Expect dishes like chicken ghalaba, eggplant with rice, and more. Prices are $32 for adults and $22 for children ages 5 to 11, and children under 5 eat for free. For those who indulge in hookah, a regular head goes for $15 and the orange head is available for $19." - Serena Maria Daniels

I called to make reservations for my family. I confirmed the prices over the phone and online. No where at any point was a $25 gratuity mentioned. Price is way too high for kids especially because there was nothing for the kids. My kid is 14 and had a plate of rice and scoop of curry for $33.99. Was seated right by the door. Men started smoking cigarettes while we were in the middle of our food right behind us

Went for the Ramadan Iftar buffet, wasn't a fan of the food and it was very pricey compared to other Iftar buffets. 15% gratuity was already added even though it was a self serve buffet and there were only 3 of us.

Extremely pricey….77$ for two person buffet and that too the food was over within few minutes. The food did not taste bad but the prices are unreasonable.

They had 10 dishes for their buffet, their food is as good as homemade food. The owners themselves take care of the guests and make sure everything is alright. They charge only $32 per person for such a huge variety buffet while many other restaurants are charging more than that for 4 dishes on their buffet. Definitely worth every penny.

First of all i don’t usually leave reviews, but i felt obligated to. Food lacked variety and was bland and uninspired ,what was interesting is that some food items were being replaced by different kinds of foods when what was initially being served finished which I can’t say I have seen before. The main dishes were not representative of our rich heritage and kitchen, and to be completely honest i did not even know the names of some items , the dessert buffet was not bad in itself but the choice of items was uninspired yet again and very limited. The layout of the buffet was not well thought out and could have made better choices with the layout to streamline the process. We were asked one time what we would like to drink and although I understand that the place was very busy, waiters need to be more attentive and need to smile more and do a better job at head counting on the table to avoid needless questions at checkout about the number of people who were there for iftaar. I am not one to complain, but this was a truly regrettable decision and i wish them all the best but much needs to be improved and it starts with listening to customers.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Adonis for iftar with a group of 10 people, and I must say, my experience was nothing short of delightful. Despite some recent negative reviews, I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality of both the food and the service. First and foremost, I was impressed by how easy it was to secure a reservation for our large group. The staff were accommodating and friendly, making the booking process hassle-free. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and made to feel right at home. The customer service throughout the evening was attentive and prompt, adding to the overall positive experience. Now, let's talk about the food. Contrary to some of the negative feedback I had read, I found the dishes to be flavorful and well-prepared. Each bite was a delightful explosion of taste. There was definitely a sense of warmth and intimacy that made me feel like I was dining with family. The cozy setting and attentive staff created a welcoming environment that added an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal. Overall, my experience exceeded my expectations in every way. I left feeling satisfied and grateful for the opportunity to share such a memorable iftar with my family and friends. I wholeheartedly recommend giving Adonis a try.

"From the moment we stepped into Adonis restaurant, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of warmth and professionalism that carried throughout our entire dining experience. The host welcomed us with a genuine smile and promptly guided us to our table, setting the stage for an evening of exceptional service. Our server, Mousa, truly went above and beyond. Not only was he attentive and swift, but his insights into the menu were invaluable, guiding us through an array of tantalizing choices with expert recommendations that did not disappoint. The culinary delights arrived with impeccable timing, each course perfectly paced to allow us to savor every bite in anticipation of the next. What impressed us further was the attentive oversight from the management team; a thoughtful check-in by the manager underscored their commitment to guest satisfaction. The staff’s proactive and gracious handling of of the details only highlighted their exceptional service ethos. This visit to Adonis restaurant was not just a meal; it was a curated dining experience that left us eagerly anticipating our next visit. I wholeheartedly recommend Adonis restaurant for anyone seeking not just a meal, but an adventure in culinary excellence paired with service that truly makes you feel valued."

