"This brand new concept from Chef Michael Shaugnessy and wife/business partner Viorica Pierce promises to showcase locally-sourced, seasonal vegetables. The online menu is clearly labeled and adaptable for dietary preferences and gluten allergies – and while Advellum labels itself as a veggie eatery, it isn’t strictly vegetarian." - Alicia Banaszewski

The food is amazing! I had the Bowl Lotta Love with chicken (they have plant based protein options too) while my SO had the Current Harvest, and we were both blown away by the depth of flavor and the love that was evident in each dish. Their menu is full of vegetarian, gluten free and vegan offerings but they've also got meat for those of us that want it. I've had the pleasure of trying out some of their other food at a pop up (Benjamin Bacon, Ave Toast, Bury Beet, and Captain Brussels) and everything was a winner. I'm excited to try whatever their veggie loving minds come up with. Including that pushpop they have for dessert.

Stopped in at MYM for the first time a few weeks ago and tried Advellums’ food! We had the avocado toast and the Benjamin bacon, and it was amazing! Everything about it was great, from the presentation to the taste! I will definitely go back to try all their other dishes!

In a word YUM! The pictures don’t capture the vibrant of the vegetables, the marriage of flavors was wonderful, and the salmon was a prefect med-rare! Chef Micheal we will be back!

I am deliciously stunned! This place has options for vegans, vegetarians, AND omnivores. The Bowl Lotta Love was a masterfully crafted assortment of textures and tastes. Can’t wait to come back soon and try something else 🤤🌶🍍🌱

Just look at these nachos! They were a good choice, but there are so many things on the menu I want to try. Great service, too!

OK All - I didn't think I liked salmon and it turns out it's GREAT because Chef Mike makes it so! My husband had the GRYO and loved it!! The is the BEST STOP at Market at Malcom Yards!! Per my previous post - When you think you’ve had good food, then try the BEST FOOD!! Plus it’s a family atmosphere and they cater to allergies. Trust me, I should know working at Market at Malcolm Yards for almost 6 months. Don’t think it’s just veggies my friends. It’s veggies with a side of optional protein with a main ingredient of FLAVOR!!!

Sooo delicious! We got the Benjamin Bacon, nachos with their vegan queso, carrot juice, and salmon. All so pretty and very tasty! I Can’t wait to go back and try more of their food and drinks!

Yelp
I enjoyed my meal immensely from this eatery I was surprised about the open environments where is vendor was located. As a visitor to St. Paul I was impressed with the order and cleanliness of the entire area The food and presentation was wonderful The servers are very informative and were able to answer questions about the menu. Very helpful

Yelp
Advellum Vegetable Eatery is in the Market at Malcom Yards. It's pretty much immediately behind the welcome desk, which was quite convenient considering that we had come specifically to give it a try. Ordering was easy, and I got the text saying that my food was ready within the 5-10 minute estimate that they'd provided. We wound up ordering the vegan version of the nachos, and they were tasty. With queso, piles of fresh vegetables, and some lovely faux chorizo from the Herbivorous Butcher, they were quite inviting. They reminded me of the nachos I used to order when I went to in my grad school days. The ingredients were fresh, and the corn and beans added quite a bit of sweetness. The nachos weren't at all spicy, which I missed a bit, but it wasn't a dealbreaker. Warning 1: these are messy. There is no way to eat them gracefully or tidily. Warning 2: the fresh veggies are cool, so the warm ingredients underneath will cool off... dig in right away! A note for the obligate carnivores out there: even though this is a "vegetable eatery," it is not vegetarian/vegan. There are lots of options for vegetarians and vegans, yes, but many items on the menu are designed for non-vegetarians, too, including dishes with fish, poultry, and red meat.

Yelp
Advellum is inside The Market at Malcolm Yards and bills itself as a "vegetable eatery" and vegetable-focused spot. It serves a variety of bowls that can be customized with different meats or Herbivorous Butcher vegan meats. It's perfectly fine, but nothing amazing (hence the 3 star review, which is NOT a bad review in my book). It does serve chicken, pork, fish and cheese on the menu, so don't fool yourself into thinking it's a vegan spot. We got the Bowl Lotta Love and added Herbivorous Butcher smokey ribs to it ($14 + $5 for the ribs). The bowl was tasty and light, but extremely expensive given the quantity and quality of the food. At the end of the day, it was a quinoa salad with a few vegetables and mockmeats from an outside vendor (granted, I love Herbivorous Butcher). If Advellum added a breakfast sandwich with cashew cheese or maybe more sandwich options (how about a banh mi?) it would be a place I'd visit regularly. As it stands, if you happen to be at Malcolm Yards and want vegan options, Advellum is fine and Momo Dosa or Wrecktangle Pizza are two other options.

