Afghan Kebab House had their soft opening today and I HAD to swing by for lunch so I could try Afghan food for the first time! I really enjoyed my Bolani and Beef Tikka Kebab. I could’ve eaten an entire plate of their rice!
But honestly, what I loved the most was that the community SHOWED UP for this new business! The line was out the door the entire time I was there. They had a limited menu, the wait time to order was a little long, and they had a few glitches with online orders… but everyone was so understanding and respectful while the Afghan Kebab House team hustled as they worked through things. Seeing this support and respect truly warmed my heart!
What I Tried:
Bolani - Fltatbread stuffed with potato, green onions, clantro, and aromatic spices, served with chutney
Beef Tikka Kebab - Juicy, tender beef pieces marinated in a rich blend of spices nad herbs, then skewered and grilled, served with chutney
Salad - Mix of finely chopped tomatos, cucumbers, onions, and herbs
