Minus stars if I could. Travelling on business and my company rearranged and moved closer flight for 2099 pounds fee…. I was kept waiting for one hour plus to issue my boarding pass. Extremely rude supervisor and even I told her after waiting for half hour I lost my father yesterday and my company rescheduled my flight… I asked how much I need to wait on the spot….. I needed to board the flight or look and book another flight if they are not able to find my ticket. At the end I was rude for grabbing my passport from her hand too quick which then she asked for it again immediately and kept getting sassy comments from her for another 30 min from other side of the counter….. Not to mention they changed names on the tickets…. Issued new ones…. 15-20 customers barged in that one hour….. Excuse was they are on earlier flight but not with apology… Just live with it and wait. Extremely bad experience. Will think again when I will use Aer Lingus. Really, really bad. I repeated again to the supervisor when they issued my ticket, that I am not happy and I am going to my father’s funeral. I was emotionally stressed from my personal things and did not really need extra hassle and to enhance my stress even more from the Air Lingus employees….. They just called me to check my passport again while sitting in the lounge…. Harassment did not stop.

I had flight to catch EL 44 for Aer Lingus terminal 7 from JFK today to Manchester. I was entertained at counter 4 from the left by mid aged Guyanese women. She was wearing specs and asked for passport containing visa. We handed over the passport then she asked for E-visa which is pretty new we had snaps for booking number we showed but she insisted upon the photo visa from the website. I needed some time to login to my account via email and my daughter was helping me but the Aer Lingus assistant was showing very cold shoulder and not giving us enough time to process or help us even any how in that uncomfortable atmosphere we managed taking out our E-Visa and showed her. And she handed us boarding pass. Well the flight was delayed by 3 hours but she didn’t bothered telling us. Anyways when we saw through screen that flight is delayed we went ahead to another of their counter to confirm that flight is delayed so that same lady 4 counter away shouted from there that to the employee that don’t change their seats. We were in utter disbelief that how can she presume what we are asking, it seemed very insulting so my daughter spoke back that we are confirming for flight delay and not changing seats. Anyways we decided to talk to her manager for her rude behavior. In the meantime my son in law asked that Guyanese lady for her name and she tried hiding her identity which is a huge red flag. Once the manager arrived she seemed misinformed by the Guyanese lady as the manager started inquiring us about our identity though I had my boarding with me. The manager didn’t bothered making an eye contact with me and we confronted her that it seems disrespectful that we are talking and you are not even bothered looking at us. Well after looking at my identity once more she bothered hearing to me. My only point was that assistant was right in insisting me upon showing E-visa and though she gave cold shoulder in not helping us at all that’s fine too but it was utter disrespect to shout from an another counter at the assistant assisting us confirming that flight is actually delayed that please don’t change seats. Well then the manager Sandy addressed the concern and apologized but that concerned assistant standing right didn’t bothered to apologize which is shameful. And we being courteous thanked Sandy that she listened came out of her work and apologized too.

Some attendants were horrible in regards to customer service on our flight to Ireland. We were treated as if we were children. Flight attendants def are somewhat frown faced and no smiles. Needs lesson on good customer service. It's not that hard. The audio visual always gets cut off after an announcement is made by the pilot which defeats the purpose of watching the movies. Also the announcement is WAY WAY TOO LOUD and hurts everyone's ears whenever an announcement is made when you use an ear plug. It still hurts as I write this review. On a good note, the chairs were def wider than TAP airlines which is what we took when we went to Lisbon.

Have had a great time on flights ZRH-DUB-JFK and retour in Business Class. Even if it was my first Business Class flight at all and I can not yet compare to other Airlines, it was really fantastic! Fair prices, charming service abord and the feeling of being at home over the clouds. Just wonderful. +++ A320/A330 were quite modern Immigration at DUB Lounges at DUB and JFK

Best option if flying from the USA to Ireland in business class. They have their own lounge at JFK T5 and a permanent check in set up. Great food, staff, seat. The only thing lacking is the entertainment but on a five and a half hour flight they have plenty.

Horrible lady who checked us in was dissmissive, throw my suitcase when she made a mistake trying to check our carry on cases. Her mistake was taken out on me! Not a great representative for the airline

Failté huh? The Aer Lingus web site and numerous web resources say that the lounge is open for people purchasing a day pass. We were turned away as were two other couples who were also travelling Mint class on JetBlue (that shares JFK Terminal 5). The lounge was empty at 1300 on 4 March 23 so overcrowding was not an issue. Either the web site is out of date or the reception has a training need. Either way it's a poor show. If I still had my irish newspaper column, I'd have to use it to warn other travellers looking for (a paid for) Irish welcome.
