The 38 Best Restaurants in New Orleans | Eater New Orleans

"After years operating a popular Jamaican-Creole food truck, husband and wife Shaka and Kay Garel opened a permanent home in Gentilly, literally brightening up Franklin Avenue. The colorful cottage has the feel of a tropical roadhouse, a casual but celebratory home for brightly flavored shrimp curry, jerk goat burgers, crawfish étouffée, oxtail, gumbo, and more. The back patio is prime seating, so plan a visit for a nice evening and soak it up with a rum punch. Wonderfully warm hospitality is the norm." - Beth D’Addono

We heard great things about Afrodisiac Nola, and it lives up to the hype! This place is a vibe from the moment you walk in the door. We had the jerk burger, which was cooked and seasoned perfectly with jerk seasoning topped with cheese, sautéed onions, and a sauce. The jerk chicken nachos served on homemade chips with mango, corn, black beans, tomato, and cheese. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The music was great and I can't wait to go back.

Google
UPDATE - came back for the vegan chicken and my god it was the most flavorful vegan food I’ve ever had. ABSOLUTE MUST. every bite was delicious and fresh made! The fries were perfectly fried and seasoned. Flavorful sauce. The mac and cheese had a very fluffy / whipped texture that was delicious and unique. Rasta pasta was delicious and packed with flavor. Can’t wait to come back and try the vegan chicken when it’s back in stock!

I walked in, and it felt like home. I'm Haitian, so it felt like a piece of me there. The husband and wife are amazing, and the food had the same passion as them. We ate there 2 days in a row. We will be going back when we visit New Orleans again.

Google
Wow! I just picked up food here and what a vibe! The people working were so friendly, the atmosphere was inviting and positive, and the food is so so so delicious. I ordered the grill jerk local drum fish!! Yummmmm. They did originally give me a fried fish on accident, but rectified the situation immediately. I was also happy to sit inside and wait while absorbing the music and soul of the restaurant. The only other mishap was I ordered the sweet potato plantain mash and was given fried plantain sticks, but it was an honest mistake. Its possible my order was misheard over the phone. 10/10. I will be back and with friends to dine inside and hang with everyone! Sooo flavorful. Don't let my subpar picture fool you!! One love. You can taste the energy and love in the food. :)

Google
The restaurant Afrodisiac Nola in New Orleans LA This restaurant is definitely worth the experience! Great Customer Service! Everyone was friendly! They are very busy but quick! They food was very good! We were looking for some Jamaican food! And was recommended this location by some of the local barbers 💈! We ordered the oxtails and fish with brussels sprouts and sweet potato plantain . It was delicious! Highly recommend this location for some great food! If traveling at night you may miss it the area is dark! Because we missed it! It’s a business that looks like a house . Great art work on the walls of the business ! It’s the first thing I noticed when I walked in! Medium Space for dining area ! Does have back yard seating ! Go and enjoy yourself!

Google
As far as first impressions go, I don't know if it's possible to be more pleased with a dining experience. We essentially stumbled in here looking for something else, and I can only consider it a blessing. The food and drinks were all exceptional! ... like they don't miss. They're warm, friendly people, and they genuinely care about what's being served. I would recommend this place a thousand times over. Absolute bliss on a plate.

Yelp
This place is wonderful! I love everything! The food is flavorful, cooked well, and smells amazing. I have not had a bad experience. Every single thing I have eaten off of the menu, which is probably everything but the Rasta pasta, has not disappointed. The service, whether eating in or taking out, has been friendly and pleasant. It takes a while for the food to be prepared, because it is made from scratch (made to order). The restaurant is small, but comfortable. There is an outside patio, but I am unsure if it is used or not. I hope that Afrodisiac remains a fixture in the Gentilly area.

Yelp
Visited about 2 times. Hidden gem restaurant in Gentilly. Loved the oxtails, anything with rum punches are good the wings are ooh and always looking for updates to menus. Great outside patio area.

Yelp
For dinner tonight, I ordered take out and got the Fried Jerk Fish Sandwich, Caribbean Fries, and Sweet Potato/Plantain mash. No exaggeration, the fish sandwich might have been one of the single best sandwiches I have had in all of NOLA. The fries and mash were excellent as well; overall this was better Jamaican food than I had on the actual island itself during my honeymoon. The spice level was done really well and layered with tons of flavor on top of heat, everything balanced out nicely. The staff were super friendly, the food was hot and packaged really well, and the restaurant is really decorated well and clean. I'll absolutely be back. 10/10 experience.

