece of nigiri on the house. I felt very well taken care of. Everything we got was delicious and fresh. I understand most people’s concerns regarding the pricing but with their happy hour, I’d say the pricing is fair. For a company that really takes their customer’s opinions and concerns to heart and take the time to correct it- they deserve a 5 star from me. Old review: The food was decent but it took 20 minutes per dish to come out even though they were only nigiris. The cocktails were pretty good too. My only complaint is the food took way too long to come out, the server mixed up our order, and also we had a problem with our receipt too.

Google
My coworker suggested this place, so I decided to give it a try. They have a small menu, which simplifies the ordering process. Every dish we tried was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the Karai Hamachi, Slammin’ Salmon, and Coffee Cured Salmon. Their cocktail choices are excellent too; I especially liked the Salty Pog and Lemongrass Swizzle. The service was good, and I appreciated the cozy atmosphere. Due to its small size, I'd recommend making a reservation in advance.

Google
This restaurant has a gorgeous interior and features an interesting and creative menu. The cocktails were a true highlight—beautifully made and incredibly delicious. What truly impressed me the most was the great service the team provided. Overall a great experience!

One of my favorite places for sushi and sashimi in Phoenix. Small and intimate with dark lighting, ambience is great and music was good for the most part. The quality of fish is phenomenal, very fresh and tasty. Menu doesn’t change much but remain with high quality ingredients. The Salmon and Toro are my top picks. Ask about their specials! Presentation is simple but on point. Staff is always nice and knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients. I think the drinks could improve a little. Most were too sweet. Overall, a high quality sushi spot that you can try and go back to.

Google
I came here for the first time with a friend and we loved the drinks and sushi here. I got the berry white drink and it was so lovely. The service was excellent and the employees were so kind to us. I recommend coming here with friends for good food and drinks! My personal favorite dish was the Butter Lime Salmon! It’s worth it’s price and the taste!!! Please have reservations though!! We were lucky to have the bar area when we just walked in!

Google
They don’t have to go boxes… Not only do they not allow you to order food to go (fine), they won’t give you a box to take home food you couldn’t finish. And yes, you still have to pay for all the food you ordered. I’ve never seen a restaurant do this. It’s absurd enough that I will tell anyone I know who is thinking of going here that they don’t give the same opportunity to finish your food that most other restaurants give you. So if you like the idea of possibly just throwing money away, then sure go here. Or eat at the many other sushi restaurants in Phoenix that let you keep the food you paid for..

Yelp
Everything top to bottom was outstanding: food, drinks, but especially the service. I loved that it is a small place. I hate feeling like I have to shout to the person next to me when trying to enjoy a meal. I also hate crowds, rude strangers, and being bumped into. Definitely not an issue here :) Can't wait to visit again!

Yelp
This place is really good!! Didn't give 5 stars because is very gourmet compared to the price. But they do have a lot of drink options, the vibes are really cool. For our order they took forever but we were given free drinks and the wait was worth. Ill def be coming back to try other options in their menu

Yelp
MAKE Reservations!! A must, we didn't and ended up waiting an entire hour. Which makes sense it was a Friday night. We were dressed cozy but most people were dressy or on dates. Cute spot for dates. Definitely a vibe. We especially loved the BlueFin Flight and the Coffee Cured Salmon. Drinks were extra yummy! The one I got was the big little Tokyo or something like that. Sat at the bar, and the staff were friendly. Will return.

Yelp
Across the pond is located next to Clever Koi decided to stop by for drinks. I have to say, the restaurant is lovely. The drink menu has a good variety and the staff were welcoming. I got the salty pog, I'm such a fiend for passionfruit, so I really enjoy it. I can't say much about their food since we only came in for drinks, I hope to try their food menu next time!

Yelp
Got a chance to try Across the Pond last night and I had a great experience! Walking in, the restaurant has an upscale vibe to it and has elegant decor. It's definitely a good spot for a date or going to hangout with some friends. It's also located next to the clever Koi and George and Dragon, so if you're waiting to be seated, you can grab a drink there. Also the staff are very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. They offered great recommendations, especially when it came to their specials and drinks. I ordered their honest liar drink and their yellowtail and slammin salmon rolls. They were really flavorful and the portions were a good size. We also ordered their salmon and wagyu nigiri and both were delicious as well. Overall very solid sushi spot and will definitely come back again!

