Okay, so I went to Agate Restaurant today – it was surprisingly busy, definitely a local favorite! I got a table after about 20 minutes waiting, which wasn’t bad. The food was good, pretty standard brunch fare – I had the eggs benedict and it was tasty, though the portion size felt a little small for the price. Parking was a nightmare, everyone was trying to find a spot. They could probably benefit from a few more servers during peak times. Overall, a nice spot, but be prepared for a wait!

OMG!!! Agate has started a Saturday BRUNCH!!! So perfect for the weekend and especially a rainy morning! We just tried the Corned Beef Hash, the brioche donut (had to) and the Scrambled Eggs Lorraine and they were both fabulous. One of those places where you want to eat EVERYTHING so we’ll be back for sure. And if you’re lucky, you will be waited on by the excellent and lovely Cassie. Except wait, now we won’t be able to get in. <sigh> 🤣❤️ But we’ll do it!!

Food service and atmosphere amazing. Tom took care of us and he is absolutely amazing. Made us feel at home and the girls loved him. Another gem in bainbridge island and made me proud and grateful to live in Washington

I had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday dinner at Agate with my family! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch. We enjoyed the Salmon Pâté, Steak with Hollandaise Sauce, Agate Burger, Macrina Giuseppe with Whipped Butter, Olive Tapenade, Bucatinni with Tomato Sauce. , which were cooked to perfection, and everyone left satisfied. The staff was attentive and friendly, and they made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and the overall experience was very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Agate for a birthday dinner or any special occasion. It's a great place to gather with family and friends and enjoy a delicious meal.

We were incredibly disappointed with our recent experience, which was plagued by poor service and mediocre food quality. The evening began with a clear time constraint: a 5:45 PM reservation for three with a host-imposed deadline of 7:15 PM. Despite this strict 90-minute limit, our server did not arrive to take our full order until just before 6:00 PM. The appetizers offered little relief; the $14 Caesar salad was highly underwhelming, strongly resembling a pre-packaged bag mix. The major breakdown, however, was timing. We placed our order precisely at 6:00 PM. The main courses—two burgers and a pork chop—did not arrive until 6:50 PM, a full 50 minutes later. When we inquired about the excessive delay, the server’s response was perplexing. After realizing the wait had exceeded 40 minutes, she offered a minimal apology and claimed she "didn’t realize we were on a time crunch." This contradicted the very table limit set at the start of the evening. Tragically, the delay meant one of our party had to leave before eating. We were forced to send the pork chop back and rushed through two small, unsatisfying $28 burgers that looked disproportionately small for the price. To find such a pronounced level of mediocrity in both service and culinary execution in a community like Bainbridge is truly surprising and a significant letdown. I would not recommend this place. Town & Country, the local grocery store, would have been a better option tonight.

We just stopped for brunch in the Agate Restaurant on Bainbridge Island, it’s right off the ferry. Wow- what a way to start the day! Excellent food; they seem to be just starting morning service on Saturdays and we lucked out. The chef makes his own corned beef hash. Amazing :)

We have eaten here before and it has been one of the best on Bainbridge, but last nights food was disappointing. I had the Bucatini Pasta which had very little flavor and I had to search for the lamb. Our friend had the Caesar salad and added prawns. The prawns were small and only a few were included. My wife that the Ling Cod with Prawns. The Ling Cod was fine, but small. The prawns were also small and over cooked. The burger looked the best. Hopefully this was an off night. The server (Jackie??) was great.

Agate was suggested to us by a local on the ferry ride to bainbridge and I’m so glad the other restaurant we picked didn’t work out and we ended up here. This should have been the first choice to begin with!! Great food, great customer service 😋😋