Yelp
Advellum is inside the Market at Malcolm Yards, which features lots of places making unique dishes you won't find elsewhere. We tried the mushroom burger from Advellum, which I thought was a perfect version of a mushroom burger. I don't care for those fake meats with heme that make it appear to be bleeding. Ick. The one here has savory chunks of mushrooms, wild rice and quinoa and is served on a fresh sesame bun with a tasty sauce, jalapeños and pickled onions. Hot, crisp, juicy and a nice contrast to the big pile of Asian style cole slaw next to it. Really great flavor.

Yelp
We've noticed this place for a while but something usually gets in the way of going there. In the Winter I questioned the access but no such reservation exists in clear, warm weather. The building itself is nearly top of the line in accessibility; I say "nearly " because the front entry on the SE side by the accessible parking area has a manual door. So bring a buddy of you have serious mobility deficits. Once inside it couldn't be easier. It's a flat, smooth concrete deck. The restrooms on the East end are built with no doors, except the family room, like Costco. Now the food. If you can't find something to enjoy here, then start experimenting. You'll probably be surprised at what you like. I'm an Omnivore and the vegan mushroom/ wild rice burger was delicious. I just had them hold the chili peppers because I'm Minnesota bland on my diet. In this market are nine food outlets and a bar. The variety of foods is too long to elaborate here. Just trust they can accommodate nearly any diet. It's casual and open in its vibe. I was a bit confused upon entry to the market when there was a desk there with a sign up notice. But it turns out it's just for bar patrons to set up an account. The food vendors are pay as you go. I'm certainly going back to the market to try some other dishes.

Yelp
I ordered Benjamin Bacon, excellent combination platter of pork belly with healthy Mungbean pancake. Don't get scare away by the fatty pork belly, because I can assure you the oiliness or the calories is compensated with the crispy Mungbean pancake under and the sourness of kimchi to help freshen up. The plating is very pretty too that it got quite a few garnish on top with cilantro and shredded spring onion. In overall, I am extremely satisfied with the choice that I have made!

Yelp
This whole market is fantastic but I personally love the vegan options! We have eaten the Boomer burger and the spring rolls both tasted fresh and fabulous!

Yelp
Ooh my lunch today was so good! How refreshing it is to have a healthy choice at a food hall! I had the bowl lotta love with grilled salmon and it was so so good! Thumbs up! It also was very filling which was a nice change of pace. Usually veggie centric restaurants =tiny portions. Also whoever the two were who made my meal and checked me out A+ for hospitality.

Yelp
This place was a huge surprise. Initially I thought $15 for lunch was pricey but this is one of the best meals we've had in a while. If you're vegan or vegetarian this is an absolute must stop. Every bite was a delight.

Yelp
The Wild Boomer Burger- their wild rice and mushroom patty - is fabulous! It has a great texture and didn't fall apart like many burgers of its kind.

Yelp
Had the slammin salmon- could have licked the plate clean it was so good and my friend loved her veggie burger. Definitely recommend

Yelp
Stopping here a little awhile ago, was a nice treat. I mean I stopped here for dinner, looking at all the good options on the menu, and trying to decide what to get. It was a difficult choice, until I remembered that I should give the boomer burger a try. Of course it only took a few minutes to get my food, but so worth the wait. Since not only did it look good, but just tasted even better. Who knew that the flavors were just so fresh, and it was the best tasting burger that I have had for awhile. I liked that it didn't have any of the greasy aftereffects. It actually filled me up, and definitely worth the price as well. It would be so good to go back again sometime.

Amber D.

Yelp
I had to come here to say the slammin salmon was the best meal I have had in a long time. Every single element on the plate came together so perfectly, I can't imagine ordering anything else at the Market. I'm already planning my next trip over. So good.

Yelp
I had the Boomer burger. Fabulous. Best vegan burger and sauce I have ever had! Flavorful and moist. Kind of messy but worth it.
