"How did it strike you on arrival? With its pastel-pretty, graphic façade there’s a dash of Miami about Adina Apartment Hotel Bondi Beach, a modern stay in a prime spot on Bondi’s foodie Hall Street, a few minutes’ walk from the iconic beach. Nice. What’s the crowd like? Surfers, beach lovers, backpackers and flashpackers from Australia and overseas are drawn by Adina’s hot location in Bondi, one of Sydney’s most desirable seaside neighbourhoods. The good stuff: Tell us about your room. Sydney architects Bates Smart designed the Scandi-chic, calm, contemporary interiors, including 111 studios (sleeping two) and one- or two-bedroom apartments (sleeping three or five maximum). Neutral palettes are pepped up with accents of coastal colour and surf photos by Bondi gallery Aquabumps, with rooms featuring kitchens and inviting balconies. We’re craving some deep, restorative sleep. They got us? Vibrant patterned cushions pop on pale, comfy King, Queen or Twin beds. How about the little things, like mini bar, or shower goodies. Any of that find its way into your suitcase? Entry-level studios have a mini-bar and tea- and coffee-making facilities, with a microwave, fridge, kettle, plates and cutlery. Higher tiers have a full-size fridge, oven, dishwasher and washer-dryer. Please tell us the bathroom won’t let us down. Spacious bathrooms feature showers, with baths available in one-bed apartments, and two bathrooms with showers over baths in two-bed apartments. Maybe the most important topic of all: Wi-Fi. What’s the word? Free Wi-Fi at 1Mbps for four devices per room, with high-speed Wi-Fi for a fee, USB charge points, an iPod dock and flatscreen TV with Foxtel. Room service: Worth it? You’ll find delicious dining in Boheme, Adina’s mixed-used complex, including all-day restaurant and breakfast-favourite Bills (where you can charge meals back to your room), China Diner (pan-Asian), A Tavola and Da Orazio Pizza + Pochetta (both Italian), Blanca (fusion), Bondi Hall (coffee) and Gelato Messina (ice cream). A food precinct below includes Harris Farm Markets (fresh produce) and Pasticceria Papa (Italian cakes). Staff: If you could award one a trophy, who gets it, and why? Friendly staff man the 24-hour reception. Anything stand out about other services and features? Whether it’s childcare, gyms, spas, even parking—whatever stuck with you. A 20-metre outdoor lap pool in the back yard offers loungers, sun umbrellas, tables and chairs. There’s also a gym and underground parking for a fee. What was most memorable—or heartbreaking—about your stay? The appealing lobby has a retro, mid-century-modern feel, teaming leather lounge chairs with grey sofas, curvy coffee tables, colourful geometric-patterned rugs and chunky pale stone walls. Bottom line: worth it, and why? From swimming in the surf to cocktails on the balcony, what’s not to like? Older sister property Adina Apartment Hotel Sydney Surry Hills is an affordable option for stays on central, shopping-friendly Crown Street." - Sophie Davies

This a great place, just 2 blocks from the beach with excellent facilities, the pool is warm and the spa pool was hot, relaxing and I had it to myself both times I went down to use it. There's a addiquite gym that should please most, a few more free weights would be good. The room was good, not large, but I could work from it for a couple of days without getting cabin fever. There's parking behind the hotel at Wilson's car park, get your ticket validated at reception to save on the parking fees, there's also life in the car park straight up to your floor. The team at reception are great and very helpful. I'd definitely stay here again.

Good sized room and good location. We were there for two nights. After first night we were out with notice on door for make up room. We returned round 1ish or so and room still not touched. Felt housekeeping was not done well in regards to doing rooms first of where people were already staying in. As not all visitors like us would be out all day. Plus we had traveled from overseas and just wanted time in room for a bit, but in doing so, not take the risk of being disturbed by housekeeping coming in nor to delay them. After all, on arrival, room not "guaranteed " ready until 3pm. Coffee apart from pod coffee was not resupplied, otherwise service when done was good. You could turn off aircon in room, which did work well, was helpful. Overall experience was good.

