We couldn’t believe that the reviews could possibly be true, but the Adler Lodge actually exceeded our expectations in every way! We stayed in a main lodge room for 7 nights at the beginning of June. I have never stayed at an all-inclusive lodge that is so generous with what they include in the price. Not only do they include all meals and drinks, but the food is outstanding, and the dinners include 4 or 5 courses with excellent wine pairings. We tasted so many great wines, most of them from the local wine region. They also include cocktails (the bar is self-service, or any of the waiters will be happy to mix you a drink) and unlimited cappuccinos/lattes. Breakfast is an incredible buffet that includes freshly baked breads, cakes, croissants, fruit, yoghurt, muesli, an array of cheeses and cured meats, freshly squeezed juices, and hot egg dishes made to order. Lunch is also a buffet, including a very fresh and extensive salad bar, soup, hot entrees, cheeses, charcuterie, and breads. Also included in the room price is the use of a well-maintained fleet of e-mountain bikes, which we made extensive use of, trekking poles, backpacks, and an array of guided daily activities, from hikes to bike rides to yoga/stretching. Not to mention the two incredible saunas (which have panoramic views of the mountains), indoor/outdoor infinity pool, workout room, and many wonderful places to hang out and relax. All of the staff members were excellent, but we’d especially like to mention Zlatan, Michele, Nicolantonio, Arix, and Giovanni in the restaurant, Kathrin at the front desk, and Ilaria in the spa. All went out of their way to make our experience great. Our room was incredibly comfortable and well-designed, with so many thoughtful details and one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in. This is without question the best-run hotel of any kind that we’ve ever stayed in. I just hope that the management continues to run it the way they do now - we are customers for life and we can’t wait to come back!
