Door guy was really unpleasant. Too busy staring at his phone to answer questions/do his job. When I was struggling to find the email with our tickets (no one behind us in line btw) he goes “guess ur just gonna have to pay again or leave” And then bro didn’t even check our IDs 💀 Guess this place is closing down, makes sense!

Afterlife is a cozy gem of a bar. The bartenders are lovely and the vibe is just right by me. Great music and a cool crowd of people whenever I'm there. I can't wait to go again and dance my heart out.

Very hard to sleep living across the street from this club with the loud bass that goes into the early hours of the morning Thursday - Sunday morning and violates the law. 45 decibels at the property line of the receiving address is what’s allowed at night on a weekend. We measure 65 from our window when the music is playing. Please turn down your bass!

Yelp
We got there on the earlier side when they opened. This is a very new spot so they deserve some space for growth and getting their feet under them. The drinks were really good, but they were out of ingredients for 2-3 of their items when they opened which was a bit of a bummer. The owner left to go grab more right away which was very responsive, but the bartender seemed to arrive late and didn't know the menu was online, which made it a bit difficult to order without some back and forth. They were also out of the popcorn on the menu unfortunately. Once they are all up to speed and stocked, I think it will be good though. The ambiance was pretty cool with the disco balls and shimmery paint. The owner was also super kind and informative and attentive. I think that this place will be really cool once they can get into a rhythm and come into their own after replacing the previous Gold Bar. I plan to come back after they've had some time to establish.
