"Maybe you’re a self-proclaimed wine buff, and the history of wine interests you more than seeing how many flights you can fit in an afternoon at Woodinville. In that case, make a trip to Adams Bench, a Cabernet-focused tasting room in the middle of a quiet residential neighborhood. It’s a winery owned by a former lawyer and is only open for four hours every Saturday, so plan accordingly. Listening to this guy introduce himself and talk grapes is educational, but cool - kind of like what you imagine The Magic Schoolbus to be if it were a real thing." - Aimee Rizzo

Google
A not-so-hidden gem right in the heart of Wine Alley in Woodinville. I recommend it to friends and love to bring out of town guests to taste some of my favorite WA wines. The hardest part is deciding which I like more, the Stillwater or Mays Discovery--amazing cabs that you can drink now or cellar for special occasions.

Google
A little disappointing. Came on a recommendation. Just paid for the tasting. Not often I find a winery with at least 1, wine I liked. I've had 12 wine clubs at once. The finish on these wines left me puckered & soured, instead of smooth. Not recommended.

Obviously I'm the outlier here but my whole party agrees. Taste here last as the incredibly tannic wines will reduce your tongue to sandpaper. The flavors were very solid, but it was hard to get through a glass. Reminiscent of Dusted valley, it will leave your tongue and teeth stained. Also the price is pretty hard to justify. This was the rare occasion where I paid for the tasting instead of purchasing a bottle.

Excellent wine and excellent service. Loved talking with the workers about their wine, and will certainly join the wine club once it is available again.

Google
Cozy, welcoming tasting room with helpful staff and, most importantly, great wine. Tastings are a bit pricey, but a tasting counts toward the purchase of a bottle. Cheers!

Hannah was a superb host. The best Cabernets in Seattle. Tim and Erica have done an amazing job creating together Adams Bench. 5+++ f there were 10 stars, we’d give them 10. Well worth your time.

Google
Very exclusive selection of fine wines. We tasted 4 wines which are produced in limited quanities. It was an honor to taste and purchase wines from this beautiful winery.

Yelp
We were fortunate to get seated on a Saturday morning right at opening since none of us were members and therefore unable to make a reservation. We were able to bring in food and ended up celebrating a birthday while we were there, but it did feel like we got some judging looks from the staff. The wines were good, but unfortunately were just not to our taste.

Yelp
Good wines at a relatively approachable price point. Quaint tasting room near a few others which makes it really convenient to make a day of it with wine and a meal. Will be back!

Yelp
One of our favorite wineries. Big bold dark colored Cabernet is one of the best in Woodenville.

Yelp
These are definitely some of the best wines this state produces. I thoroughly enjoyed each tasting and the ladies working at their new location were extremely friendly, yet professional. I highly recommend tasting these gems.

Yelp
Went wine tasting for a friend's birthday and this was our first stop. She was looking for place with a great ambiance instead of just a tasting room (which I rather do because there are so close to each other and can knock out a few wineries within a short walk). The tasting here is $20 for 5 tasting and honestly, out of the 5, I only like 2 (and only 1 that I would even possibly spend money on only because I love sangiovese but then realized that spending $52 on a mediocre bottle where you can get something delicious for $20...meh). The owner was there which was cool and told us the story about how he came up with the name Adams Bench but all in all the wine was meh and the prices were high ($52 was the 2nd the lowest price for a bottle) where I know the tasting fee is waived if you purchase a bottle but I wasn't compelled to buy a bottle

Yelp
I was really looking forward to coming here, drove up and door was open but no one was there to attend us during hours. So unfortunately I want able to try their wines.

Yelp
Off the beaten path from most of the other wineries in Woodinville. The owners are generally there to greet you and pour you tastings. Friendly & personable. Tasting room is generally open on the weekends or by appointments. Nice small landscape with parking available. There's chocolates available to enhance your wine tastings.

Yelp
Nice new tasting room with above average wines for the area. They're not open often without an appointment but both times we've gone we enjoyed it. The Cab is nice but we do prefer the Reckoning. The owners are an attorney and a retired doctor, both are quite nice and interesting to chat with. The wine price point is close to value considering the other wineries in the area. Staff is great, and the new tasting room is very nice! Go and try!

Yelp
So while on Passport to Woodinville 09 we heard a lot of good things about this place. I would give it 3 1/2 stars but as you all know I cant. For all the hype I was a little disappointed. When driving up to the place it is on the property with some houses. Looks a little out of place but its in a bar setting and it is actually pretty cool. I dig the space. So they were serving two different reds from 2 years. I am not a fan of reds so I might be a little more skeptical then most. The flavors were there and they did taste really good. They were doing barrel tastings of their Myth that comes in august. I was a little disappointed cause I really would have bought a bottle but sadly there weren't any. Anyway the family is nice and from what I remember they like to take the slow approach. They were very personable and knew a lot about wine. Try it. Its a little out of woodinville but I think its worth the trip.

Yelp
Seriously folks. This is some of the best juice in our State. Thank you Tim Blue for your commitment to small lot production. You rock!

Yelp
What a lovely, personal experience we received at Adam's Bench winery! The husband and wife team were extremely nice and personable and spent a lot of time talking to us about their history and wine making. They were so overly enthusiastic and nice, we couldn't help bu have a great time! They were only pouring 3 wines but offered o let us revisit anything we wanted to. We made an appointment since their website said appointment only, but when we got there the room was full and no one asked about our appointment, so not sure we needed to do that in the end. We ended up taking a bottle of cab home mostly because the $15 tasting fee seemed to make the $35 bottle of wine a pretty good deal. But probably would have left it - it wasn't amazing, but very good. Overall we really enjoyed the personal experience we received and the location is very cool on top of the hill - a fresh perspective from many of the wineries located in parking lots :)

Yelp
One the best in the Woodinville area. They offer good blends in particular the Reckoning. They will be releasing the 100 Cab soon and I can't wait to taste it. Although their wines are nicely crafted, their finish are a little bit too short for my liking. I still buy their wines. This winery is one of my favorites along with Baer and XSV. So, I am giving them 4 stars. Yes, I am a wine snob.

Yelp
My wife and I really enjoy this winery and the owners / wine makers. They do some wonderful thinks with Cabernet, Cab Franc, Merlots and a little Viognier with some of their blends. They are making some of the best Washington State red wines. Open most Saturdays 12-4 PM. Also by appointment as needed. Don't miss this one in Woodinville!
