Ad Lib Bangkok | Best places to stay in Bangkok

"Sandwiched between a big international hospital and a hum-ho stretch of Sukhumvit Road, Ad Lib’s location might not have a lot going for it. Yet, this savvy boutique hotel masterfully turned its plot at the dead end of a residential cul-de-sac into an oasis of lush greenery and contemporary design. Shaded by banyan trees, its 58 rooms are snug but comfortable and come with a handy smartphone to take around town. Guests can also use the complimentary shuttle service to reach the Phloen Chit BTS Skytrain station, while a dip in the gorgeous saltwater rooftop pool is a welcome treat after a day in the Thai sun. We enjoyed 5 nights at the Ad Lib with family stayiing in 3 king size rooms. The staff were all fantastic, the rooms beautifully appointed and the meals we had (breakfast and dinner) were all beautiful. The gym and pool were excellent facilities for what we required. Highly recommend given the luxury boutique nature of the hotel and the great service.

I didn’t stay at ad lib Bangkok this time, but I made sure to visit the restaurant – and as always, it was absolutely worth it. The food quality here is outstanding. The steak was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, while the burger is simply the best I’ve had in Bangkok – juicy, well-balanced, and full of flavor.||Anytime I’m in Bangkok and have some free time, I always make it a point to come here just for the food. The consistency, quality, and taste never disappoint. Truly the best of the best for steak and burgers. Highly recommended!

The staff were welcoming, attentive, and made everything feel so seamless, especially Jam he is really good and smiling all the time. The food was absolutely outstanding, fresh, beautifully presented and every dish was full of flavour. but the cleaner takes a long time to clean. I waited for the room about one hour and a half.

This was my second time staying at the Ad Lib Hotel, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcome, especially thanks to Fang from the front office, who was incredibly kind and made me feel right at home. Her genuine hospitality really stood out. The entire team at Ad Lib was just as fantastic. Always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything. It’s rare to find such consistently excellent service, and it really makes a difference. The hotel itself remains as beautiful and comfortable as I remembered. Tucked away in a quiet spot, yet still close to everything Bangkok has to offer, it’s the perfect urban retreat. The stylish design and relaxing ambiance make it hard to leave. I’m so glad I returned, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommended!😊

IMPORTANT FOR DISABLED PERSON !!!!!! I put great for its location and rooms. People who work are nice. its near from the hospital. the Service for the Disabled Person is not good: to enter the hotel there is a path for those who use wheelchairs. but to go to the room you can not avoid the stairs. During my stay, I discovered by chance (which I find not good from the stuff Because they didn't tell me ) that there is a path for the disabled available only a few days a week because It's in maintenance . I used it anyway and it was not that bad Comparing stairs that were difficult to use for a disabled person(my father), shame to a 4-stars hotel that does not pay attention to fix this path so quickly because it's indispensable for the disabled. I'm there from September 3 intell 8 and the problem is not yet fixed. Note: they have rooms that are easily accessible for the disabled, but do not suit us because we are 3. because we need two rooms connected to take care of our father easily. And this type of connected rooms is not available throughout the hotel.

I wasn’t asked to leave a review, but I felt compelled to because of how amazing our experience was. The hotel surprised my family with thoughtful touches—everything from Listerine in the public restrooms to the beautiful design of both the lobby and our room. I cannot recommend this place enough, and now I know another wonderful spot to stay in Bangkok. Nut was especially kind, as was the entire FO team. The breakfast staff were also extremely attentive with our baby, which meant a lot to us. From A to Z, it was truly a great experience Long live Thailand 🇹🇭 ❤️ 🇺🇸
