Adventure Kayak & Stand Up Paddleboard

This guy is AWESOME. From the moment I emailed him to the moment we pulled the kayaks out of the water, he provided A1 customer service! He was able to work with our hectic Saturday morning schedule and had our kayak out and ready for us once we finally got there. We ended up paddling the Northwest River for about 4 hours. We went out unguided, but when we returned, he offered a TON of useful information on other kayak locations. We look forward to using Adventure Kayak & SUP again! Thank you!!

Great kayaking trip made possible by Kevin and crew. Quickly answered several pre-trip questions with great advice, and further tips upon excursion which made for an amazing trip on the Northwest River. Saturday morning in the summer, with only 1 boat encounter over 2 hours. Saw several bird species while paddling through the cypress trees thanks to Kevin's recommendation for the outing. Will definitely rent again (even though we already have our own) on our next trip as the whole process was superb!

We had an awesome time. We only rented one to add to our fleet, but that one was very good! The guide was helpful as we are new to this river. Explained the best way to tour the river and what to avoid. Very nice put-in, and the rental covers parking. We will be back!

Wonderful experience, ease of emailing to coordinate was just as simple. The scenery is beautiful. Looking forward to trying it with fall foilage. Kevin was so helpful and pleasant.

Sunset tour to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Kevin is fantastic, lots of knowledge about the area and its history. Great local business. Would definitely book another tour with them.

Rented two kayaks at the end of the summer and had a great time paddling down absolutely glass-smooth water on the Black River! Lots of turtles and birds hanging out along the banks. Even my wife had a good time even though this was another “guy” activity that she wouldn’t have to do if only we’d had a daughter instead of three boys which is clearly my fault somehow. 10/10 will return!

Had a blast! Kevin was very helpful and courteous and knowledgeable. He made the first timers feel safe and at ease and you can't beat the price. I will definitely use this co again to rent kayaks.

Great experience. It was our first-time kayaking and it was amazing. Me and my daughter had a wonderful time. Adventure kayak gave us some great instructions and I felt safe on the water. I will definitely be coming back soon.!!

Took the sunset kayak tour with Kevin on a recent Saturday. Perfect conditions. Kevin is an excellent guide who generously shares his knowledge of nature and history along with helpful kayaking tips for the beginner (me). The two hours flew by.

This was our second outing with Adventure Kayak. This time at Great Bridge Lock Bridge in Chesapeake. The kayaks, paddles and life vests are first class. The reservation and online payment were easy. We had a great time on the water. All good.

Good, informative, exploratory fun. It seemed strange being around the airport for whatever reason, but it turned into a fun adventure through some seemingly "secret" back cove (half covered/half open) waterways, hidden in plain sight kinda deal.

Stephanie was super helpful in booking the kayak tour. And it was very easy to make a payment via invoice. When we got to the site, Kevin was very helpful in teaching us that hadn't kayaked before how to hold the paddle and get ready for the tour, including the life jacket. Very organized and was super happy to get pictures and knowledge about the area as we were on the ride. Would definitely recommend for anyone that had or hadn't kayaked before.

Kevin was fantastic -- super friendly service, and was able to get us in for a paddle really quickly. He's super knowledgeable about the area, and offered us plenty of routes to try out. Will definitely be booking with him again. Highly recommend.

We completed a tour yesterday and could not be more pleased. Kevin is a top notch guide. He is prompt, professional and works very hard to take care of his customers. His knowledge of the local area wildlife and history make the trip all that more enjoyable. I will tour with him again and see what other trips he has to offer. Highly recommended.