I REALLY wanted to enjoy my birthday dinner, but unfortunately cannot recommend. The place was pretty packed for a weeknight. We had reservations so we did not need to wait long to be seated. Service overall was pleasant. There was a Happy Birthday note on the table which was really cute and appreciated. They didn't have enough menus for those they seat. We were initially provided one to share with apologies. Later they brought us another one. For a restaurant with these prices we would think they'd have enough menus printed for patrons. When we started to order we learned they were out of the house made bread and the marinated olives and toasted almonds. Our reservation was pretty early in the evening so, similarly to Seabird, we were dumbfounded how items like this were already not planned for well nor available with a small menu. We didn't want any other starter so moved along. I ordered the country steak bavette steak going against the risk from other reviews, but I really wanted steak. The steak was cooked med rare like requested. The steak itself was okay. The interesting part was the spread of green sauce and other did not add any flavor to the experience. It could not have been there and same difference. I can't say I'd order again. The Agate Burger was kind of dry and I would not order that again. Someone else had undercooked. Ours seemed over cooked. Like pizza, burgers are one of those items that I'm always shocked when it's not basic enjoyable. When you've made basic and delicious burgers at home, you know it would take extra work to make it unsatisfying. Everyone loves a grilled burger. Ling cod and prawns - Ling Cod was cooked REALLY well, but the overall dish lacked flavor and left you again unsatisfied. We asked to see the dessert menu (of which we were given 1), but even though it was my birthday we made the decision to skip dessert. We enjoyed dessert at home. Others seemed to have different experiences so you can decide, but it's not a cheap gamble. It was hard to ignore the glaring chipped wall right next to our table. I'm not really sure how I feel about the ambiance. Seems like a small thing, but the candle wasn't lit. Had to ask for a light. It wouldn't. Had to ask for another one to be brought. We tried really hard to improve our experience from all angles possible lol Parking - private lot. The museum is closed so you should easily find a spot.

This restaurant is close to the ferry. It was hard to find initially as it is behind the back of the building where a brewery is attached. I went on a Saturday and it was pretty packed but we didn't wait long for a table for two. It is a nice vibe. My date ordered the arugula salad which had great flavor and the Filipino chicken dish and I ordered the Caesar Salad and the Ling Cod and Prawns dish. I didn't really care for the Caesar Salad maybe it was the addition of Taijin that threw it off. The Ling Cod and Prawns dish needed a little more salt but it was still a good dish. My date's meals were really good and I kinda wish I had his meal. The wait staff and bartender was attentive. I really enjoyed the Smooth Ride cocktail and the coffee crème Brulé was really good.

Great spot and close to the ferry 1. Staff was incredible and so accommodating to our group of 20+!!!!! Thank you so much 2. Everyone enjoyed the food! The steak was the crowd favorite. Don't skip the deserts! Ice cream flight, chocolate cake were great. 3. It's a quaint spot nothing too fancy.

Love that this place is so close to the ferry, great place to stop in when I have friends in town and we have a bit of time to waste!

Always a wonderful special dinner when you go to Agate!! The drinks are perfectly crafted. The food is delicious and the service is always friendly!! Plus, it's a beautiful space with very nice outdoor seating available as well.

What a pleasunt suprize had dinner with my daughter this evening and this is the best Restraunt in on bainbridge island. The service the food shows the CIA training the owner had. Will return many times in the future.

Unfortuantely, our party was not happy with what we ordered with the Cheeseburger being under cooked and the $58 Steak dish which advertised brocollini was very tough (steak) and cooked rare when I had asked for Medium rare. Brocolli was substituted by the Kitchen and when I inquired about it, she went back to the kitchen and then came back out to inform us that they forgot to inform them of the substitution. The Manager did comp the steak as I had just a couple of slices and they offered to make another cheeseburger but the individual who ordered it declined. The Ling Cod ordered by another person in our group was very good as we tried a sample from his plate. The steak given the fact that the amount of brocolli and the preparation of the steak by the kitchen being presented sliced on the plate did not warrant the high price.

Great food and service. Went for our Anniversary dinner. They treated us very special with a place card on our table and free dessert.

The food was first rate. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was classy but relaxed. Great location. The only problem was the woman who came in and sat next to our table must have taken a bath in her perfume.

Agate is consistently exceptional. The ambience is lovely and food is always delicious. Agate is our go-to restaurant for all types of occasions. The restaurant is sensitive to food allergies and can find a good fit for all types of diets. The staff is the absolute best - friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. A+ on all levels.

Very well done. From the food, to the service and the whole experience, very well done. Came in on a Wednesday night for dinner. Ordered the crispy Brussel Sprouts that were fantastic. Only thing that would have made them better would have been some crispy Prosciutto. The waiter told me they tried that once, but the vegans freaked out because they didn't know what Prosciutto was! For dinner I had the scallops and daughter had the steak. Both were very good. We also had the chocolate cake/brownie for desert which was decadent. Service was very friendly and fast. Plenty of help, got in and out in.a reasonable amount of time..

