Adar Kosher Supermarket in Côte Saint-Luc is a hidden gem for anyone seeking high-quality kosher products. Their bakery is a standout, offering an array of fresh pastries, challah, and baked goods that taste just as good as they look. Whether you're grabbing a quick loaf for Shabbat or indulging in a sweet treat, their bakery never disappoints. The deli counter is equally impressive, with a variety of fresh meats, prepared foods, and salads that are perfect for a meal on the go or a family dinner. The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, making the shopping experience smooth and enjoyable. Overall, Adar is a one-stop shop for all your kosher needs, blending convenience with top-notch quality!

Super friendly staff/owner, delicious take-out food, their lemon eggplant salad is amazing, so is the babaganoush. My kids love the sushi - who would expect that here! Breads are yummy and always fresh, love the massive onion buns!

After shopping here for 15+ years, the arrogant owner accused my daughter (2 yrs old) of stealing, when he checked (on the first night of Hanukkah, No less) he realized it was her ball. Some guts to accuse a child, be wrong and not apologize. He does not deserve our business.

Chanukah. All CSL (and not only) wants the donuts, the SUFGANYOUT. I call Adar and hear that there are plenty, but 5 min later, upon my arrival, there was none. More people are pouring in, for the same donuts (which most of people only want once a year, on that only day!!!) People see empty counter and wonder what is going on... "wait for half hour, or one hour, there will be more", an employee said. No one can wait for half hour in the cold winter evening before holidays... yet, I come later in the evening, and of course, there is nothing... - Where is your boss? - Florida. All stuff is prominently non Jewish, and hardly understood what people were mad about. I wonder if they are even Canadians.... Well... We went to the Outremont place and got all we wanted, and for half the Adar price, btw.

Great food for reasonable prices. I love their bakery products and pastries. Today, for example, I have bought their cheesecake. Omg! It was one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever tried! It’s moderately sweet, very fresh and delicate. I called it “dairy Snow White fairy” (-tale) :)) My family absolutely adored it! The takeout food, sandwiches and salads deserve a special mention - they’re just scrumptious! The service is not always impeccable, but very often the amazing staff really go an extra mile to offer the best service, something which other bigger stores would hardly ever do. :))

No matter how hard my day was i know i could go to Adar get something to eat for my whole family and all with a smile and a greeting from the ever so lovely Esther who knows everyone. Adar is where everyone knows your name! It's like going home. I've been shopping there for over 20 years. Since before i was married. It's the place to go for anything you need.

The owner of the establishment is greedy and saves on everything. He treats his employees poorly and spreads dirt in the kitchen. Take care of your health, do not go here.

Great pastries and a large takeout counter of high quality cooked dishes. Prepared meat, poultry, fish and vegetable dishes to go. The takeout counter food is well-priced. Kosher catering is expensive and Adar is no exception, but the prices compare with other kosher places while the quality of their catering and prepared dishes is really top of the line. They sell sandwiches and fancy French pastries as well. Large parking lot.
