"This classic restaurant in the heart of Toledo’s historic quarter boasts a delightful patio-cum-dining room dating back to the 12C, and has had a new lease of life under the command of the sons of the owner, the legendary Adolfo Muñoz. The cuisine is centred around a single seasonal tasting menu that has a strong focus on herbs and vegetables from the latter’s own country estate. The cooking here is also healthy, tasty and respectful of tradition, albeit from a more contemporary perspective, and features options such as organic green asparagus from nearby Camuñas, with turmeric and Melanosporum black truffle, and suckling pig served with its own jus and a fruit compote. Why not complete your dining experience with a visit to the superb underground wine cellar!" - Michelin Inspector

What an experience. The afternoon started with a private tour of their extensive wine cellar, which the Collection is not to miss. With the incredible tasting of a 1970 Rioja followed by an exquisite 6 course tasting menu with each dish being explained by the wonderful Cecilia - we came all as friends, left as family. I cannot recommend enough, if you go to Toledo, you have to go. If you don’t believe me - look in their guest book, with comments from Johnny Depp and Gwyneth Paltrow to name a few.

It was one of the most incredible experiences of my Life. The place takes you back in time combining with the contemporary menu. It is a very original way of tasting traditional and typical plates of Toledo, with a very modern presentation. The decoration, the food, and the hospitality of the workers was amazing, a very cozy place to live a diferent and wonderful experience.

Nothing screams: ESPAÑA! More than a meal at Adolfo Restaurant. 90% of the ingredients are from a 1Km radius, especially the wine that comes from their vineyard. I learned that Adolfo is the name of the father/ founder and now the restaurant is managed by his son Javier. If you read till here I’ll give you a tip: ask to see the Chef, Javi and you’re more likely to make a friend for life.

Brilliant food experience in the centre of Toledo! Had lunch at Adolfo Restaurante and loved it. The tasting menu masterfully blended tradition and innovation, with highlights like the seasonal mushrooms and the melt-in-your-mouth white snapper. Each dish told a story of rich culinary heritage, elevated with modern techniques and seasonal, local ingredients. The ambiance was elegant yet welcoming, and the staff’s passion for the food and impeccable wine pairings made it even more special.

A can't miss restaurant in the heart of Toledo. With tour of the under ground caves they turned into a wine cellar with an excellent and impressive collection of wine. The food is fresh, light and right on point!

The best experience in Spain hands down. It’s a must when in Toledo. Food was incredible, but the ambience and the staff are unbeatable. Cecilia treated us with care, kindness and attention like we were her only table and the chef Javi Muñoz is a mastermind in the kitchen and true showman.

What a great experience! The food was exceptional. We were taken on a tour to see the wine cave, and it was amazing. The service was spectacular! We'll go again on our next visit to Toledo.
