Oh my God, I had so much fun here. Adiós is one of the most beautifully customized, intentional, and aesthetically pleasing places I’ve been to in Birmingham. Everything about the space is gorgeous the design, the mood, the little details. You can tell a lot of heart went into this place. We visited on a Sunday night, and it was the perfect vibe. Calm, comfortable, and just right for talking, sipping, and actually enjoying your company. I did hear that during the weekend it turns into a full-on party where you can’t even move and honestly, after seeing the space, I can believe it. It’s huge, and I can only imagine the energy when it’s packed. We sat at the bar and had the best time with Chris and Brianna (with an E!). They were amazing fun, professional, welcoming, and you could tell they genuinely love working there. Hearing them speak so highly of the owner made the experience even sweeter. One of my favorite parts of the whole place was the tribute wall. I’m a family person, so seeing that dedication to their loved ones really touched my heart. It shows how much love and intention is behind the brand. They only serve cocktails no food which surprised me at first, but the drinks were honestly so good that it didn’t even matter. Every cocktail was crafted beautifully and tasted amazing. The décor, the atmosphere, the energy… all of it feels calming, intentional, and stylish. I can’t wait to go back whether for a chill Sunday night or to see the full weekend party vibe.

Wonderful cocktail bar for a romantic evening or grab a couple of cocktails for a night out. The Adios Margarita is exquisite the Che Cherry is an exquisite frozen drink. The bathroom was beautiful.

Adios is awesome! Emily, always greets me AND remembers my fav drink even tho she serves hella customers. She's so friendly and always has a smile on her face, as well as the rest of the staff! Very clean and PHENOMENAL drinks.

I think This is a drinks only bar. We went and throughly enjoyed the visit. They have a great happy hour and either live music or a DJ frequently. Bree was our server and she was friendly and knowledgeable. Bar service was quick and drinks were fabulous. Fresh fruit mixers and great selection of tequila and mezcal. Super laid back atmosphere and plenty of comfortable booths and couches for relaxing. Well appointed and spotlessly clean it was a pleasure. Mentioned in food and wine magazine as one of the best in America if you’re in Birmingham you should definitely check it out. Urban Cowgill May 2025

I think this may be my favorite cocktail bar in Birmingham. I have only been twice so far but both times I was blown away by the drinks we ordered. The service both times was perfect. The atmosphere is so calming. We even brought our books oneday and it was nice just drinking and reading a bit.

I thought Adios was just a swanky cocktail bar with chill vibes and fancy cocktails. That was cool enough for me, but NOPE! They also imbibe in the club/dance scene too. Go on a weekend and you will not be disappointed! Latin tunes, great drinks, and a great crowd makes for a great night at this spot :)

Loved the Tajin on the edge of some of the drinks, classic touch for a Mexican themed bar and the Tajin sticks to Tamarind syrup. The crowd was younger overall, some older couples sprinkled around. We sat at the bar and enjoyed conversing with the bartender. January 2025 it was announced. They made the short list for the James Beard award, Best Bar. Big bar if you want to pull up, some big booths and a sofa lounge area in the back for cozy seating and conversing. They had speakers for live music near the front entry doors. No live music when we were there early evening.

Good experience at Adios, the atmosphere and drinks were great. Different types of seating arrangements to fit your needs for the evening. Recommend for dates and/or social outings.

Hey there, cocktail connoisseurs! Let's raise a glass to my recent escapade at Adios, where the libations flowed and the vibes were on point. Starting off with the drinks, the Oaxacan Old Fashioned didn't quite hit the mark for me. Lacking that bold Mezcal punch I was craving, it fell a bit on the lighter side. However, the Mexican Firing Squad was a delightful twist on a classic margarita, hitting all the right notes. And let's not forget the Ranch Water - light, refreshing, and a hit with the wife. As for the experience, it was top-notch. The staff were absolute champs, handling our rowdy group with ease and adding to the overall fun factor of the evening. Ambience-wise, think normal lighting with a light-colored interior, but the real star was the impressive ofrenda that added a touch of authenticity to the space. Now, onto the ending thoughts. Here's the deal - Adios keeps things interesting by rotating out their house cocktails regularly. While it's cool to try new concoctions, it's a bit of a bummer if you find your new favorite and it disappears. Nevertheless, with their stellar cocktails and upbeat atmosphere, I'll definitely be making a return trip. Cheers to that!