Yelp
I love the owners of the shop, they are hospitable and welcoming. I have never had a bad item on their menu. Great fusion of Jamaican and Creole food. Remember good food takes time. At peak times you may want to place order togo unless you have time to chill and wait. Overall the food!! So good!!

E S.

Yelp
Amazing food and very home like feel. The only thing, which I was told in advance, is the wait time. But rushing perfection is never a good idea! Food truly made my week!

Yelp
Oh man, ever have a meal so fire that words simply won't do it justice so it takes you a few weeks to write a review? That's how I've been with this place. We rolled in for lunch, six stomachs growling, and devoured everything in sight. Cocktails, apps, mains, sides - not a single dud. And then there were the Brussels sprouts. I expected the usual greasy sugary bomb (which has a time and place). But no sir, not these bad boys. Every bite was like a tiny hallelujah chorus for vegetables. The seasoning emphasized the freshness of the sprouts. It wasn't just the food, though. You could tell this chef cared, like he poured his soul into every spice sprinkle and ingredient choice. We even saw him coming back from maybe a grocery run with what can only be described as a farmers' market bounty of fresh produce. The drinks were crafted with the same love, layers of thoughtfully considered flavor. We bathed in sunshine on their gorgeous patio in the backyard, served by the sweetest folks from the chef himself, to the server, to the bussers. The seating was ample there. I left dreaming of return visits, my stomach already plotting its next meal. I cannot emphasize how much you owe it to your tastebuds to go to Afrodisiac. Trust me.

Yelp
Food was BOMB! The chicken nachos were great and literally stuffed. The jerk Turkey necks with the cabbage and Caribbean fries with the rice... I don't even have words. The jerk turkey necks are nothing to miss out on. Also had the Jamaican fried catfish. The strawberry sidecar was very tasteful! Service was great and everyone was attentive including the owner! Definitely a great food spot in New Orleans! Also had the homemade lemonade.

Yelp
Service her is top notch! It is truly an experience. Rastas are in full effect. The music, the art work adorning the walls are part of the cultural experience as you dove into their food. I have had jerk chicken but once I ate jerk chicken here, my mind was like," I have never had jerk chicken." THATS HOW GREAT THE JERK CHICKEN IS!! My husband had the goat burger and it was phenomenal! You will not be disappointed going here!

Yelp
Don't walk, run to this hidden gem. We went around 7pm on a Friday and were seated immediately. Food See below. Service With the exception of how you order, it's the traditional table service. A member of the staff brings out your order, removes dishes, and other requests. You order and pay either via QR code or register. Everyone we interacted with was hospitable. We felt valued. 10/10 Ambiance Small, cute, bright and colorful. The outside patio is really nice, but it was a damp night, so we sat inside. The Jamaican music was on point. 8/10 Lagniappe I like that you have a couple ordering and payment options. We chose the QR code method for both, which was fast and convenient. The other option is the traditional way, which is to order at the register. Jerk turkey necks - 10/10; they've elevated the turkey neck game. Tender, jerky, the sauce. Jerk BBQ shrimp - 10/10; this is a new way of making BBQ shrimp, and I'm here for it. Corn maque choux - 10/10; unlike any corn maque choux I've had. It tasted like crab and corn bisque. Spicy ginger wings - 9/10 Crawfish etouffee fries - 9/10; fried bananas never tasted so good. Hibiscus lemonade - 9/10; yum, more please. Jerk chicken - 9/10; tender, jerky, smoky. Jamaican fried drum - 8/10; the fish was good, but I had drum twice this week, so I was over it. Why did I order it? Sweet potato plantain mash - 8/10; like it sounds, mashed sweet potatoes. Curry shrimp stew - 8/10 Brussel sprouts - 7/10; if Brussel sprouts are on the menu, we're ordering it. These needed more olive oil and salt.

Yelp
Wow! That's all I have. Lol. I ordered the the Jerk Burger and it did not disappoint. This burger was by far the most satisfying thing I've eaten in a minute. Nice portion, super juicy, brioche bun....*chefs kiss*! I thought I'd need to go home and doctor it up, nope. I paired it with the Guava Margarita (on happy hour), perfect choice. Service was excellent from order to pickup. Very courteous and super friendly. I can't wait to try everything else on the menu. As a discriminating foodie, I'm excited!