Yelp
I visited this place for the first time yesterday. We called them at 4:30 to ask if we needed to make reservations for the Iftar buffet, they said yes, and took our name down for 3 people. On the way to the place, my husband called them to let them know that we're running a little bit late. They said sure no problem. When we get there, the girl on the front desk couldn't locate our name in the reserved guests list. Then a gentleman walks up and asks us repeatedly if and when we called in to make reservations. I showed them my call log so they could see we were not lying (I have never had to do this anywhere else before). The guy still seems unsure, and asks us to sit down at the table right next to the front desk. Seriously? We didn't come asking them for free food. What was supposed to be a good iftar dinner turned out to be the worst dining experience ever. My husband and I both felt extremely insulted and walked out. All this is happening 20 mins before Iftar time. The guy keeps saying it's okay don't worry sit down sit down. Well that's not how this works buddy. You should take classes on how to treat your customers. If I can't even trust you to take my name down for reservations, you don't deserve my business. We were treated like royalty at another place nearby, where reservations were required, but they welcomed us with open arms when we walked in without one. I don't care how good or bad the food is at Adonis, if they can't show respect, they're not worth it. I'd give them zero stars.

Yelp
I stopped in Adonis to grab a quick bite to eat during my lunch break. It's gorgeous in here, I loved that I could sit on a couch with pillows and eat! Make sure you walk into the correct entrance or you'll be wandering through an empty banquet hall wondering where the heck everyone is lol. Anyway, I ordered a fattoush salad with chicken and a pot of tea. Everything was delicious. The salad had fresh veggies and was topped with a ton of yummy grilled chicken, it lasted me two meals. Service was attentive. Prices are pretty reasonable. The food was good and the Arabian style interior is lovely so I'm surprised it's not busier here.

Yelp
The first reviewer, Krupa U, gave a pretty spot on review of this place. I agree with her totally. One small correction - the $10/person cover charge I believe is only on Saturday nights. So perhaps enjoying this place on a Friday night is more cost effective. However I believe that Saturday night has the most over the top entertainment after 11pm (belly dancer, live singers, music, drummers, circle dancing, etc.) I am not sure if they bring out the whole enchilada like that on a Friday night. All in all great place. It's also the only alcohol serving hookah place I've seen in metro Detroit. However the lack of competition in that department is probably why there are no drink specials and the drinks are a little steep. Cranberry Vodkas that you can barely taste the vodka in - cost $7-8. That's a bit steep for a hookah place. I think $4-5 would be a more fair price. All in all, this is a live entertainment, hookah, dinner and cocktails lounge that during the peak hours will definitely impress your guests. Pricing is a bit steep for this premium experience so order items cautiously. Booths along the walls are comfortable and feel very VIP, but patrons with booths are sort of expected to rack up bills in the triple digits.

Yelp
Located on Michigan Ave., Adonis Restaurant and Nightclub is definitely a hidden Arabian gem. This isn't your typical fri/sat night dinner/dancing experience, with hookah, food, belly dancers, and live musicians/singers, and THE ONLY HOOKAH PLACE I KNOW OF THAT SERVES ALCOHOLIC DRINKS...it's much more than that... Definitely call to make reservations (I recommend going with a group of 4 or more, it's more fun that way; with a bigger party you can request a booth which is more comfortable and relaxing). The show starts at 11 with a belly dancer for the first 30 min, she does a variety of songs and makes her way through the room, dancing near each table. They also have live musicians/singers, playing traditional Arabic songs. A drummer comes on stage, invoking the crowd to come in a circle dance on the main floor, which is very exciting to see and to join in on since the steps are easy. They have open floor dancing as well. Order a regular hookah tower for $16.99 and $6.99 for refills (they have other hookah towers for slightly higher prices). Their menu has lots of good Arabic choices, but if you're going with a group they also have large combo platters... and when i say large i mean large... coffee table-top size platters with chicken, lamb, hommous, tabouli, fattoosh, pita, etc. My only gripe about this place is that they have a $10 cover charge per person... They already have infalted drink, hookah and food prices, so I don't see why they should have a cover charge. But it's definitely an experience so I recommend you try it out at least once.

Yelp
A lot of shady people there. I went to party with my friends and it was really uncomfortable. The food was cold and horrible. The staff had an attitude with me. My friend got sick the day after the party!!! It's not my favorite place.