Cute place. Love the atmosphere. Drinks are phenomenal. Great service. There are tables and booths for sitting. Spacious floor for dancing. Food truck out front. Street/lot parking.

Very nice lounge/bar with beautiful decor. The drinks are amazing and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. They also have games like Uno and Jenga to help keep you entertained. Overall one of the nicest bars in Bham!

TEQILA MOCKINGBIRD! Having a community of friends and like minded adults to share experiences, is a beautiful part of life. Adios, a Mexican themed bar here in Birmingham, has captured the concept of community is an outstanding way. Instead of this just being your every day bar like you would find everywhere else, this bar has an equal amount of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. These are not just your everyday non alcoholic beverages, they are beautifully made and garnished just as if you were drinking an alcoholic cocktail. Our waiter/bartender Jalen explained that these non alcoholic beverages are there to build community. How beautiful of a concept is that? I came here with a good friend of mine, we tried an alcoholic beverage each and then also tried several of their non alcoholic cocktails as well. For my alcoholic beverage I ordered the Sangria and it was absolutely amazing. This was not your ordinary sangria that you would buy in the grocery store, instead it was an outstanding flavorful glass with beautiful garnishes and bursting with flavors. The non alcoholic beverages that we tried were: the Paloma as well as the jungle juice. Both bursted with fruit flavors, they weren't super sweet either, at least not with your everyday type sugar. They used authentic Mexican flavors and sugars in each of their drinks which gave you the option to taste flavors you might have not ever really tasted the actual flavors of without added sugars inside. The non alcoholic Paloma was outstanding. It was a little on the tart side of things, but the salt/saline added in cut the tartness of the grapefruit this drink was by far my favorite of the evening and I didn't even miss the alcohol in the drink. If you are looking for a bar to grab some drinks with some friends maybe their drinkers, maybe not, this is the spot to come and grow in your community. Absolutely delicious drinks, people who accept the fact that not everyone drinks either which is a beautiful concept.

Nice chill place to go have drinks. There are many drink options to choose from. Parking can be a bit tricky. I will definitely come back again.

I found out about the tequila bar in an article that I read listing the top 10 (or 15). I cannot quite remember) tequila bars in the United States. I was pleased to discover that 1 of the bars (Adios) was here in Birmingham. I recently went and it was great. The ambiance and decor were nice and appealing, the bartenders were attentive and informative, and there was ample seating (was nit close or tight quarters like many bars). I highly recommend the oaxacan old fashioned.

Adios is a beautiful bar with a comfy seating area up front, booths for private conversations and plenty of bar seating for up close interaction with your friendly bartender. They feature very creative agave cocktails and really have something for everyone. The drinks are consistently amazing. Usually I have a favorite cocktail when I visit a bar repeatedly and here there are so many great ones I keep trying different options. BTW, the cool decor extends to the bathrooms where you'll find very selfie-worthy wallpaper. Highly recommend!

My new favorite bar! So I came here with my best friend cause we wanted to be grown and sexy and try something different. Made it go the door, and the guy asked how many anc checked our id's. We made it in, and it was a great chill spot. The place was nicely lit, and they had couches, chairs, etc, but we sat at the bar. The bartender, Ross, was really helpful and gave recommendations of drinks. He was telling us about the place and told us this was the first day of the fall menu. We definitely had a great time and Ross was soooo helpful especially being our first time. This place is great for a hangout, after-work, or just a wind down. I know Adios posted a few weeks ago that Ross has moved to Vegas so I know the people will be in a treat when he serves him. We will definitely be back.

This place is so fun! It's small, but on a Friday night about 8:30 we got a table with no issues. A fun vibe, with a focus on tequila cocktails, we had to try the margaritas. And WOW!!! So delicious! We just ordered the house margaritas and were blown away by how delicious they were! We will absolutely be back and add this to our regular rotation.

The drink selection is amazing and you can't beat the decoration and ambiance. Service was also good, but I sat at the bar so I could be biased.