Yelp
My husband loved this place so much so that he wants me to NOT write a review and basically gatekeep this place run, don't walk, they have the BEST jerk chicken nachos!!!

Debra B.

Yelp
This restaurant is a hidden jewel, it's a distance from our hotel and definitely worth the trip. We went for dinner and based on the enthusiastic reviews and amazing pictures of the food, I was a little concerned that the place would be jam packed and we'd have a long wait to be seated. Surprisingly that wasn't the case The interior is pleasant and has tropical colors We opted to sit at the tables in the backyard, which is lovely, and encircled by trees, great reggae music playing at a soft volume Overall a chill vibe, felt very cozy. Every dish was delicious! Luckily there was a special of gumbo, which was flavorful and balanced. There were shrimp, sausages, chicken and even crab!! This is the first real gumbo we've had in Nola, with the gumbo file seasoning. It wasn't too salty, seasoned just right. The jerk chicken was great, The burger and Caribbean fries were also incredible Chef Shaka is a superb culinary artisan and a gracious host. We look forward to coming back on another trip to New Orleans.

Yelp
Afrodisiac is a great spot. I found them a while back through beignet festival and now I've been to the their restaurant location twice for lunch. The owners are great amazing people that put lots of love into their food. The food is very tasty and spices that take you through a Caribbean ride. The place is a cute house turned restaurant in Gentility that sets the mood like a little shack back in an island with sounds of Jamaica. The service was great and food came out pretty quick. I had the Brussels, Callaloo as sides which are pretty fire. And then had jerk chicken late with rice. My coworkers had the Jamaican burger which all has a lot of good flavors and spice. I recommend here for lunch or anytime you wish to leave the regular old Cajun food. This place is great and you must try. I would recommend them to bring their stuffed beignets to their menu. Cause they are pretty fire and give a little fusion on 1 dish to the locals. Keep going my friends keep going.

Yelp
Hello everyone, I went to Afrodisiac because of the review on the Jerk Turkey Necks and I was not let down. It just so happened that that particular week Afrodisiac had a combo special which consisted of Turkey Necks ,rice and peas and two sides for $16.00 which was perfect. My two sides consisted of double Plantain fries which were perfect. This was my first time having Jerk Turkey Necks and Plantain fries and I enjoyed everything on the plate! The owners and the staff are perfect! It did take some time for the food to be prepared but that was because of the evening crowd but he did he warn me in advance so I got a few cooooooold Red Stripes for the wait which were perfect. I promise you that you will enjoy and probably run into friends and make new friends. Enjoi!!!!! PS Afrodisiac, please make the Jerk Turkey Neck combo permanent on the menu . Thanks

Yelp
Found this place while searching Jamaican food near our hotel. It was an 11 min drive so you'll need a car or Uber, but it was deliciousssss! Expect to wait for your food 30 min - 1 hr but honestly it's worth the wait and the staff is super friendly. Although I want to take a star off for the long wait time, seriously y'all the food makes up for it. Plus if you've ever visited ANY Caribbean island then you know, they're just on island time lol Would def return and recommend!

Yelp
Do I recommend this business? You're damn right I do! When you walk in, you're going to see colorful painted walls. It really sets the atmosphere on the experience you're about to get. The service was great. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. They showed us how we could order - which was to either go up to the register or use QR code. Started off with a frozen mango daiquiri, and I absolutely love it. It's not one of those daiquiri's that are loaded with added sugar. It was just natural and taste amazing. I'm still thinking about it. The food? Wow. I ordered the jerk oyster mushrooms as shown in the photo and was not disappointed. They were cooked and crisp to perfection right along with one of the sides I ordered - the roasted Brussels. Along with that, came the sweet plantain mash, which was creamy and a good balance to the savory items. Then of course, the rice and peas went great with the garlic cabbage. Everything was good and I will definitely be back. Do yourself a favor and try this place out. You won't regret it!
google avatar

Yelp
The service was great!! The young gentleman at the counter was very friendly and had a lot of patience with us as we had many questions about the menu on our first visit. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time. This Jamaican food was definitely some of the best I've tasted so far. The jerk chicken nachos had a nice balance of flavors & were so good that I was bummed I had to share them lol. The jerk fish sandwich was good, although a tad bit salty, but still good enough to enjoy & unfortunately didn't come with sides. My boyfriend had the lamb chops, which I sampled. We both agreed the lamb chops were perfectly seasoned! The garlic mashed potatoes was good as well. My boyfriend also enjoyed the Brussels sprouts and rice & peas. My least favorite was the rice & peas. The place doesn't look like much on the outside... the inside is neat, small & cozy. I would love to try out more of their menu!

