Afro's Chicken Shop Church Square

Afro’s is such an amazing spot, one of my favorite go to lunches in town. The chicken is always cooked 100% perfect and the portions are solid. The slaw is fresh and crunchy and the “tjips” are full of flavor. Their menu is small with options of Strips, Burgers, Wraps and Salad. They also do a wicked breakfast roll. The store has a great vibe and the staff are kiff. Stop past and be amazed!

Nice burgers, OK coffee and awesome fries! I also liked the fresh atmosphere. The burger with avocado and beacon is really worth a try if you are into something like that. Service is nice and slow, as almost everywhere in Cape Town 🤣

We order here through uber eats and we have been more than satisfied! We ordered laramie burger and tjips and laanie strips and tips, amazing and super tasty! Quick and fast delivery, nice guy at the door! Highly recommended if you are to lazy and you don' even think about getting ready to leave your couch!

Wonderful concept and very friendly management. The menu is a basic burger and chips. I had the Chicken burger with chips and coleslaw - with peri-peri. Price range is the same as other franchises but good quality food. This shop also brings a great dimension to the otherwise dead corner of Spin street. Very spacious and airy sit down option.

Great view of church Square, still the awesome chicken shop I grew to love in Durban, but now in Cape Town, as good as ever! The handmade tjips and hot sauce for the chicken is still a win!

Love the healthier chicken, very tasty. Just a little too lemony. The chicken patty on burger could have been slightly bigger or burger smaller? The overall value is superb. Had a great family dinner. Will definitely go again! Love the south African inspired menu too.

Good food! Recommend the chicken steps lemon and herb, with 50 side ( half coleslaw, half chips)

So my wife rocks up with a very nice looking box....branded Afros chicken. Half of the meal is gone. Being the chicken lover that I am, I finished the rest. But whoa. ... this meal. ...chicken mayo roll with chips is so tasty. What an absolute joy in my mouth it was biting into this meal. Truly impressed. ... now...to get my wife who works in town to bring me a meal like this home for supper. And of cause she teases that she won't. ..... but knowing me....I will drive to town to have this most tasty meal again. The way their boxes look speak wonders for the quality inside of it. Keep it up guys. I hope my wife will spoil me soonest. Ivan Michaels
