"A small gem of a restaurant with a contemporary minimalist-style decor. The highly creative and technically modern cuisine has the same Nordic style as the dining room, influenced by the chef’s experience working in a number of Michelin-starred restaurants in Scandinavia. The menu changes every month and consists of twelve different dishes, with a minimum of four in the evening. Organic wines and a small outdoor dining space complete the picture." - Michelin Inspector

Sadly, very dissapointing. My family had high hopes coming here. My partner and I, both trained chefs from Copenhagen, were hoping to treat our family to a special meal and experience while on holiday, but æde didnt deliver. The food is served in very small portions, which is to be expected in a michelin restaurant, but for an 8-course menu that lasted us about 3 hours, they were too small and not very filling.. Most dishes seemed very oddly thrown together, not in presentation (clearly a lot of hard work was put into tweezer plating, id even worry too much) but taste-combinations. Half the dishes just tasted plain weird. We got a dish with an oyster sauce that straight up tasted like blended oysters with butter and looked like grey goop. The restaurant calls itself 'nordic inspired' however i saw little to none inspiration from the nordics in the ingredients besides a bit of rye and ofc the mandatory ferments, that are very common for Michelin restaurants. I couldnt help but notice that the chefs in the kitchen, preparing our food looked really tired and sad, too. They had not spoken a single word to eachother in the time we were there. Not even a 'yes, chef'. Lastly the restaurant had no soft drink options, only wine and water. Very dissapointing.

Innovative and playful dishes. Local ingredients but reinvented, they change the menu every month. Wine paring and service were also great. The Chef and the kitchen team was very young. Came here woth my parents we will Definetly come back!

Phenomenal food, amazing menu, and great service. Two of my favorite dishes I added a photo of, but the menu is delicious all the way through. Highly recommend

We visited this restaurant and chose the six-course menu, which turned out to be an excellent decision! Every dish was perfectly prepared, with carefully selected ingredients and a great balance of flavors. I especially want to praise the staff – extremely kind and professional waiters who made sure our experience was flawless. They handled my gluten intolerance exceptionally well—I was provided with gluten-free bread and pasta, and they explained everything in detail, which I truly appreciate. The ambiance is lovely, the service is impeccable, and the food is top-notch. This is definitely a place we will return to! Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy outstanding gastronomy.

Alright, so, our experience was really not great. And I would not recommend this place to anyone if the experience would be similar to ours. We were left waiting 15 mins, standing, for the table to be set up. Then, the guys printed our menus, as we were waiting at the table, and it took another 25mins for those menus to reach us. Good, it’s 22:35 already and kitchen is supposed to be closed at 23. As the order was being taken, we raised the timing concern - to which the reaction was quite rude and highlighting how this situation was not great for them. Sounds about right. The rest of the evening was uneventful. Yes, some very interesting dishes. Nicely presented. Would particularly recommend the leak risotto, the scallops, the trout. I have to say though - we felt the whole time rushed to leave the place. As in, eat and get moving. I’m guessing for anyone eating out, that would not qualify as a pleasant experience. The service was poor, for a price and type of place that would not justify it. In total honesty, it’s a pity. It would have been such a promising place otherwise.

Service was great - food had great presentation too. I think fermentation is just not my cup of tea and is something to know before coming here. They experiment with fermentation of food I believe because everything that I ate was a little on the (sour?) side. I think if you enjoy that type of cuisine, you’d probably like it. The tasting menu is worth the price.

This place is incredible! It’s a hidden gem that deserves a star on the Michigan map, not just a nod. The chef is super creative, and they get their message across without being too over-the-top. We absolutely loved it! And the best part? It’s reasonably priced at 80 euros per person for 8 courses. Unlike some other 1-star restaurants that charge you 3 stars prices, this place is worth every penny.