Yelp
We have been here a few times and really love it. Service is wonderful. Cocktails (and mocktail i got) were delicious! Their bartender makes well shaken drinks for sure. The slammin salmon is just the absolute best - we have tried them all but we can't help ourself getting seconds of this one every time. I also like the soft shell crab roll and sis got salmon sashimi as well. Vibe inside is small and moody. Happy hour is 20% off your bill from 5-6 pm.

Yelp
Across the Pond delivers some solid dishes, but a few missteps kept it from being truly exceptional. The shrimp ceviche was enjoyable, but I was disappointed by the lack of avocado--there was only one piece in the entire dish. The soft-shell crab and yellowtail rolls were unconventional yet flavorful, with the buttery texture of the yellowtail roll being a standout. The coffee-cured salmon was bold and robust, while the shiromi was the highlight of my meal--the pairing with lemon and sea salt was simple but outstanding. The atmosphere was another strong point, with well-thought-out lighting and a pleasant overall vibe. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. Our waiter spoke too quickly, making them hard to understand, and their aloof, condescending demeanor detracted from the experience. While the food shows promise, the service issues made it hard to fully enjoy my visit.

Yelp
Probably the best sushi I have eaten all year ! The tru toro, uni rolls, saki (unfiltered of course) and crab rolls were my fav . The service was great! Besides having to wait for 30 mins I dont have any complaints (we didnt have a reservation) the pickled wasabi and wasabi rue was delightful. I can honestly say I enjoyed every single bite here
google avatar

Yelp
amazing sushi and amazing cocktails. a more fine dining small restaurant but always a great vibe. Good service.

Yelp
It was a Saturday night sushi date with two of my good friends. I made a reservation on OpenTable and was able to get any time slot. It was not too busy which was nice but kind of surprising being that this place was incredible. Our server was amazing he recommended the best cocktails tailored to our liquor choice and gave specific recommendations for dinner. We ordered the shrimp ceviche, yellowtail roll, salmon roll, soft shell crab roll (the best), and the sashimi sampler. We shared everything family style which I highly recommend. There were 3 of us and we didn't even finish all the food. All the food was outstanding but I HIGHLY recommend the soft shell crab roll this was the highlight of the night. I ordered a mezcal cocktail which was delicious and my favorite out of all the cocktails we had even though all of them were amazing. I will definitely be back this is the perfect spot for a friends dinner or date night.

Yelp
Server was clean, nice and representable. The ambience is amazing and cool, and the drinks were spot on and generous. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
An unexpected hit! I was supposed to meet a friend at Clever Koi. It was quite a wait so went over to Across the Pond to have a drink. I'm started with the Commitment issues. Definitely a distinctive taste but just a one drink for me. I found something more to my liking the Berry White. Very good I also had two of the soft crab rolls and loved them. Definitely will be back soon. Fun vibe here.

Yelp
Haven't had time to do a full review for quite a while and I'm still just as busy, so I'm just gonna try and make this as swift as possible. This review is for a dinner I had way back in September, so all of this is merely from faint memories. In short, everything was good. Surprisingly fresh. The coffee-cured salmon was quite an experience. If only it was a tad less salty, it would've been up there with some of the best nigiris ever devised. The uni hand roll was surprisingly cheap for what you get as well. It is real uni, not a bad amount, and the balance of flavors was great. Honestly though, the thing that deserved mentioning the most is the chill vibe. Real nice jazzy café vibes in the middle of the desert. Makes you feel like you're in a big city for once. The fact that it's pretty empty compared to the "main branch" of Clever Koi across the... alley also helped. Unfortunately, there didn't seem to be a pond. Quite a missed opportunity, if you ask me. Seriously, the vibe couldn't be put into words. If you're an urbanite like me, you just gotta experience the magic. Not sure if most people 'round the area would. I grew up in a busy place, so. Taste-wise, it's like hovering around the 4-4.5 stars range. But just because of the vibe and the locale, I'm gonna give this the full A-tier. All my other sushi misadventures in Phoenix were atrocious, to say the least. Across the Pond was quite a nice change of pace. I'll be back. Someday.

