I've been coming here for over ten years. It's recently changed owners. New owners have expanded the menu to include more traditional dishes, which taste great. I only wish they continued to offer the Ethiopian beers like the previous owner.

First time eating Ethiopian food. The experience and the food were amazing. The staff gave us great recommendations and I didn't try anything I didn't like. We ordered a Red Sea combo, beef tips, and lentils. We had enough food for 4 people and had so much fun eating!

First time indulging in Ethiopian food and it was worth it. This place has a beautiful ambience with carpet floor and light Ethiopian music in the background. It has a huge menu of veggies, chicken, beef, lamb and fish to choose from. They've got a good selection of wines too! A must visit I would say!

Addis is my favorite hidden gem boston restaurant. it’s one of those restaurants that has an authentic vibe, delicious food reminiscent of home cooking, and affordable prices. I regularly bring my friends and guests here and it is always a hit.

Authentic Ethiopian food. everything we ate was SOO DELICIOUS. It was well seasoned and tasted like it had been slow cooked

I am an Indian Vegetarian with slight tough pallet for food. However I was surprised to find out how Ethopian food is similar to Indian food. Since this was my first experience with Ethopian food, I can't comment how well this would hold to other Ethopian restaurant. But I loved it and I will go again.

Very authentic place. I've never eaten Ethiopian food but I would certainly try it again. Pleasant environment and plenty of vegetarian options.

First time going (2018), had no problems. It was my first time eating the food, and it was great. Second time (2019), it took them maybe 10-15 minutes to seat us (no one even spoke to/acknowledged us, so we stood there awkwardly.) We then had to wait over an hour for our food. Once we saw another table (who came after us) get seated, eat and leave, we realized they probably forgot us. We asked for our food to go rather than wait to eat there. I felt so bad for recommending this place. My friend was very angry at the service. My recommendations: Try it once and decide if you like Ethiopian food. And go EARLY.
