Where to Eat and Drink in Houston in Houston This Halloween, 2023 - Eater Houston

"Witches rule at this traveling Halloween pop-up, which is staking its claim at Aero Cocktail Co. for its second year. Find themed cocktails such as Old Magick, made with Redemption Rye Whiskey, black sesame, vanilla, Angostura bitters, and cinnamon smoke, and bites like Char-Boo-terie Boards, Hocus Pocus Popcorn, and Paranormal Pizza." - Brittany Britto Garley

Small little bar with cute lounge areas and a few second floor seats as well. Drink was AMAZING! Friendly bartender and... for the whole point of the visit - wonderful, over the top holiday decorations! Definitely will return.

Great cocktail bar with great service. The drinks and snacks were delicious. They had a good collection of tequilas available. They offer interesting tasting events with liquor distributors and a Mexican wine night. They have a private upstairs area available for small parties and events as well.

I’ve been to Aero a few times as it’s conveniently located in the River Oaks area. It’s a new addition to the neighborhood that fits right in. They have a variety of cocktails and some small apps to chow on. Their valet is $5 and their cocktails range from $16-$20. They do have happy hour so the drinks are reasonably priced then.

What a fabulous local find- a classy neighborhood bar!! There was great service and drinks as well as an inviting, cozy atmosphere with unique decorating touches! Between my group we tried at least 6 different cocktails and all were very fun and well balanced. The owners also gave us a neat tour of the upstairs "speakeasy"-ish Tequila bar, which can also be rented out fot events. Excited to make this a regular haunt!

The charcuterie boards and drinks are fabulous, plus the booze-infused desserts are so delicious. Highly recommend.

I came during the Halloween pop-up bar. Service was great. Good was good. Decor was appreciated. However, I did not appreciate the service practices. I came during happy hour and was encouraged to have another drink ‘it was only $5’. Why was my bill $78? 3 drinks at $15. Pizza for $20. Obligatory 20% service tip (for a party of 4). I asked for an itemized receipt and it never came. What happened to happy hour prices? I actually really appreciated this bar. But I am not here for inconspicuous service practices. It’s deceptive and dishonest. The fact that Houston (not Miami not New York) but Houston thinks it can get away with $15 cocktails is outrageous enough. Now we have to be wary about disappearing HH prices? It’s too much.

The bartenders were nice-ish, took forever to get a drink and the bar was not packed at all. On the website it states that they close at 1AM, however they closed early. The drinks were not very good. Not sure if I would go again due to the service. This place is new to River Oaks and I wanted to give them a chance. The ambience was nice and It is a great place to take pictures.

I live next door at the Crimson and was so excited to try this new neighborhood bar. It would seem it’s the perfect bar for a football game, a happy hour, or a night cap. However, I ordered a margarita and a ranch water and somehow both drink were messed up. The margarita tasted like they mixed up the drinks and the ranch water had so much lime juice it burned my whole stomach lining. If you’re charging $16 a drink, you better live up to the standard of that price. Will not be going back. One extra star for my fiancés espresso martini