We had a wonderful stay at Aiden Hotel Bondi Beach, and we’d like to give a special thank you to Duty Manager Martina. Her warm hospitality and attention to detail made our stay incredibly comfortable. We’re especially grateful for her help in finding an item we accidentally left behind in the room. She followed up so promptly and thoughtfully — it was not only helpful but also truly heartwarming. It’s rare to meet someone so kind and professional. Martina, thank you again for making our experience so smooth and memorable!

Google
Great hotel for the price centrally located right on HALL STREET where there is plenty of eats and treats down stairs. -Room service (sushi & comfort food) -Chromecast (to watch netflix and disney etc) -24 hour front desk -daily housekeeping -clean and comfortable rooms (bed was super comfortable) -AC for those who like it cold -Blackout curtains -a desk in the room to work from! -wifi in the lobby and by the pool -gym that has weights, water, and yoga mats -kitchen appliances (like air fryer and blenders) to make breakfast in the room which I loved -front desk is never super busy which is so nice for fast and easy check in's -right near the beach but away from the business of the main street -elevators and carts for luggage -lobby locks after 8pm for extra security which is a nice addition I stayed here almost two weeks and have stayed in many other BONDI hotels. This one is my favorite for the cost value & what they provide to their guests.

There aren’t many hotel options in Bondi, and for that reason, they tend to be on the expensive side, especially during summer. They also have that "beach hotel" vibe and not the luxury vibe you can find in the city. So, set your expectations accordingly. However, if you really want or need to stay in Bondi, I think Adina is probably the best choice. Studio rooms are just basic hotel rooms. We opted for a 1-bedroom apartment, which included a full-sized fridge and in-unit laundry. Sometimes the 1-bedroom apartments are priced only slightly higher than the studio rooms, so it’s worth checking. This Adina offers daily housekeeping and a 24-hour front desk, which isn’t always the case with “apartment hotels.” The property generally feels fresh and welcoming, especially for a beach hotel. The location is hard to beat. In ten minutes or less, you can walk to the world-famous Bondi Beach, restaurants, coffee spots, bars, and two grocery stores. Bonus tip: Book directly with Adina. We received a nice welcome gift at check-in simply for booking through them instead of a third-party middleman.

I recently stayed at the Adina Apartment Hotel in Bondi Beach, and while the location is fantastic, there were a few aspects that left me disappointed. First, the location is perfect for anyone wanting to enjoy Bondi Beach—close to the beach, cafes, and local shops, making it incredibly convenient for both relaxation and exploration. The area itself is vibrant and lively, so it's great for those looking to experience the best of Bondi. However, when it comes to the hotel itself, the experience was a bit lacking. I was not satisfied with the cleanliness or housekeeping standards. The room wasn’t as fresh as I expected, and there were a few areas that seemed neglected. The housekeeping service was inconsistent, and when I requested certain items, it took much longer than expected to receive them. It felt like there was a bit of a disconnect in terms of service. Additionally, the room’s equipment could use some attention. Some of the appliances and fixtures seemed outdated or not working as they should. While the space itself was comfortable, these issues impacted the overall experience. The staff, while friendly, were somewhat unreliable. They were polite and tried to be helpful, but there was a noticeable lack of follow-through on requests, which can be frustrating when you're staying for a longer period of time. In summary, while the Adina’s location is unbeatable, the cleanliness, room condition, and service left much to be desired. With a bit more attention to detail and reliability, this could be a fantastic place to stay.

400 bucks a night x 9 nights so $3600. If it was half the price you would expect the rooms to be clean. Our room had food left under the sofa pillows, and the terrace just simply look like it's never cleaned. The one next to is no different. But nothing 5 minute mop couldn't spruce up. I complained about the terrace after they came and cleaned the disgusting sofa. And they said they would send have a VIP clean the next day. Nott sure why it would be VIP we just expect normal cleanliness. Anyway that never happened, the cleaner said she would have to check with management rather than clean what is obviously filthy.

