I highly recommend Affordable Outdoor Kitchens for outdoor kitchen and patio products as well as furniture. I dealt with a large number of contractors and vendors during the homebuilding process, and Kevin and Karen were absolutely top-notch. They are professional, courteous, reasonable, and extremely knowledgeable. What stands out the most is their clear efforts in customer service. I had an issue with an outdoor fire pit nearly one year after purchase. After I asked for an opinion, Kevin was at my house (nearly 1 hour away) the next day troubleshooting the issue that others could not solve. He facilitated a replacement part and educated me further about my patio purchases during his visit. His efforts are a clear reminder why it's worth dealing with a professional small business rather than simply buying online from a big box distributor. I hope to work with Kevin and Karen again in the future!

Our buying experience with Affordable Outdoor Kitchens (AOK) was nothing short of perfect! Please let me explain: Our journey began with Brian asking questions to determine our goals for an outdoor kitchen. It was more about how we wanted to entertain, the foods we liked, and the space we had available, than the appliances to sell us. Next, he created floorplan and showed us how the different appliance and storage options would fit into the area. After many, many discussions, we narrowed it down to appliances and storage that would give us the best outdoor kitchen experience for the space and budget we had to work with. And just to be sure we were buying the right cooking appliances; Brian invited us to store and gave us a cooking demonstration with those same appliances. We were hooked! We made the purchase, he ordered our items, and he gave us a blueprint of our outdoor kitchen design to give to our builder. When our items came in, AOK stored them until our builder was ready for them. You see, we were building our house in South Carolina. We picked up our items and took them to South Carolina, where they sat in a storage unit until the house was finished. Unfortunately, the builder was unable to build the outdoor kitchen (work force issues). So, we called Brian at AOK and together, we brainstormed! We determined a plan using modular cabinets would work best with the items we had purchased. He updated our outdoor kitchen design and even included the flooring and tile work to give us the clearest picture possible. Brian covered all the bases including determining proper space behind the cabinets and all the hook ups for gas and electric. We ordered the cabinetry, it came in, we took it to South Carolina, and we are ready to go, right? Wrong! With no GC, I became the GC and the entire AOK team walked me thru the production order from flooring, to gas lines, to cabinetry, countertop and tile work. They were with us the whole way. Never left our side. It was truly an honor to work with Brian and his family at Affordable Outdoor Kitchens.

It was truly a pleasure to work with everyone at AOKItchens - the entire company was very generous with their time and always made an effort to ensure 100% satisfaction/great customer service. Their knowledge and product offerings were top tier. Their partner contractors (Simpson & Sons) were also very professional, knowledgeable and offered a quality installation/product. I would highly recommend them.

A great experience all around. The staff in the store did a nice job of explaining options without trying to push pricier products than I needed. Brent handled the installation and did an awesome job. There were a couple of hiccups that were entirely outside his control but required him to make more trips than expected. He was always gracious and accommodating on top of doing excellent work. We are thrilled with our new rooftop bar and with the partnership with Affordable Outdoor Kitchens. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or to use them again.

These folks are fantastic. I walked in on a Monday, told them I wanted a Kamado Joe Big Joe III. They gave me a quote that included some free add-ons for my military service and knocked 150 bucks off since I offered to pick it up myself. This resulted in a price that was better than online vendors and backed up by the staff. They were also able to answer any questions I had -- helpful to a studious customer. I came back on Tuesday and put the money down -- they gave me the grill cover and charcoal they added on as freebies right then and told me the Big Joe III they had in the warehouse was mine. I came by on Friday with a friend's pickup truck, and two very handy gents loaded it up. They also gave me a bunch of tips for getting it installed at my house. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased. If you're buying a top of the line grill, do come to AOK and see what they have. You might be surprised at the price they can offer -- and in today's age, I find it comforting to be able to drive a few minutes away and talk to a person about a large, expensive purchase like this one. On another note: if you're sick of buying grills that rust ever few years or want a setup to take your cook outs to the next level, these guys won't steer you wrong. Beware, window shoppers...they will sell you and sell you well!

The follow up service we received was horrible. The gentlemen, Brent?, who showed us grills, burners and eggs seemed to knowledgable but turned out to be completely unreliable. Zero follow up. Hard for a willing buyer, ready to buy expensive new grill nook inserts, to deal with a store where the salespeople can't return calls. Very embarrassing for a going concern business.

I have been to affordable outdoor kitchens a few times. It is a family business of husband wife and son.Kevin and Karen are both very helpful and are great to talk to. I was not able to meet them during normal working hours and they were kind enough to open back up after hours so I could speak with them. These are the nice grills that they don't sell at Lowe's or home depot. I couldn't afford to have the island built for me but they were nice enough to provide guidance when ever I got stuck during the construction of my island. If you want the island built for you they can price that all out for you. They are military friendly which is a plus so definitely come check it out. The store is small but you get a good feel of what they can do for you. I would definitely buy from here again if I have any more projects

They have the best customer service I have ever experienced in any store period. I am an online guy. I buy everything online, even big ticket items. First time, on the insistence of my wife, we went to their store. We had bunch of questions and they were very very patient in answering everything. Their prices were as good as any online store, so we ended up buying a bunch of items including a propane grill, burner and a triple access drawer. They delivered everything promptly. Before we installed the grill, we decided to switch to natural gas and also didn't need the triple access drawer. I called them back to ask for my options. They promptly came to our house, converted the grill and the burner to natural gas and took back the triple access drawer. We are so glad we bought from them.

I researched buying a new grill and decided on a kamado grill specifically the Primo brand. Affordable Outdoor Kitchens is the local distributor for Primo and is great to work with. I wanted to buy the grill and a cart and they showed me several models and I decided on the XL 300 with the Teak table. They gave me a very competitive price and delivered the grill completely set up on my back deck. If I had bought a competitor grill from Home Depot or another competitor I would have had to set up the grill and put it together myself. Since my original purchase I also purchased additional accessories which I also bought from them. This is a family owned and operated business. You get personalized service and are treated like one of the family. If you are looking to buy a grill or build out your dream outdoor kitchen try Affordable Outdoor Kitchens first you will not be disappointed.