Yelp
The food is absolutely AMAZING!!! The service was great. The staff were very welcoming. The ambiance was Amazing. We got to dine outside and it was awesome.

Yelp
Went in on a Saturday night. Wasn't too busy but seemed like they were doing a lot of takeout orders. Ended up getting the special of the whole fried snapper with cabbage and brussel sprouts. The fish was so freaking good! Everything was perfectly done. Everyone was super nice and I'm for sure coming back here.
google avatar

Yelp
Food, service, ambiance, and everything about this place is amazing! I've tried the ox tails, jerk chicken, jerk fish, and every side I could! My family loves this place highly recommend!

Yelp
The food is amazing. Easily the best maque choux I've ever had. The jerk sauce is delicious; I hope they bottle and sell it.

Yelp
Great service everything was so fresh and I left my bag from essence fest and they made sure it made it back to me!

Yelp
This food is INCREDIBLE. The jerk chicken was perfection and the sides were so flavorful. This is definitely my new lunch spot.

Yelp
FOOD: We had crawfish etoufee fries for our appetizer. They were delicious. Seasoned, cheesy, and loaded with plump crawfish tails. My husband had the Jamaican fried fish with rice and peas, cabbage, and garlic mash. I tasted his fish and it well seasoned and fried hard. He thoroughly enjoyed and cleaned his plate. I had the Rasta past with jerk oyster mushrooms, Brussels sprouts, and the cucumber, pineapple, and avocado salad. Everything was well seasoned and the portions were good. My only critique is that the jerk on the mushrooms was spice. I didn't get any of the subtle sweetness you usually get from jerk. Nonetheless, my food was still delicious. SERVICE: The young man at the register was very hospitable. He checked on us frequently and made sure we had what we needed. AMBIANCE: It's a cute little spot. It's more of an intimate lunch setting, which was perfect for a day date with my husband. I definitely would return.

Shawn L.

Yelp
It's not easy holding your own in Nola when it comes to food, but Afrodisiac does that and more. Turkey necks and oxtails are out of this world, especially when washed down with a Red Stripe. Off the beaten path, and it feels like you've stumbled into a hidden island gem. Takes me back to the back streets of St. John with the food and Caribbean vibes. Can't recommend enough.
google avatar

Michael H.

Yelp
Literally the best food I've had in forever. My favorite hidden Gem of New Orleans, if I ever go back to New Orleans I'll certainly go there!
google avatar

Lizabeth K.

Yelp
We love this place everyday but we recently had a party catered by them. It was all wonderful and they were flexible about our late additions to the order. We had lamb chops, oxtails, coco shrimp, cabbage and peas/rice. It was all completely amazing! We love going to eat on the patio as well. Can't recommend them enough.
google avatar

Shy B.

Yelp
I've been here twice ! The first time I had gumbo that I thought about ever since. It was soooooo good! I officially don't want gumbo any place else . The second time I went I ordered the jerk chicken and shrimp nachos. I could've licked the plate , it was slap somebody's mama good. I had so many requests , extra this , that on the side etc. and it STILL was epic. This is my new favorite place
google avatar

Lorena C.

Yelp
I totally enjoyed my rainy Earthday luncheon here. And right off the only things that make Afrodisiac 4 stars is that you have to order at the counter and there's no dessert. But the food omg and artistic ambiance and service are super nice. The chef came out to see if we enjoyed and our server was super patient with us. We had some of everything honestly since there were five of us. Best drinks: French 75 & Rum Punch in the cool glass. We all loved our food: oxtails, lamb chops, fried fish (more like a crunchy escovitch), and Rasta Pasta. Mouth watering delicious and cooked quickly to order. Small eating area in two rooms, one with a bar that opens to the deck. There's also a small amount of free or street parking outside. But the deck is everything!

