How José Andrés’s World Central Kitchen Is Feeding Migrants at the Border | Eater Austin
"I saw that many migrants were forced to live in squalid makeshift shelters under the Del Rio International Bridge, where they waited to be deported or relocated for processing; the bridge area became a focal point for humanitarian aid and meal distribution until the site was officially closed on Friday, September 24." - Nadia Chaudhury
This is a good crossing , very safe an fast to get across , nothing like going across in Brownsville to Matamoras..
As soon as you cross the bridge it's just a quiet little town with lots of shops and places to eat very nice here's some pictures when I was going down the road.

One thing I can tell people that visit this place for first time, you will need 75 cents to cross into mex.

Long lines and they don't keep people from cutting in line

Very Long Lines to get back across to USA/TEXAS. The personal are only using 3 of the 6 Ports of Entra. That's the reason you have to wait in line for 1 hour 25 minutes to get back into USA/TEXAS. What a ridiculous way to conduct business.

It gets kids long lines at times, but there are times they move pretty fast. Love the fact that some officers become somewhat familiar with the people that cross DAILY.