Yelp
This place has reopened from years ago when it wasn't so popular. But, I cannot believe I haven't tried this earlier. This is my new favorite middle eastern restaurant!! Our starters, salad and hummus were crazy good. We ordered two chicken entrees-the deboned and chicken w/mushrooms. Wow! The most juicy cooked to perfection chicken I've ever had! Both dishes were so delicious. My dish, the chicken and mushrooms was marinated so well and I'm craving it again. Fries were made to a golden crisp and that's my favorite as well. Can't wait to come back. This restaurant decor is so pretty I love it. Also, staff was so friendly and made sure everything was nothing less than perfect. You MUST try this place, I'm sure it'll be your new fave as well.

Yelp
Slow service. They did not have things on the menu. Took forever to get your check/change.

Yelp
Meh. All the reviews below are about right. The place is beautiful, Saturday night entertainment is wowing and the food is good... BUUUT the drinks are watered down and WAY too expensive, the Argileh is WAY too expensive, and the service is often very poor. Especially if you aren't Arabic, you may experience a bit of static from the hostess in trying to get a seat. (Or you may be seated WAAAY in the back to leave room for Arabic people coming in) A few girlfriends and I went one weekend (I had been a regular but this was their first time) We ordered 2 drinks each, and a hookah that all of us shared.... when we got the bill it was over $90!! When we asked why we had been charged so much, the waitress explained that all of our drinks had been around $8-9 a piece (strip club prices!) and the cover charge was factored in as well as the hookah (which was around $17!) So, it was a nice treat, but you can experience this kind of entertainment for much less money with much better service elsewhere. All you have to do is look around Dearborn a little bit. Its too bad because this place is absolutely GORGEOUS inside. It looks like a palace.

Yelp
Throw out the window of what you thought this place was. New owners with a new vision. They have a banquet room (not an Arabic night club anymore) and a full operating restaurant attached next door. Remodeled, revamped and brought back to life. Beautiful interior and amazing mediterranean food food, but my fav is by far the lamb chops. They're a must! Go! I promise you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Anything you've ever known or heard about the restaurant named Adonis needs to be thrown out. They've been opened, closed and reopened a few times over the years. They have reopened again with a new crew. I think finally someone has figured it out. Cleaned up the inside with some majors changes. This place is HUGE and can easily seat big groups comfortably. Fatoosh is perfect. The deboned chicken was excellent!

Yelp
This place is absolutely stunning! I went to a bridal shower at this place and it was beautiful. The food was great too. It's redeeming itself from its terrible reputation of an Arab night club. Now it's nothing near that and is a beautiful banquet hall.

Yelp
Had birthday celebration here the food was not worthy of the 1,200 dollar that was paid 5 trays came out that was not enough to feed a table of 5 will not recommend

Yelp
Walked in and received a nasty attitude from one of the works in forming they are closed at eleven.

Yelp
This place has really turned around. I agree with previous reviews but have been recently and it is beautiful. Food is on point and service is great.

Yelp
Love this place great food and music I've been there for weddings and parties when they bring celebrities from Lebanon. The manager mahmoud is the best manager he's so nice and accommodating. It's a great place for families as well.

Lath M.

Yelp
Beautiful place, the food was good. I heard bad things but I guess they are under new management. The salad was fresh and the dressing was delicious. The chicken was good and the mushroom sauce was perfect. Keep up the good work.

Yelp
Great service thanks to FAY,RAJIE,ATIF, and ABDUL!!!!!!! They make a great team. I will be back.

Yelp
Everyone was nice and there was a very nice atmosphere until i found a bandaid in my fattoush. I asked the waitress if she can get another one and she looked at me and rolled her eyes and took it for me. No problem until she came back empty handed and told me that i need to pay half the price for second fattoush. So first i have to pay for a dish that had a bandaid in it and then i had to pay another half so i can get another one!!! no thank you. I spoke to the manager and he was the one that decided the whole thing. Never going back and do not suggest anyone to ever go there.

Sdnss S.

Yelp
i called to make reservations for a group of 4, when we got their we waited for 2 and half hours till we got seated. The host seemed to be taking in groups of people that she knew before us!!! five groups ranging between 3-8 people got seated before us WITHOUT reservations. When we complained to the manager that we've been waiting for 2.5 hours he said you just have to wait your turn, even though we had reservations. In the end the food was not even worth it.

Dr U.

Yelp
It's the worst res ever, the food is very bad and the people there are rude, and soo expensive. I will ever go there again !!!