Yelp
Walking into Afrodisiac feels like walking into an island paradise. From the sunbathed patio in the back to the colorful décor and the mural on the wall by artist Lionel Milton that depicts two women surrounded by a bounty of food. The island vibe is welcoming and relaxing. The menu captures both cultures perfectly -- it's easy to notice how well the flavors of both Jamaican and New Orleans cultures combine. The jerk chicken sandwich, made with boneless chicken thigh marinated in jerk and grilled and topped with Caribbean slaw and jerk barbecue sauce, is a favorite. The Jamaican fried fish sandwich features local drum seasoned and fried crispy with garlic aioli and escovitch sauce (a house made pickly, spicy, oil and vinegar sauce) is another menu highlight. One of standout is the curry shrimp stew, which is made with Gulf shrimp, potatoes and smoked sausage cooked down in curry and seasonings. It is served over rice and peas and topped with fried catfish. Shaka said this is one of Afrodisiac's most popular dishes. I couldn't wait to dig into this dish when I visited. The flavors were balanced wonderfully and one of the sides, Caribbeanfries, which are fried green bananas served with dipping sauces, was a delectable addition to the meal. Read my full write-up here: https://www.verylocal.com/afrodisiac-restaurant-gentilly/22689/

Yelp
The food here makes me so happy. Fried fish, pineapple-avocado salad, rice and beans and the Caribbean fries with that garlic sauce are delicious and heart warming. The etouffe was also so buttery perfect. I never leave reviews but this place is that good!
google avatar

Johnathan R.

Yelp
What a wonderful hidden gem. The ambiance is funky, the service is amazing, the drink menu is varied and they could double as a cocktail bar, and the food was amazing. It was my girlfriend's mom's birthday party so we had a party of 6, and it was handled beautifully considering we were sitting outside away from the staff. The food is amazing, too. Oxtails, plantains, lots of jerk dishes, but you can't go wrong!
google avatar

Carol B.

Yelp
I have determined that I should have been born on a Caribbean island, because the food calls me as much as the ocean. Why haven't you driven over to eat at Afrodisiac? You could be enjoying the fried fish with escovitch sauce, rice and peas, cucumber, pineapple ,and avocado salad, and roasted Brussels sprouts! I ate every bite and I'm thinking about next time. AND, the employees are the friendliest and most pleasant people I've ever encountered in a restaurant.

Yelp
I ordered my food togo but wish I would've eaten it inside, the vibe was great the decor was on point and the music was jammin! But when I got home and tried the food I was like mannnn I need more of this.People of New Orleans please support this place you won't be mad if you do.

Yelp
The food was amazing!!! I've recommended friends and Fam. I'm headed there again today to experience more of the amazing food and drinks... so happy I stopped here...

Yelp
This is definitely a place my family will add to our regular rotation. It looks a little shabby from the outside but don't be fooled. We were immediately greeted upon entering with a smile. We ordered Caribbean fries ($5) as an appetizer, which were really tasty and fried well. We enjoyed the red sauce better than the creamy white sauce. My son ordered jerk nachos ($12) as his entree and I did the traditional lamb chops ($26) with potatoes and brussel sprouts. Everything came out super hot, I actually burned my tongue on the potatoes and brussel sprouts. All the food was flavorful, well seasoned and tasted great. I had the hibiscus lemonade ($5) and my son had a guava Jarritto($3) Everything totaled about $50 or so, prices were reasonable. But the best part was the service. They were extremely nice and attentive. A guy even moved the fan to face toward us since we were the only people sitting outside. They have indoor and outdoor seating but we preferred outdoor as the sun had gone down.

Yelp
This gem in New Orleans was truly a great find. Such a vibe!!!! My friends and loved every minute, from the customer service to the food. And the cook that day outdid herself. We tried a little of a lot. The Jerk Chicken Nachos were a great mix of flavors served with this special sauce that was a great balance of savory and spice. The Crawfish Boulettes were nicely fried and full of flavor. The BBQ Shrimp were HUGE and served with extra sauce and French bread. The Crawfish Etouffee Fries were so good. We were even lucky enough to experience The G.O.A.T fries, they were a bit heavy, but rich and flavorful in good way. Then there was the Jamaican Fried Fish. OMG!! The fish was fried but not battered, more like seared to perfection. Crispy in the right spots and seasoned to perfection. We had it with Rice & Peas, Corn Maqgue Choux and Cucumber, Avocado and Pineapple Salad. This mix and pairing of flavors in every dish were amazing!!! I'm a picky eater and weird about textures and mixing food but I'm so glad I got to experience this amazing place!! We also had some cocktails too. The Guava Margarita and Holla If You Here Me are a must!! If you are looking for a place with a great vibe, great food and great drinks...this is your place!! Truly lives up to it's name....an Afrodisiac!! (My pics may not do it justice but you won't be disappointed)

