"Perhaps inspired by similarly situated dwellings on the island of Santorini, Acro Suites brings cliffside romance and carved-rock drama to the north coast of Crete. This adults-only resort-style luxury boutique hotel is the smaller and more reserved sister to the Sea Side Resort, right next door — an arrangement that allows Acro Suites’ guests to use Sea Side’s substantial facilities, but not the other way around." - Mark Fedeli

Our experiences at the Acroterra Resort were top class. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. They were courteous, always smiling and welcoming. The view from breakfast was stunning as was the view from the pool. The suites are large and well appointed. Thoroughly recommend this establishment. Big shout out to Jimmy who looked after us very well in the bar and Nasos who looked after us by the pool. In fact all the staff were superb.

Just returned from this truly wonderful hotel. Absolutely fabulous staff are the real stars of the show!! Breakfast was very good, a little samey after 10 days but overall it kept us happy. The lunch and dinner menu was delicious and the cocktails at the bar were gorgeous. Room was spacious with a separate bathroom. Only concern with the room is that there was no door on the shower so I tended to flood the bathroom each time I showered. The road right next to the hotel didn't bother us at all. The views made up for any noise, the views were outstanding. Overall wonderful hotel, would highly recommend.

Really enjoying our stay the suites are spacious and beautifully appointed. All the staff are well trained and very helpful. Breakfast is great with a large variety. The only slight downside is a road runs past the pool it this didn’t bother us at all. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. The local village is small with good restaurants and a general store. It’s a quiet spot away from the crowds and cruise ship visitors

This luxury hotel really has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday. Big spacious suites with a hot tub or pool. Nice size gym and a big pool with a jacuzzi. An amazing view and a lovely spa area to relax in offering many types of therapy’s. The location is great with parking and the restaurant offers a wide selection of meals from breakfast lunch or dinner.

Absolutely the best. We had a fantastic two weeks. All the hotel was spotlessly clean and everyone was extremely helpful. The room was large and comfortable with the welcome bottle of wine a really nice touch. Spa treatments with Irene were very pleasant and just what was needed to relax into a holiday.|The restaurant and pool looking out over Santorini's caldera provided excellent views at all times of day. Being in Akrotiri it was also quieter in general than the other end of the island around Fira and Oia but still provided easy access to the road network that could take you everywhere.|Special mention to all the staff. Everyone was really friendly -|Reception - Kate, Nektarios, Fenia, George|Spa - Irene|Restaurant and bar - Julio, Konstantinos, Vaggelis, Carlos, Nick, Jimmy, Katerina|Kitchen - Miltos, Olga, Nektarios|Housekeeping - Christina

Like need some more versatile on the breakfast and inside the room need a tea or coffee making facilities..all other things is fine. If anyone wants to go to the city. Don't need a taxi. Local bus is only 2€ pp

The photos on Google plus the website gives just a taste of this wonderful hotel. Akrotiri is a very quiet almost unspoiled part of Santorini. This place would suit a couple of friends who want to simply unwind. The local village with a few restaurants and shops is 5mins walk away. And if the need takes you there is a bus every half hour to Thira. Acroterra is unbusy. Well staffed. Everyone is super friendly and you can tell it's genuine. Checkin was quick and shown to our room. This was on the ground floor with a small balcony and table and chairs that gave a spectacular view out over the caldera to Thira and Oia. The pool and balconies face north so didn't get sun there unfortunately but I guess in summer you'd get early morning and sunset in the evening. The room was superb and beautifully clean. Bed was super king and very comfortable with ample soft and medium pillows. Sockets for chargers etc at each side Good Aircon. Bathroom had a massive walkin shower and good size sink and vanity. Room safe and a sink with counter and fridge hidden behind louvred doors. The hotel has a clean and modernist feel with the beautifully finished gardens and walkways contuing the clean feel. The restaurant is nice with an open view out over the pool and sun terrace to the caldera. The menu is simple but food was wonderful. We thought breakfast was good with a mix of cooked and fresh fruit breads and cuts to suit everyone. Staff attentive and coffee great. The bar is a little bit of a benign island. You wouldn't want to sit in there. Felt that there could be more of a comfy seat option to sit out on the terrace. Great selection of drinks and wines with several Santorini faves. In fact all the wines on offer were greek. Talking with the staff you find that they all have there own room in the staff quarters and have meals provided. They feel the owners treat them well which means they return season after season. That happiness came through in the genuine and open presence they had. One drawback may be the road that passes by but traffic is light. And quite frankly in the med you get used to the Vespas eh...? All in all a beautiful and friendly place that is most definitely highly recommended

I definitely recommend the Acroterra Rosa to anyone coming to Santorini: it is a modern hotel with all the facilities you would expect, the service is top quality, the staff is friendly and courteous. The Caldera view is spectacular, you can enjoy the tranquility of Akrotiri while being a few minutes away from all the points of interest in the island.