Yelp
If you are looking for a new sushi spot, this is it! I was a little hesitant when I looked at the menu, because it is limited, but I was wrong! What they do offer is absolutely delicious. The fish is fresh and the flavors are out of this world. I loved the little bit of garlic crunch on top of the yellowtail roll and the Slammin salmon was so tasty. The soft shell crab was not my favorite roll just because it felt like it was a rice overload. Although we did not try the cocktails, I did peek at other tables' drinks- they looked delicious and the menu read really well. It is dimly lit, so it is good for a date night. The space is really small- reservations are highly recommended. It is a little chilly in there, definitely bring a jacket if you get cold easily. I'm so glad my friend recommended a coat or else I would've froze. Service is attentive and fast.

Yelp
Delicious! The drinks are so good i haven't had one that I don't like. I recommend the ceviche for appetizer and a few rolls. The veggie one was my favorite Great ambience and great spot for happy hour from 5-6

Larry V.

Yelp
We have been coming here for years. Best sushi in town. Coffee cured salmon is to die for. The servers are consistently excellent. This is not "fast food" so don't come if you are in a rush.
google avatar

Yelp
Ambiance is beautiful and sexy. Great place for a date. Service is wonderful and the bartenders are always having a good time with great conversation. The food is decent. The sushi is good don't get me wrong but the price for what you get could be better. Only reason it's not 5 stars is because of that

Yelp
Welcome to 2023! It's super tough to rate any non vegan spot for me, mostly because my opinion is solely based on the only *vegan option on the menu, the *one vegetable roll. It's mostly on me for not previewing the menu, but most sushi spots have a couple of options, some sort of veggie tempura, sides of veg, etc. This is about as no frills of a menu that you'll find at any sushi spots in town, perhaps that's closer to traditional as you'll find from a spot plucked straight from Japan, but it was interesting as a non-meat eater to see very few options. With all that said, this was one of the best vegetable rolls I've had from any sushi place in Phoenix. While I wouldn't call myself a sushi restaurant connoisseur, I have been to six or seven in the past couple of years and, you guessed it, had their veggie rolls, avocado rolls, etc. So not every spot in town, but enough to sing the praise of the vegetable roll from Across the Pond. At one point the server told me there was an off menu avocado roll I could order, so I ordered an additional vegetable roll and an avocado roll to go with it. Yes, it too was one of the best versions of an avocado roll I've had in the valley. Vegans, don't be terribly scared to dine here, but beware the ONLY option are the drinks, the vegetable roll and the off menu avocado roll. It was all super tasty, just don't expect any apps or sides to go along with your meal.

Yelp
Stopped in to have a drink before dinner at their sister restaurant. The drinks and the service were amazing and the food I saw them dishing up will definitely bring me back for another visit!

Yelp
Very nice cocktail bar. Go if you want to focus on the drinks rather than the food. Although both the food and drink selections are fantastic the food menu is on the small side. Everything we ordered was great. We especially loved the Slammin salmon and the shrimp ceviche. We weren't disappointed with anything. I ordered a berry white and a salty dog and enjoyed both. I tend to like a sweeter "froofy" cocktail and I would order both of these again. I'm also impressed by how complex these tasted. It's disappointing when I order something at a bar and I immediately know I can make a better version myself at home. These drinks are good & I would not be able to replicate them with what I keep stocked at home. Several others in my party prefer to feel the burn and ordered stronger drinks (no fruit allowed). I gathered that they were impressed as well. So. Nice place, nice service, great drinks, elevated food selection appropriate for a night out with friends or a date (if you don't mind it being a little noisy). Recommend.