Yelp
Bondi's needed a place like Adina for...ever? Just blocks from the beach, this new hotel on Hall Street fills a major void in this seaside community. The studio apartment rooms come equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, cutlery, plates, glasses, cups and bowls. Clutch if you want to fix a little something in your room! My stay so far in a second floor studio has been lovely - the bed is firm and covered with soft sheets, I've got a sofa to lounge on, a table to work at and plenty of room to move around. If not for the rain, I'd be hanging on my balcony too! There's a pool on the ground floor and a gym (though I've yet to check it out since my sneakers are still soaked from yesterday's rain). The swish lobby is comfortable enough to work in too. Walk outside and you'll have every amenity you're after, from organic grocery stores to used bookshops and places to buy board shorts and bikinis, I can't think of a better place in the city to locate yourself. I've finally found my home here in Sydney and it's at Adina!

Yelp
Perfect location in Bondi. It's on a side street slightly tucked away from the main drag in Bondi. It's not beach side, but was only a 5 min walk to the main restaurants and beach. It was quite nice because there is the Harris Farm Market basically IN the building (right under it) so we were able to get some fresh fruit and healthier snacks here even though we're on vacation. It's also near a nail salon and tons of popular restaurants that are on all the top restaurants lists so we had an easy time going out to eat and hitting up the beach each day.

Yelp
There's lots to love about this perfectly situated Bondi hotel. Let me count the ways it did me right during a recent work conference. (That's right people, I conference at the beach.) 1. It's the only acceptable hotel in Bondi Beach proper. Trust me, I've looked. This is it. 2. The fresh decor and simple amenities are perfectly suited for a beach-y getaway. 3. Minus a beach view, the location truly couldn't be better. 4. The conference room is not is some grimy basement, but instead easily accessed on the first floor with tons of natural light and big sliding glass doors. 5. The accommodating staff will basically give you anything you want (within reason) and are super easy to work with during the booking, check-in and check-out process. 6. The price is right. There were a few hiccups with internet bills and connectivity, and a bit of a room leak problem that was quickly resolved with a generous upgrade, so considering that we were some of the hotel's very first guests, it was definitely an experience worth recommending.

Yelp
I think the best way to review this place fairly is to bear in mind that it is not a boutique hotel. The well appointed lobby and pool may suggest otherwise, but at the end of the day it's an affordable place to stay in Bondi/Sydney - of which are few and far between! Location wise, if Bondi is where you have your heart set, it's perfect. Just a short stroll from the beach, nestled between the best of the local cafes and next door to the delicious Gelato Messina. Everything is clean and modern aesthetic wise and the rooms are a good size. As far as actual facilities go, this is where things are a bit of a let down. The beds and pillows are horrendous. So uncomfortable. Thankfully I was here for a conference and quite tired by the end of the day, because I was so stiff and sore and can't imagine having gotten any sleep if I hadn't conked out. The staff were extremely unhelpful (to the point of being rude) when I tried to get new pillows, explaining that they were all as bad as the next. If you can't stand a rock-hard mattress, I would reconsider staying more than a night or two here. The rooms feature a kitchenette with microwave. Not a lot of cooking facilities, but enough to have your own breakfast or small meals, with both an IGA and more gourmet grocer both within stones throw. There is limited free wifi, but there may as well not be because the amount allocated will be maxed by the time you send your first email attachment. The wifi is a huge headache here and some staff did their best to help us, but it was a daily chore. Not ideal for business travellers but if you're travelling for leisure, not such a big deal. Top marks for location, price, and aesthetics. Lost marks for comfort, service, and wifi.

Yelp
Imagine IKEA was a woman, a wonderful, clean, beautiful Scandinavian woman, that got really drunk one night and made sweet sweet lurve with, oh, let's say the son of Conrad Hilton (does Connie have a son? Who knows. For the sake of this review let's assume that he does and he's got a mad-on for well-designed Nordic women). After the obligatory 9 month gestation period the hotel they would give birth to is the Adina Bondi. The lobby - all wide, low-slung couches and La Jolla-style sandstone walls - feels like an apres ski lounge room, it's all kinds of comfortable to hang out in and looks a treat. The rooms are clean, well-designed, well-appointed, and have me wanting to look out the window and see a silver birch forest. There's a pool, a small gym, comfy beds, neat kitchenette, awesome showers, giant setting-moon bathroom mirrors, and I mentioned Gelato Messina just opened next door, right? Because it did. Salted caramel y'all.