I went here a year ago and still remember it as the worst dining experience of my life. Steak served rare and let the waiter know and they accused me of trying to get a free meal despite repeatedly telling them I didnt want anything. Owner reinforced this truly bizarre as all I wanted to let them know if that their cook was off. Worst dining experience of my life which I dont say lightly

First things first: this place is expensive. Really expensive. Dinner for two with drinks (with no dessert) will easily run you over $100. That said, the food is excellent. Really. I got the Petrale Sole, which was fresh caught and cooked just right. It was served with Cauliflower, Capers, Almonds, and Grapes. It was really tasty. (My date tried it and said she found the Sole a little bit fishy, but I didn't think it was bad. Not at all. It's fish, after all! :) ). My date ordered the Halloumi, a cheese which was grilled, and served with garbanzo beans and broccoli. I tried a bite and really enjoyed it. I would never have thought to have grilled cheese as a main course, but this was quite good. And the service was exceptional. Our waiter, Joe, was on us the whole time we were there. We had a limited window for dinner, and he made every single moment so easy. It was a really enjoyable experience, and he made it more so. It's a nice restaurant, centrally located, snuggled up next to the Bainbridge Island Brewery. You can have beer with your dinner, BTW. It's not listed on the menu, but they serve at least a couple of BI Brewery's beers, if you have a hankering for beer (which we did). And afterwards (or before), you can always stop by for a beer next door! Also, if there's an event at the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art (including in its theater), you're about a 30 second walk away. So its a great place to go for a meal before heading over to the museum. Will I go back? Absolutely. But I'll probably check my wallet first. Haha.

Agate was a great spot for quality dining on the island. For appetizers, the cheese plate had a nice mix of flavors, the spinach salad was fresh but didn't blow my mind, and the fried Brussels sprouts were good but not my favorite flavor. I had the sea scallops for a main which were cooked to perfection. The flavor was light but paired well with the pickled vegetables and dashi. Drinks 1. Had dinner here fleury friends and thoroughly enjoyed it. The place was busy and full, but the service was great and the food and drinks came out quickly. The place has a hipster atmosphere and is casually comfortable. Food is very good and the bartender does a great job on his cocktails. We'll don Agate, we'll be back.

Nice restaurant located in the heart of Bainbridge Island close to shopping and wineries. They have a good amount of indoor dining space as well as patio seating. The food is a bit more refined and unique with high-quality ingredients, making it one of the nicer options on the island. During our visit this summer we dined on bread with hummus and olive tapenade, steak, Dungeness crab, and halibut while sipping wine from a bottle we purchased. Each dish was very tasty and we enjoyed them during a beautiful evening on the patio. The outdoor dining area is dog friendly so there were a couple of cute and well-behaved doggos sitting with their humans. Agate restaurant is a great option for dining and I plan to return during an upcoming visit to Bainbridge.

The food was creatively delicious and the service was quite excellent. The acoustics in the restaurant does not dampen the sound of other diners.

It's a gem. Wonderful ambiance which has great energy but not noisy. Wait staff is attentive. Food is delicious. I have not had a bad dish.

We were invited by our family member to try Agate restaurant in Bainbridge. I was truly impressed by how scrumptious and beautiful the food was. We ordered crab cakes it was delicious. Then had scallops for entree- it melts in your mouth. If you'd like to try a romantic meal, i recommend agate.

Agate has emerged as the clear front-runner in upscale dining on Bainbridge Island with consistent, seasonal plates that are packed with flavor, and above-and-beyond service that is friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Among the most expensive dining options on the island, the environment is casual, comfortable, and full of energy that spills over from the well-appointed bar featuring craft cocktails in the open restaurant/bar floor plan. In addition to the cocktails, they have a fantastic wine list and always suggest perfect pairings whether by the glass per entrée or a bottle that will work with a table of diverse entrées. We dine there regularly with 70+ year-olds and while a boisterous room, speaking at natural volume and hearing conversations are not a problem. It is our special occasion go-to and a place we're also apt to hit on a regular Wednesday night if we're in the mood to be treated.

