Visited Ithaca this weekend my wife and I, we have our usuals but wanted to try a new place. Saw the small menu and what we like and went out to go try Adam Grill. Very nice chef was very communicative with us about the food and didn’t rush but was done cooking at a good time. I got a lamb gyro and my wife got the shrimp. Coming back from Greece I was really excited to try both the lamb and shrimp considering I’ve never had a shrimp gyro. Both wraps had the tzatziki (white sauce) and the red sauce which we were told was a secret sauce but did have a hint of Harrisa in it. Very delicious flavor on the lamb not too much and not too little. Lamb wasn’t dry and the flavors from the sauces, tomato, onions and peppers really helped the wrap be complete. I will say trying the shrimp was absolutely delicious, had concern about it initially because it seems like Ithaca’s small quick cheap food restaurants rarely or never had good sea/vegan options. 100% worth the visit, I don’t understand why this place isn’t busy all the time from the Cornell and Ithaca students that I see walking the commons.
