I usually give people the benefit of the doubt everyone has off days but this experience was genuinely uncomfortable. From the moment I walked in, the staff appeared visibly over it. The facial expressions and overall attitude came across as rude and unwelcoming which is disappointing when you're a paying customer. At the very least, basic courtesy goes a long way. I've never felt this unwelcome at a coffee shop before. Unfortunately the coffee itself didn't make up for it was very basic and lacked flavor. The only reason I'm giving one star instead of zero is for the ambience. The location is beautiful and thoughtfully designed with stunning architecture and artistic elements that really stand out. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on how customers are treated. Seeing such negative attitudes especially to the point that it was noticeable on camera was off-putting and I'd hate for future customers to feel the same way.

While biking around grand ave I decided to stop by for a coffee at this trendy brutalist themed coffee shop that I had seen countless times on Instagram. The barista was very kind and helped me decide what to get. I decided on a lumio. It is a tad on the sweeter side, and on the lighter side. They’ve got lots of art for sale; this dumpster candle caught my eye. The decor feels a bit too try hard for my liking. The baristas were friendly and definitely added to making this a great experience. This would be a five star experience with a lower price and if the coffee was maybe half as sweet. I also find the justified text box label to be a bit overdone in graphic design.

Such a cool place! Great coffee, tons of art and clothing made by local artists that you can purchase. You would never know this place is here based off its location but definitely gotta check it out

This place is a hidden gem, almost underground. You’ll love the vibe with your girlfriend. The staff is super friendly and always goes above and beyond to make sure you’re happy. It’s definitely the best coffee shop in town, hands down. You have to check it out!

The coffee smelled and tasted like skunk. I got an americano. It was terrible. It made me sad because I love good coffee. For real some of the worst coffee I've ever had. Weird vibes inside too. The employees were cold and not very inviting. Just a weird ah place

First off, this place is hard to find. Google Maps does not take you there directly. The directions tell you it’s off of Grand, but you really have to turn onto McKinley. When I walked in, the vibe was very cool. Very open space, and a couple people said hi to me immediately. I ordered a hot oat milk mocha - I was told they make the chocolate syrup from scratch in-house. This guy was a real barista… The drink was a work of art and delicious! I definitely plan on coming here again. Next time I’m near the airport.

Aftermarket Phoenix is my favorite spot to chill! great coffee, unique art, and a super welcoming vibe. The owners make it feel like a second home every time I visit.

Loved this place, very much my aesthetic with the art and industrial style interior. There are some items for sale inside as well. The barista was super helpful explaining all the drinks. I got the Matcha Bizou and my boyfriend got the Shakerato. The Matcha Bizou had a really good color and foam that is indicative of good matcha, I know because I used to work at a matcha cafe. The subtle sweetness was perfect for my taste. The orange blossom flavor was very very subtle, not sure if I'd be able to tell on my own. Regardless, it was very good. The Shakerato was also very good. There was some sweetness from the brown sugar, but it still maintained the tasteful bitterness from the espresso. Another drink that wasn't too sweet, perfect for my taste. Would definitely come again and try some of the other drinks.

Stopped by on a Friday afternoon really chill easy street parking. Love the vibe and aesthetic of this place - very unique. I'm not the biggest coffee drinker so asked for a recommendation. The barista was very friendly and walked us through what we liked etc. we settled on the shakerato and a Lumio matcha latte. Don't really remember how he broke it down but they were both amazing. Coffee was fruity and strong but not overbearing, and the latte was complex with orange blossom honey and high quality matcha. Both drinks were 10/10 and $13 for both of them. Highly recommend this nice vibe, great drinks.

The ultimate coffee shop in downtown phoenix. You want a coffee shop that had 3 things: - fresh roasted coffee - quality and unique drinks - aesthetically appealing environment And this place as it all! The coffee is amazing, and their art gallery is beautiful. Top underrated coffee shop in all of AZ.

Awesome arty place with wonderful coffee! It's the same coffee as Caffio, which I'm also a fan of. It is part of Belhaus, we had fun looking at the art here. I got a drink called the lumio which had burnt honey and vanilla with oat milk (I think oat milk? He said "dairy free"). The guy working here was super nice and told us about the business. My husband got a caffe latte with regular milk. Our drinks were good! My husband said his was really strong but he liked it. Really cool space.

Whenever I am in phoenix, I always stop by this spot. It's fun, eclectic and super unique. The coffee is great and they always have super amazing art from local and international artists on display through their gallery section by BELHAUS gallery. Gino and Fio are super friendly and make you want to stay a while! Definitely a must visit when in downtown phoenix.