Yelp
I'm already a Clever Koi lover (owned by the same company) so when my friends recommended this place I was excited to try it! Let me tell you, Across the Pond is no joke! Seafood is my favorite and their sushi is delicious, flavorful, and fresh. It's quality sushi at a great price. The ambiance of the restaurant is totally a vibe, it's dark and moody - so great place for a date night or night out with friends. The service was fantastic too - it took a while for our sushi rolls to come out so the server gave us a roll on the house (super sweet). I'm a sucker for good sushi, a good vibe, and good service. Also, you MUST get their Slammin' Salmon roll and Waygu sashimi roll.. heaven in your mouth!
google avatar

Yelp
Knocked it out of the ballpark fabulous experience! My friend and I needed to get out and looked for a place open a little later - many restaurants close at 10 o'clock, even on weekends. I suggested this location as I had been wanting to visit and heard such great feedback. It did not disappoint. The food was exceptional, the service was great, ambience was spectacular. I can't say enough about my experience, both my friend and I give our rating 150%! We will definitely be back. Oh, and the cocktail was
google avatar

Natasha A.

Yelp
Great drinks, fresh atmosphere & food! We had the Open Sesame, and Golden Child for drinks which were both very well-balanced and smooth. For food we had the Spicy Yellowtail Roll and the Slammin' Salmon Roll. The yellowtail roll was good, but the salmon roll was better: melt-in-your-mouth-goodness! Parking is the same lot for George & Dragon in the back. Bonus tip: Come between 5pm to 6pm for 20% off of your bill.
google avatar

Alex R.

Yelp
I'm usually skeptical eating raw fish in the desert, but luckily I was proved wrong when dining here at Across The Pond. Everything was delicious! The salmon sashimi was out of this world! Butter salmon, omg. The bottles of cold sake were good and reasonably priced. Thanks ATP for doing sushi right! If I ever find my way in Phoenix again, I will surely be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Took myself to across the pond for happy hour today, and was not disappointed. The service was top-notch, and the rules were absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend. Lots of cool drinks.!
google avatar

Lois B.

Yelp
Excellent happy hour. Drinks were much better this time and the sushi was delicious and fresh! We can't wait to come back again. The uni hand roll was my favorite and satisfied my uni cravings. Service was also fantastic as always and the ambiance was perfect for date night. Great job!
google avatar

Zach S.

Yelp
I cannot believe I haven't reviewed this place!! This is literally my wife and I's favorite date night spot in the Valley!! The drinks and sushi are absolutely fantastic and you will not be disappointed!!
google avatar

O'Zandra F.

Yelp
Nice experience overall. I visited after work on a Thursday. The staff was so attentive, recommending drinks and dishes. My palate could tell that the ceviche and roll were made with the finest ingredients. I love the passion the bartenders have when crafting each drink. The facility is great for date night... dark and cozy!!

Melissa D.

Yelp
Interesting place, next to (and owned by) the Clever Koi next door. Cool moody vibe, small place, more of a bar that serves sushi vs a sushi place with a bar. Nice date night spot. Service is exceptional, efficient but not intrusive. Ambiance is urban chic. Menu is limited but thoughtful. Our party ordered a variety of rolls and nigiri. Here's the thing - the food is creatively prepared with interesting sauces. It's aesthetically pleasing, and tasty. But....it's all umami-heavy, with that rich, smoky mouth feel. If you're a sushi connoisseur, you appreciate the variety of tastes - a fresh, sharp yellowtail, the sweet, melty eel, the fatty ahi. Here, everything from salmon to soft-shell crab to tempura shrimp tastes very similar. Fresh ginger would have been nice as a palate cleanser between dishes but is not offered. We've had sushi everywhere from Hawaii to Vancouver, and all over the West Coast (including Nobu Malibu which was pretty amazing) so we've had some truly exceptional offerings. This was ok but not exceptional. Prices were reasonable, comparable to other mid-level sushi bars. Four stars for service, ambiance, and presentation. Food gets 3 stars because it all tasted the same.
google avatar

Kirstyn G.

Yelp
Such a great spot! They really take both their cocktails and their sushi seriously and it shows! Service is friendly and fast and it's reasonably priced. We love sitting at the bar and watching them make the sushi. It's really an art for them! It's a smaller place but it's really charming and worth the wait then there is one.
google avatar

Courtney C.