Chloe R.

Yelp
Combining ski chalet luxury with beach side ambiance this hotel is truly "Bondi." All it needs now is Jennifer Hawkins to walk through the overactive vanilla candle smelling lobby in her knee length Uggs and newest line of summer bikinis licking a Gelato Messina Campari & marmalade gelati from next door and the look would be complete. The rooms were huge and very airy, but that might just be because I left the door to the balcony (yes balcony with a table for two) open all day and night long. The Greek Island, Swiss Country lodge feel extends down the crazy patterned bright hallways and into the white wash rooms with pops of colourful, new car smelling cushions and bedding. The bed was huge, firm and very sleepable. The pillow cases were a tad "cheap" and scratchy in comparison to the sheets. Yes this sounds ridiculous but I'm very particular about my bedding. The room was incredibly quiet and clean. I loved the furnishings and the bathing and ablutions equipment provided. My only two gripes? The TV was slow and a bit painful to work and I was a bit disappointed we had to pay for wi-fi. Bondi has grown up and lost a little something from its surfy, backpacker, hemp smelling days but I'm happy to see this being replaced by the lux, hipster and still affordable options like Bondi Adina.

Yelp
I wish we had more hotels like Adina back home in Auckland. Prime location, modern design and most importantly, affordable! This was my second stay at Adina and I'm happy to report that I am still a fan. Firstly, it's location in central Bondi is the best. There's great cafes, restaurants and perhaps most importantly after a long flight, coffee within 5-10mins walk. Not too mention the sinfully delicious Gelato Messina is right next door. I may or may not have indulged every day on my 4-day stay! As for the rooms, they're a decent size and come complete with a kitchenette, desk, couch and coffee table. They also have an iron and ironing board in the cupboard - big tick in my book! The shower strength is ok and the shampoo / conditioner could do with a bit of work but these are only slight niggles. My only major qualm is the small daily data allowance. Surely, internet should be free for guests or at least put a decent cap on it. That being said, I would happily stay at the Adina again and would recommend it to others!

Tresna L.

Yelp
What a breath of fresh air! The Adina in Bondi has the balance between practical hotel facilities and beachy breezy atmosphere just right. The lobby is beautiful. Filled with comfortable couches, the latest magazines, candles and chilled music it's the kind of place you would be happy to spend an hour or two working or waiting for your taxi to arrive. The rooms are really well designed and large. My studio apartment was more than ample and had the weather been nicer I would have spent some serious time on the small balcony. Instead I spent time at the desk working and in the large comfy bed watching trashy TV before falling asleep. Mad props to the mini bar that is stocked with iconic Aussie treats like Tim Tams, Caramello Koala's and Arnott's Shapes. The kitchen is basic in the studio. Beyond heating things in the microwave or popping bread in the toaster, you're not really going to be able to use it for more than breakfast or snacks. But hey, with so many excellent dining options within walking distance, why would you want to cook anyway?

Lani P.

Yelp
California Beach-Chic meets Colorado Ski Resort in the 1960s. Welcome to the foyer of Bondi's newest accommodation, Adina Apartment Hotel. On the ever lively Hall Street you couldn't be better positioned to enjoy Bondi and the beach lifestyle. You're spoilt from the moment you walk into the calming foyer and as you walk into your self-contained studio apartment. It's beachy, breezy and sophisticated. The studios are well equipped and feel far more roomy than their sq. meterage would indicate. There's a beautiful Danish-inspired looking desk for you to work from, comfortable lounges to put your feet up and read or fall to sleep soundly on the king-size bed with Kate Tucker-esque cushions. And with so many dining options a stones throw away you may not wish to take advantage of the kitchenette with microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster, but if like myself you seek routine when travelling, make use of the Harris Farm Markets next door to enjoy a healthy home-made breakfast each morning.