This was my first time to adios. Particularly this night adios was hosting a zodiac themed burlesque. It was amazing. The dancers are all different body types with beautiful outfits and good dancing. The wait staff was very attentive. There was a live band that played wonderfully. The singer's voice was very beautiful. I ordered their Sandgria which was perfect. It was a very fun event that was did very well.

This bar is located in the bar district on First Ave North. I drove by heading to another bar and noticed it. We talked about Adios all the way to other bar. We decided to go back to Adios. We are glad we did. The drinks were good. There is a food truck in front of Adios. We didn't try it. We were only out for drinks. Our drinks were good. We had an Un Coco, Airmail, and a margarita. The staff was very friendly & knowledgeable. I'll be back!

My first time experience was okay! The bar itself is nice, and they have several drink options. I liked how when we approached the entrance the guy checking IDs opened the door for us (because it looked like a pretty heavy door.) He let us know that at the time we came, which was around 9pm on a Friday, that there was only bar seating. We were able to find bar stools fairly quickly. Definitely a high energy vibe. Lots of talking, laughing, and people having a good time. Bar tenders were super attentive and quick. I wasn't super impressed (flavor wise) with the third cocktail I had which was a Spicy Margarita but the other two were tasty. The second one I had was overly sweet to the point where I wasn't even sure if there was alcohol in it... but it waMy favorite was the first cocktail. They were all recommended by the bar tender so I didn't get the names except for the spicy Margarita. I'll definitely give them another try at some point.

Very nice cozy place to have drinks with friends or date. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the great customer service. The location is great along other cool businesses in the area.

Adios is the new spot! I came here on opening night and was so glad I did. The line outside seemed long, but the bouncer got a table for two in 5 minutes. Immediately, I noticed the excellent customer service and the even amazing selection of drinks. They truly take care about and take good care of their customers. Our server gave us a recommendation of a drink that was not on the menu that night, which was amazing. There was a mix between spicy and sweet with a dash of hibiscus. I also tried the Adios Mule because I can never shy away from mezcal. I enjoyed the smokiness of the mezcal with the hint of ginger beer. The tajin that lined the rim gave it the extra kick to tie it all together. Great atmosphere, fun music, and overall an amazing time! This is a spot you don't want to miss out on!

Great space for meeting friends and catching up. Not a lot of seating so if it's busy be ready to stand. Beautiful space and really a nice addition to the bar scene in Birmingham. Please note they do not serve food. Food is provided by a food truck conveniently located outside the venue.

ADIOS is serving up some of the most refreshing unique cocktails you can find! Service is always amazing! Everyone makes you feel at home. The ambiance is beautiful and sexy no detail was missed from the color pallet, artwork to lightening and drink ware! If you want an amazing space with amazing drinks and service ADIOS needs to be on your list to visit! Jesus and Jose have brought Birmingham a jewel !

I've been here twice with friends. Whether you drink alcohol or just want to go for community and have a non-alcoholic beverage, this place is so cute. The vibe is immaculate and the service is really personable and pleasant.

Loved our drinks and time at Adios. Most impressively, a bartender noticed when my group of friends (all girls) was being bothered by a guy who couldn't take a hint we didn't want to chat. We wound up leaving and the bartender came out front and checked on us and asked if the guy was bothering us. Very supportive of women's safety and was watching out for us.

Very subpar, inconsistent drinks. Seating is a little too open; you'll be almost on top of someone's lap when you sit in a "booth". Would be better off going to Mayawell for top/mid shelf reposado, or Juniper for gin bar.

Definitely for a more sophisticated crowd! Love the ambiance and vibe. High on our list of kick-backs spots in B'ham

Tasty and beautiful drinks. The staff is very attentive and makes sure you are comfortable. Would 100% recommend. Came for the happy hour from 4-6 and was very impressed.

We sat at the bar during happy hour yesterday and the service was great! I didn't know there was going to be happy hour specials, so that was a nice surprise. I have the adios margarita and it was delicious (and not too sweet).

Adios is a welcome addition to downtown bham but sadly I feel like the cocktails are lacking. My drinks were either too sweet.. to sour.. or just tasted like water. However I enjoyed the open environment and the fact it wasn't too crowded on a Friday night. Wait staff was extremely friendly and attentive too!