Yelp
I'll just come in hawwwt and say that ATP is the #1 spot for that late night/date night sushi...! They boss up Phoenix with their exceptionally curated menu picks and market specials. Credible and consistent delivery on menu items is notable - every time I've described a dish and brought a friend, it was exactly as I'd recalled and explained. Drinks are well crafted - flavor profiles thoughtful, balanced alc content as it should be, with no filler - libations on point. The decor, ambiance, and crowd is killer. Def a hot spot for Happy Hour, of which they offer both midday and late night. :) Staff is awesome - shout out to Emily! Love this place and will return over and over again...!

Yelp
I felt dismayed after traveling from N Scottsdale to Clever Koi to find there was a 45 minute wait for dinner. Too long too wait around, but too short to drive to nearby Lux Central for an espresso martini. Luckily, over the bridge we went to "Across the Pond" a cool, hipster cocktail/sushi bar, and a sister restaurant contiguous to Clever Koi. I'm typically not a cocktail guy, but there were several drinks that stood out. I tried "Riding the Pine" which was Gin, Lime, and passion fruit based. Although we were only there for approximately 45 minutes, the music stood out and the vibes were right on Saturday night. Fabulous, Ja Rule, and Lloyd never get old. I was really feeling it. If I had another cocktail it might have gotten a little crazy in there. When our table was ready at Clever Koi we were able to "walk across the pond" with our drinks and enjoyed a 4 star dinner.

Yelp
I have been meaning to try this joint since I live about 5 min away and am so glad I finally got around to it! It is an absolute gem with great vibes inside and delicious drinks and sushi! My cocktail, the Berry White, was literally one of my favorite cocktails I've ever had. My boyfriend got the Suntory Sling (I think) which was also amazing. They have 20% off your entire tab every day from 5-6pm which is awesome!! My favorite food item we got was the Slammin Salmon with the beautiful sauce that looks like its paint dripping. We also got the blue fin tuna roll, coffee cured salmon, and ebi-ten roll, all very yummy. I also tried a piece of the uni magic carpet which I would say is not worth $10 for one bite but maybe I'm just not an uni person. 10/10 recommend this place, you definitely get what you pay for which is high quality, delicious, and creatively presented sushi!
google avatar

Stacey D.

Yelp
Very nice bar, love the ambiance the staff were very hospitable. I only stopped there for drinks but they also have sushi and rolls which looked delicious. I highly recommend making reservations this place is booked out quickly!
google avatar

Oscar L.

Yelp
This is a small, but cute spot. The nigiri and rolls are fresh. Really great place to take someone out on a date. Would definitely recommend it. The photos of the spot speak for themselves. You can't go wrong with Across The Pond. Very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable wait staff. Would definitely visit again sometime in the future.
google avatar

Yelp
the cocktails are amazing ! food is excellent, Gentleman , want a beautiful quant hip spot to take your girl on an relaxing enjoyable stress free date? look no further than Across The Pond!
google avatar

Lydia A.

Yelp
Came here to wait for a spot to open up at clever koi. Got two drinks at the bar and they were delicious! The vibe is perfect for a date night and they have HH from 5-6 and at 9pm onwards on the weekend. They had a lot of unique cocktails and the bartender was friendly and answered all my questions. Looking forward to coming back and trying all the cocktails

Josh P.

Yelp
First time I went to ATP was in 2019, and since then not a single sushi restaurant has even come close to the mark. I would say from worst to best: sushi Brokers, Uchi, Roka, and at number one you have Across the Pond. Actually, I shouldn't even put Sushi Brokers on here because it's just straight disappointing and an insult to Sushi. The gap from second to ATP is substantial too. One of the stand out attributes ATP possesses is the attentiveness of their servers. They will tell you all about the dishes and ingredients no matter how busy. You'll get pairings and every one of their staff know the menu inside and out. This is a warning, only go to ATP if you want your standards to rise. Because nothing will ever compare.
google avatar

sabrina b.

Yelp
I surprisingly LOVED this place. We had great service. The drinks were delicious, the appetizer was the perfect amount, and our sushi rolls were so good. I'm a sushi lover and have tried multiple places in Arizona so when it's good, it's good. The vibe in here is awesome as well.

Monica C.