Yelp
Amazing location, very clean and modern - excellent facilities highly recommended for families as well as executive travel

Yelp
The Adina Apartment Hotel at Bondi is conveniently located in the heart of Bondi. So very close to the beach and surrounded by some pretty snazzy and cool cafes and restaurants. I was very happy to have had a couple of days in Bondi for a work conference. The hotel lobby is really comfortable, spacious, warm and smells fresh with aromatherapy candles. There are a number of couches, chairs and cushions to keep you comfortable if you are waiting or need a space to chill out. The staff at the Hotel are a little hit and miss though. Some were really helpful and happy to have a chat. Others seemed a little tired and reserved. Maybe I got them on a bad day? The rooms are really lovely and well set out. The kitchen area offered a fridge, sink, microwave and ll the cutlery and crockery needed for a short visit. I wouldn't say that this is the type of room that you would take for a long stay without cooking facilities. The bed was firm and there was plenty of linen and blankets available. My only complaint would be the pillows. There was not much in them. I had to use two and that did not even seem like one pillow. Might be worth looking into that. My other problem was the data allowance and connectivity for the internet. We had only been offered only 100mbs per day. Now if you work via the internet, we all know that you will use 100mb by the time you open your computer. They may like to look at increasing the allowance for those who are travelling for businesses. The alternative was a day's worth of unlimited access was $10. I think that is a little steep considering the cost for the rooms. However, on the plus side this apartment was very comfortable. It was quiet between the rooms and had a really lovely balcony.

Juliana K.

Yelp
There's nothing like a sexy new hotel. You don't have to quash the thought that thousands of people have slept in the bed before you, because they haven't yet. The Adina has done a wonderful job of combining sleek and very current design, with a beach-side vibe - not an easy task. The interior is almost exactly how I would decorate my house, if my boyfriend would let me use light pink as liberally as I'd like to! The rooms were great, the perfect size, with great bathroom and kitchen facilities. The pool was a decent size too. I hear they have a gym, but I was too busy eating to make it there this trip. Only con is; surely WiFi should be free for guests.

Ally H.

Yelp
Wonderful stay. Awesome location and beautiful rooms. Had a very spacious apartment with everything we need. Would highly recommend

Rachel F.

Yelp
Very nice hotel, trendy vibes and friendly staff, but it has a small gym and very uncomfortable beds

Anna H.

Yelp
Great place in a perfect location. Staff were more than accommodating. Shaded pool and hot tub, balcony off room, walk up from the beach - perfect. Will return, if I can, for sure. Would request room on back of the building if you like to sleep with the door open as it's quite loud on Hall at.

Marcus F.

Yelp
Excellent location & very clean, quiet & comfortable. 3 grocery stores close by including one below and one across from the hotel. Tons of eateries and shops & pharmacies, quick walk to Bondi Beach & bus lines. Very rare to not have to pay a premium for a great property in a great location, but this place delivers.

Billy P.

Yelp
Great place, nice people, amazing location! We had a great stay and were very happy to be able to wash our clothes. The washing machine an dryer worked great!

Kelly H.

Yelp
Great location and it's right next to the gelato store. Apartment is on the small side but is clean modern, pool and foyer looks good. Strange Radom pictures of people in rooms. Having to pay for wifi in this day and age sucks though.

Em J.

Yelp
A very cool place! The rooms were really nicely designed although I was a little surprised that my "apartment" only had a microwave and a refrig - nothing to cook on. The room design is however, almost flawless. Taking a small space and making it feel uncluttered and large is really a challenge. The layout including the bathroom and shower was really swell, the bed comfortable and the room was cheerful. The hotel is just a long block from Bondi Beach and must be the nicest and newest addition to tourist hotels in the area. They do have a pool also which, like many Australian pools, is about 4 feet deep from one end to the other with no entry steps. Just two railings, one at either, with indented 2 inch toe holds is the only access. Not recommended for children who can't swim...In addition, the overhang from the pool magnifies sound and sends noise outward and upward. Bondi Beach is a kick and just a couple of minutes away. Prepare to rent a beach umbrella, a lounge chair and a boogie board! The surf is pretty strong but really fun. Next to the Adina are restaurants and pubs. One of the best little finds is directly next door-Mr. Moustache-a friendly place to have a cocktail and enjoy the Bondi neighborhood. The Adina Apt. Hotel at Bondi Beach is a great choice for the discerning tourist.
