Actually Pretty Good - Bankview

Love this spot so much. All the pizzas are delicious. I also love that they have feature pizzas which are great. We sat in and were served by Yasmin who was super friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back!

Came here for the 1st time. Had this Mediterranean pizza and some garlic fingers. Food was amazing and the vibe of the place is nice. And our server Yasmin was amazing and super friendly. She gave us good recommendations as we are vegetarians. Will be back again

One of the best tomato sauces I've tasted but either it is too oily or the crust in the middle is too thin causing the slice to lose structural integrity. The Bolognese was also exceptional. Never tried that on pizza before.

We tried Actually Pretty Good Pizza on a recent trip to Calgary. It was recommended by a few people. The service was good, we went into order and the pizza didn’t take long. The prices were somewhat higher especially considering the size of the pizzas are about 12”. We decided on the garlic fingers, the Full Nelson and the Hoser. The toppings all worked very well together, all tasted fresh as did the cheese. The dough was good, nicely cooked but did taste somewhat dry. Overall they were well made pizzas and tasted great. Definitely check out APG Pizza if you are in the area.

Easily some of the best I’ve had. My order came out hot, fresh, and fast. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving delicious pizza. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Absolutely loved our visit to Actually Pretty Good in Bankview! The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us—even with renovations going on. And the pizza? Definitely better than “pretty good” — it was fantastic! Great vibe, great people, and seriously great pizza. Can’t wait to go back.

Actually Pretty Good is Actually Pretty Great This is a handy neighbourhood spot; we eat here regularly. Their pizza is one of the best in the city, the crust has a nice bite and they feature a great selection of toppings. The green salad and meatballs make for nice starters that you can easily share, and they have a good choice of local craft beers on offer. If you choose to eat in, the service is always pleasant and timely. Special shout out to Yasmin, our waitress last Friday evening. She was great.

We have been to Actually Pretty Good a few times - most recently with relatives that came in from Toronto. Karmen was wonderful to have a table for 5 of us ready to go. Her service that night was very appreciated and excellent. Our beverages were well made and she always has a smile. The food was delicious and exactly as ordered. I really appreciate the gluten free option too. Keep up the great work APG.

Hey, this place is actually pretty good!! I ordered the Full Nelson pizza with their gluten free crust and was very pleased. The crust seemed homemade or at least not as cardboard-like as many gluten free options! It was a little chewy with crispy but not burnt edges. I loved that the prosciutto was chopped up and distributed throughout the pizza instead of just placed on top. The honey garlic sauce drizzle gave it just the right amount of sweetness. It was even great the next day as leftovers. I'm not a huge pizza fan but I can confidently say this is one of the best pizzas I've had recently. The restaurant is located inside of First Street Market which has a number of great options. You order at the counter and then can choose from a variety of places to sit. There is even a lovely looking bar located inside the market. If I find myself in Calgary again this is definitely a spot I'd like to come back to!

The gluten-free vegan pizza was excellent! I enjoyed the pizza while visiting cousins in Calgary. Wish we had a location here in Detroit, Michigan!

It actually wasn't great. Added pepperoni to the margarita and got one or two pepperonis per slice. Let's say two to be generous, that was $5 for 12 pepperoni slices. It arrived soggy and greasy, as other reviews on DoorDash mentioned. The burrata was excessively salted and peppery. No napkins or anything else included. The whole meal was just meh.

Great pizza. Agree with previous positive comments. Worth a visit if you are in the area. Would recommend any of the menu.

APG was recommended to us by our Airbnb host and we're so glad we tried! The pizza wasn't just pretty good, it was amazingly good! (Try the hot honey to dip the crust in!) Super cute environment, friendly staff, I would highly recommend!

As a big fan of ODB I was excited to try actually pretty good. I will say it did not disappoint! For my long(ish) time Calgarians this is the closest thing I've tasted to bocce! The pizza always tastes fresh while still offering that nostalgic taste we all know and love. I would give recommendations but you seriously cannot go wrong!

Food is always great. We love the full Nelson pizza, have tried other flavors and the don't disappoint! Staff is always nice and helpful.

Coming from a las vegas local, I would TOTALLY give this place a 10 star review!!!! OH MY GOSH! THIS WAS LITERALLY THE HIGHLIGHT OF OUR DAY. We had the full Nelson pizza, the hot wings, and the sangria. Everything had an amazing, exquisite flavor to it. Katlyn was our server and she made our life so amazing in the little time we met her. We love her and we loved this cute little place!!! When we come back to Calgary this will be number one on our list!!!!

The food was actually really good. The service was great. We loved the crust on the pizza- airy and crispy and full of flavour. We also had wings with the house sauce and they were sooo good. Good choice of dipping sauces and local beers, too. We are not from Calgary, but we wish we had a place like this where we live.

As a proud Italian male who is highly critical of great pizza I have to say APG absolutely nailed it and I would highly recommend this place to people looking for fantastic pizza. It is more than just pretty good they should consider a name change to actually VERY good.

Zero stars if that was an option to choose ! We just visited the Bankview location as a group of 4 people. One of our group has a concussion and asked for the music to be turned down as the volume of sound was making her feel unwell. We asked numerous times, the music would turn down momentarily and then be turned up again apparently by the chef Chris. The waitresses said he was upset the music was being asked to turn down. We asked to see him in person, he was busy and couldn't leave the kitchen. We asked the waitresses why an accommodation couldn't be made for 1 hour of service. They had no answer for that. There are enough restaurants in Calgary interested in their client's welfare, go somewhere people appreciate your business! The pizza itself had soggy ends. Go elsewhere to spend your hard earned money!!

Serieously delicious flavour parties, bite feel and for the GF/DF/vegan crowd, there was no disappointment! Have returned, recommended & def go back! Please open a location in the NW!

Calgary doesn't have a shortage of amazing pizza, but this place takes the pie!! I had the Buffalo chicken & the charred pineapple pizza and the whole family agreed it's the new go-to! Get the side sauces, those things are incredible!

Grease wheel and a kale ceasar salad is just about the best thing you can get in/around the marda loop area. The whole place looks like it was dipped in paint inside which is beautiful. Cant stay away from the $15 specials on Mondays.