Yelp
If there's a way to give more than 5 stars, Across the Pond would get it. We have been coming here for over 3 year now and it never fails to disappoint. The food and drinks are always amazing and just melt in your mouth. We had the omakase and it was truly a magical experience. Across the Pond has ruined all other sushi places for us. After you come here, nothing else will ever be able to compete.
google avatar

Sabree C.

Yelp
The food at this restaurant is amazing. It's a small intimate place but it's is worth the visit. The only downside is they were really busy the night we went and they were not adequately staffed for the number of patrons in the restaurant.
google avatar

Brady B.

Yelp
Been coming frequently to ATP for the past year or so and it is truly one of the best spots for sushi, fish dishes, and a great vibe in the valley. The staff is also amazing and very educated on all menu items. If you're willing to spend a little more for a date night for a great time and some even better cocktails, ATP is your spot.
google avatar

Cameron S.

Yelp
Definitely our go-to spot for craft cocktails in PHX! The bartenders are super cool and mix their drinks generously. The creativity and flavor combos in their cocktails is next level. 5 stars for ATP!

Bill R.

Yelp
This place was amazing! Wonderful service and the food was top notch. Great creativity with a delicious taste end-result!
google avatar

Nathan C.

Yelp
Really really good. Go early because they get slammed and food takes too long to come out. But when it does, boy is it worth the wait. Ambiance is nice, probably 30 seats, not too loud.
google avatar

Mark A.

Yelp
Very good service but Quirky and hyper expensive menu. Very dark with very loud hip hop music playing. Manager got us seated at the sister restaurant across the corridor where we were much happier.
google avatar

Selah S.

Yelp
Hands down the best sushi we've ever had. We enjoy sushi from coast to coast and this sushi was fresh, tasty and unique. The sushi chef pays attention to detail. If you sit at the bar, you'll see how he meticulously hand picks each piece of fish. He also educated us on how to properly eat each piece. All the sauces are made in house, and the fish is seasoned to perfection. The drinks were unique and holy cow, they were amazing. It is definitely one of those places where everyone is informed on the drinks and food and can make you something you'll love. 10/10 we will be back and ready to order whatever the chef thinks we should eat!
google avatar

Kelsey A.

Yelp
This is the absolute best nigiri I have ever had in the Valley, hands down. It is unbelievably fresh and melt-in-your-mouth. They source the fish daily from all over the world and I can't even begin to describe how perfect every bite is. Pretty unbelievable actually! We went back 3 weekends in a row I think lol. While I agree with the other reviewer that the sushi takes a while, I wouldn't give this place 1 star based on that. In my opinion, it is part of the charm (you can literally see like 1 guy hand-preparing all of the sushi by hand for the entire restaurant, they are like works of art!) and it makes for a lovely, slow evening where you can relax and enjoy the company of the people you are with. I personally enjoy the family style, but this isn't your typical sushi restaurant if you are looking for a huge variety of rolls or you are in a hurry. The cocktails are equally delicious and unique, and the service is great. Everyone is super friendly and you can tell they are all tight-knit as well. Highly recommend reservations, as it's a smaller spot and definitely fills up. Across The Pond, you are simply the BEST! Keep doin' what you're doin'!

Yelp
Walking through these doors to Across the Pond made me feel like I was transported to another era and other place. Perhaps, south Florida but in the 70s in a good way! I was excited about coming here because one of my close friends had been here last week so I wanted to try it out after seeing his photos! Our bartender was way knowledgable and creative so any cocktail desires were not limited to the already enticing libations on their menu. I enjoyed Enabler since it was bourbon based. The Suntory Sling and Golden Child were also unique and good! My husband ordered the Omikase, chef's choice, which he really enjoyed! It's about 4 courses over an hour and a half! It gives you ample time to enjoy the food and their cocktails. My friend and I shared the Karai hamachi, the soft shell crab roll, the spicy lobster roll, and some nigiri. The coffee cured salmon nigiri was delightful as was their snapper nigiri. Even their soy sauce was aged in maple barrels so there was a hint of sweetness to the saltiness of the soy sauce. Tiny little details are the key to this restaurant in flavors, unique cocktails and modern twist on sushi, as well as the decor. The service was smooth, friendly, and just right - never rushed and never slow. We felt very "at home" at this special spot. You should definitely try it!
