The 12 Best Restaurants In Camden - London - The Infatuation

"Hidden underneath the arches close to Camden Road station, this Mexican delivery-only restaurant deserves to see the light. The breakfast menu is excellent—chilaquiles with gooey eggs, molletes with sourdough, and huevos rancheros. We also think about the smoky, finely ground chorizo and Yucateco-style pork tacos (slow-cooked in orange and achiote paste) almost daily. While you can’t order in person or have it delivered further than Camden, you can order via any of the major delivery apps to collect from the address itself, and then head to St. Martin’s Gardens for a bench." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak, sinead cranna

The Best Nachos In London

"We’re calling these the gourmet nachos. Before you eye roll yourself out of this guide, hear us out. The tortilla chips are thick, made from scratch, hand-cut, and fried in-house. They hold up against even the greediest of scoops. And they’re crunchy. Like, had us worried about the filling we’re putting off getting, crunchy. Acuarela is a Mexican, delivery-only restaurant close to Camden Road station. If you don’t live nearby, you can collect, and it’s worth it. They use tangy queso fresco crumbled on top, along with diced tomatoes and a big serving of refried black beans. We did find these a bit dry, but that was easily offset by adding smoky, finely ground chorizo and slow-cooked Yucateco-style pork. " - sinead cranna

Acuarela - Review - Camden - London - The Infatuation

"There’s a reason dark kitchens are also known as ghost kitchens. They can be soulless, faceless places where average, lukewarm food is shipped out. Not Acuarela. Hidden underneath the arches close to Camden Road station, this Mexican delivery-only restaurant deserves to see the light. The breakfast menu is excellent—chilaquiles with gooey eggs, mollete with sourdough. But don’t stop there. We think about the smoky, finely ground chorizo and Yucateco-style pork, slow-cooked in orange and achiote paste, almost daily. You could happily order these and six other tacos, or go for chunky burritos and pillowy la torta buns. All are brilliant. While you can’t order in person or have it delivered further than Camden, you can order via Deliveroo to collect from the address itself. It’s worth the slight logistical tetris. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch" - Sinéad Cranna

The food here is absolutely incredible. We’ve been twice in a few weeks and is just so good! Highly recommend the pulled pork torta and the amigo❤️

I learnt about this business via Deliveroo monthly offer code they accept, what a great stop for Mexican food. Tortillas are not paper thin like anywhere else, so they won't fall apart when you grab them. Amigo is a XXL folded tortilla one with your preferred filling. They also do tortas and some desserts. Definitely recommended if you're fed up with copy-paste menus at overpriced Mexican kiosks, Kudos to Acuarela!

The food from this restaurant left me speechless! It was delicious, the portions are very generous and you can notice that the ingredients are of very high quality. I ordered quite a few times now and I surely will continue to do so! This guys put so much love, passion and effort on what they do, I have no doubt they’ll become popular sooner than later.

The most authentic homemade taste food I have ever bought in London! To clarify, I rarely write reviews on anything, however, this place well deserves a good one, as their Mexican food is delightful. I am get used to eating at home and I hardly will go out to eat, instead, I would rather eat homemade and healthy food, but this kitchen is another level of quality. I have ordered a few times already, and I truly can say I haven't been disappointed at all, by the contrary, not only the dishes are superb, but also the packeting and the details that these guys put in every bag and personalized card are outstanding. So far, I have ordered tacos, burritos, Mexican Burgers (tortas), rice bowls, and deserts... and I couldn't suggest one over the other, to make it worst, these guys time by time have launched some "Specials" such as the "Tacos al Diablo" (Evil's tacos that mean spicy prawns tacos) and Salt-Tequila lemon cake... (already my mouth is watering) which take me to cloud nine! In a nutshell: affordable, delicious, and the portions are big enough. Strongly recommended! P.S: I have ordered a couple of times cakes for different social events at work, and this cake has made me the soul of the party! Also, don't forget to ask for "Agua de Jamaica", a sweet-bitter intense-red natural drink, very nice!
