The Bvlgari Lounge is an opulent Italian-style retreat perfect for leisurely dining, featuring a menu rich in classics and decadent desserts amidst a chic yet cozy ambiance.
"Afternoon tea is a British tradition that is served at plenty of London hotels, and the last place we would choose to experience it is at the Bvlgari Hotel. Served in the dark lobby of this five-star Knightsbridge hotel, the afternoon tea is a disappointing afterthought. Tea is served to the sound of obnoxiously loud business calls and interior design consultations, and once the food arrives, you’ll realise why no one else is indulging in this £90 meal (that’s before a £25 glass of champagne). The sandwiches manage to be soggy and stale at the same time, smoked salmon is arranged between layers of thick cream cheese and three types of bread to form an off-putting ‘millefoglie’, and the scones are sad, dense, little balls instead of the usual light, fluffy texture. Take our advice and book any of these spots instead. photo credit: Rianne Shlebak" - Rianne Shlebak