Yelp
My friend and I LOOOOVE Afrodisiac. The courtyard is beautiful and spacious and it's a great atmosphere. The food is incredible. Today I got the Jamaican fried fish platter with sweet potato mash and pineapple avacado salad. Perfect , delicious, amazing!!! My friend got the fried fish sandwich ( it's her favorite ) and the collard greens which are amazing as well! The owners are so friendly and everyone provides such wonderful service . It is our go-to spot now and I'm already planning on when I'm gonna get that fried fish again. Thank you all so much for everything! Oh and get the guava Rita! Yummmmmm !
google avatar

Lauren M.

Yelp
The food is amazing!!! The bartender made us some really great guava margaritas and painkillers. There's a wonderful patio with shade to enjoy the weather. Definitely will be back!

Yelp
One consistent theme heard among these reviews is "Authentic!" and let me assure you, service here is VERY authentic in that it is slow and unremarkable. Prepared to wait 30-40 minutes for a sandwich to come out? Go for it. Because that's how it's done in Jamaica and unapologetically so. I think a lot of New Orleanians will be baffled by that, so consider yourselves forewarned. Is the food worth it? For us, having visited only once, the answer was a resounding "Nope." I could have gone fishing, caught a fish, prepared it, cook it on my grill, and dressed it in a bun in the same amount of time, and mine would have tasted better (not to mention saved me and my partner $60). Guy sitting at the table next to us was downright ANNOYED at his long wait for takeaway ... and he was a Jamaican(!) clearly trying to throw some business their way. I want them to prosper, but felt compelled to pass along these observations. Maybe you'll have better luck on a weekday?

Yelp
Everything is delicious! Food was fresh and the staff is friendly. Loved the ginger beer, you can tell it's the real deal.

Yelp
Amazing food, and friendly staff! I love the pineapple avocado salad and the oxtails are Devine! Call off the bone tender and flavorful. A must try.

Yelp
This was the best Jamaican food experience I've ever had. The service was top notch. While eating multiple staff members came out to check if we needed anything and if we liked our meals. My daughter and I were looking for a good dinner and we ended up getting a spectacular one. My daughter has never had Jamaican food. She's a very picky eater but she cannot stop talking about this place. She's already made plans to go back . I agree with her 100%. Everything we ordered was scrumptious. We were also told brunch and entertainment while you eat could be added soon!!! Appetizer: Jerk BBQ shrimp Meal 1: Cucumber, Avocado, pineapple salad (Perfection) - We ordered a larger salad to go. Fried plantains, Rasta Pasta with Jerk chicken Meal 2: Jamaican Fried Fish, peas and rice, Caribbean fries (fried green bananas), pickled cole slaw (best cole slaw I've ever had) and fried plantains. Flying High Drink

Yelp
Okay just tried at the new location and I have nothing but positives! Crawfish etouffee fries were amazing and we had the fried fish sandwich! Highly recommend. Stop in and eat, grab and drink and support Black. Always!

Yelp
My sister and I found this place because we wanted some good Jamaican food and let me tell you it did not disappoint. Honestly I can say it was some of the best food I've had in my life. I got the Jerk pulled pork sandwich and it was perfection. Also the service was the best I've had. They made sure that the fan was on a good setting for us, brought a thing to get rid of flys, lit incense and played music. Overall, everyone needs to go. It's a need

Yelp
Everything is absolutely delicious! The sweet potato and plantains mash... OMG. That's my new Thanksgiving side dish to make and share! I especially appreciate how the portions are right-sized. When the plate comes with the entree and bowls of sides you might think, hmm, small portions, not enough food. Nope. My dinner mates and I all went home with a go box. Go and enjoy!

Yelp
I wanted to try something different for lunch so me and a friend decided to go to Afrodisiac. When you walk in it's this small but cozy place. They have art all over the walls. The people who took my order was nice and friendly. They didn't make any recommendations but I knew what i wanted to try. I placed my order and i must say they cook the food fresh to order so it takes A WHILE for it to come out. I won't complain about the time too much because my food was HOT! The portions are on the smaller side so the only thing i would say is I wish they gave me a little more food.
