First time visiting this store and I was absolutely blown away. Exceptional quality, quantity, and organization. There isn’t really anything that this store lacks and the prices were reasonable. On one side it’s your typical African market grocery and pantry selections while on the other side you will find chicken/meats/ and fish. The owner was so friendly and welcoming and I believe this is a blueprint for all African store all around the world. 10/10 in my books

First time visiting this store I really liked it! Had great African selection and the prices are pretty good. The workers there are honest and kind.

If you are nostalgic of Sénégal and the smells of being in a food market with West African groceries, smoked and dried fishes, halal chicken and meat, this is the place to shop for your various West African dishes. Senegalese dishes in particular.

3 hours to load for 4 pallets after saying the load would be ready at 10am. Get there at 1110 still loading at 215pm..

Very difficult woman to deal with.. Most of her food products stay in the store for a long period so they expire and she is difficult when you face her. No good customer service. I don't advise no one going there.. there are many stores in New York. Though not all products are bad there but, most are expired and she does not admit it. Rubbish.

Friendly, helpful staff. Well-organized and good selection. An ideal place to shop at if you're going to multiple stores; good prices on imported items, while other items are quite expensive.

One stop shop for your African groceries..a little bit pricey but the store is clean and well organized..friendly staff too..family owned. Love the store..my go to place.

Thi biggest, the cleanest store in NYC they have everything coming from Africa great customer service very friendly I will recommend to everyone thank you ADJA KHADY for your innovation

I was too pleased when I happened upon Adja Kady's in Little Senegal in Harlem. I found all the things I was looking for to make proper Sierra Leonean "Plassas." They had Cassava Leaves, Potatoe Leaves, Ogiri, Dried Fish and Scotch Bonnet Peppers! I'm all set and now have a go to place to buy all my West African food staples.

I can only speak on the fresh French bread they sell in the front of the store. It's kept in a warmer so it is deliciously warm & begging for butter. I try not to binge on it. But you have to get it early in the evening b/c it sells hella quick!!!! Craving some NOW!!! FYI: don't expect the old lady @ the counter to do anything besides give u dirty looks. I go in there all the time, always politely greet & her she still gives me the damn side eye
