Coronavirus Curfew Rules Don’t Apply in Westminster | Eater London

"Designated as a "workplace canteen," this parliamentary bar complied with initial lockdown rules and closed in March but was later reopened to MPs during the summer. That classification has been used to exempt the venue from the 10pm curfew and from certain staff mask mandates, a move that has been criticized as a loophole-driven privilege. The situation has amplified public frustration about perceived unequal treatment under COVID rules — with commentators even jabbing that such places might next be offering eye tests — and reinforced the view that the curfew is more symbolic than scientifically or economically justified." - James Hansen

I had such a great experience at Adjourn! I recently attended the slow pour class and it was everything I needed! Not only did I learn more about the power of tea and what health benefits come from each ingredient, but LaTonia was a great instructor. Super resourceful and such warming vibes. I highly recommend her tea blends and adding a class to your list!

Adjourn Teahouse was such a beautiful and calming experience! From the moment I walked in, LaTonia made it warm and welcoming. She was incredibly knowledgeable about all the herbs and ingredients, explaining each one in a way that made the process of curating my own tea both educational and fun. I loved that she took the time to make it personal, asking about my preferences and guiding me toward a blend that felt just right. If you’re looking for more than just a cup of tea, but an experience that feels intentional, relaxing, and customized just for you… this is the place to go. Highly recommend! Ps- my fave tea to take home was Root & Flow

If you haven’t tried Adjourn Teahouse - don’t walk, RUN! Her energy is unmatched and the teas are perfection! I went to pick up some teas for a gift basket and ended up getting some for myself. I’m ready to swing back for a slow pour experience!

The Slow Pour at Adjourn Studio is a truly special experience. The space itself feels calming and welcoming, and the event invites you to slow down and be fully present. LaTonia, the founder, led us with such warmth and intention. Learning about her journey added a beautiful depth to the experience. The opening meditation set the perfect tone, and the personalized tea blending made it feel both creative and meaningful. My friend and I shared so many memorable moments — from laughter to deep reflection — and made genuine connections. If you're in Maryland, I highly recommend adding The Slow Pour to your plans. It's an intimate, uplifting experience you won’t forget.

I regret not going to Adjourn sooner! This space has been on my list for so long, and I finally made it. Such a lovely space, the tea blends are amazing, and the owner, Tonia is so personable and lovely. Highly recommend visiting and supporting Adjourn.

The business operations are a bit too casual for my liking. If you're ordering online, expect to wait up to two weeks for domestic delivery.