Pretty good stuff. For the price, that's kind of what you'd expect, or at least hope for, but especially with Bainbridge that's not always the case. That said, by and large the menu definitely manages to live up to expectations - this is really fancy food. Nothing I tried here was *bad*. The "fresh market fish" was especially impressive - king salmon with Romesco sauce and a variety of bright, delicious greens. Altogether it was just a beautifully complex dish, super tasty, pretty much perfectly cooked. Ordering a $40 plate, this is definitely what I'd hope to get. Elk burger came with a mountain of fries and felt like definitely the best value on the menu. Burger itself was well cooked, toppings were nice, I would've liked if the smoked cheese was a little more obvious, maybe a thicker slice, but with the garlic aioli (served on the side) it was hard to stop from just devouring the whole thing as fast as I could - tied it together fantastically. The fries were kind of like McDonalds fries, both visually and in flavor; which isn't inherently a bad thing. With the rosemary salt, they were great, very tasty. That said, I wouldn't want to pay $8 for them - they didn't seem all that fancy, seems like the kind of thing that would be very straightforward and cheap to recreate at home. Great as an (included) side for the burger though. (Bone-in) Pork tenderloin was good but probably the biggest disappointment of the night. Didn't feel like all that hefty of a serving, (only exacerbated by the pointlessly huge plate they served it on) didn't seem to be cooked in a particularly special way, and the components of the plate just seemed too simple. Sauce didn't have much of a "wild peppercorn flavor", wasn't especially rich, and neither of the side vegetables were especially flavorful either. As a $15-2x something meal it'd be solid, for $40 I was pretty let down. Cocktails were a little disappointing. Presentation and serving size wasn't nearly as appealing as their fun names. I respect their creativity, but at the end of the day it just didn't feel worth the money. The maple bourbon bread pudding was great. Apparently they have a person do all the desserts in-house. Felt like a surprisingly good value, decent portion size compared to a lot of other expensive desserts I've shelled out for. Like the fries and pork, not beyond straightforward recreation but the vanilla gelato and candied pecans were about as good as they come, nice way to wrap up the evening. Price aside, the fresh market fish was the best plate food I've had on the island. If money is no object and you live on Bainbridge, this place is definitely worth a try. On the other hand, if you're like me, I'd maybe only come again for the burger on a special occasion - felt like the most loaded plate in terms of serving size, it was good and not so terribly expensive that it wasn't comparable with most other places on the island.

An amazing dining experience lead by Alex and the rest of the staff. Food was over the top and the service was top shelf. Have not had many experiences like this lately. The art of fine dining is rare.

Amazing!!! What a wonderful experience! We were seated earlier than our reservation. The restraint was clean. The team was so over the top friendly. Our waiter, Rich.... The best service i may have ever had. He was attentive. Funny. Kind. We will be back and request him as our waiter. The food was so good that we didn't talk while we ate great portions. Prices were reasonable for what you received. The area was quiet and hidden. New favorite!!! Wonderful all around!

Excellent ambiance. Outdoor dining with a live folk singer...but we came for food. It did not disappoint ! The steaks, salmon and mushroom rigatoni were crowd pleasers. Excellent wines by the glass; cote d rhone and cabernet are recommended .

The reviews for this place are genuinely baffling bc this experience was sub mediocre. The food was especially so. The best thing we ate was the bread with whipped butter. For entrees, I got the halloumi plate, and it literally looked like something I would make at home when I'm in a hurry to throw dinner together. A piece of halloumi, some rice pilaf that wasn't any better than Whole Foods' boxed pilaf with chickpeas mixed in. My friends ordered the pasta and the burger and let's just say we all left food and politely declined to go boxes. The service was very sporadic and the coursing was way off; we waited a very long time for drinks, and then for the bread, and then for the entrees. The only person who was on top of it was the person refilling our waters -- she was by every 10 min it seemed and our waters were always full. Pretty much the only positive thing about this place was the location and that there's easy parking. Give this restaurant a hard pass. Seabird is definitely better, the brewery in the same complex is better, Blackbird Bakery is better etc etc etc

We enjoyed a fabulous evening at this island gem last night. The service was outstanding as always and the food was delicious. We dined outside and had the perfect summer night to do so, cozy and lovely vibe. The creative combinations of flavors were a treat for the senses. The light yet flavorful King Salmon presentation was amazing and the halibut presentation was incredible as well. Both were complex and fresh and elevated already delicious fresh seafood. Perfect summer dishes! On the the desserts, oh my! Don't miss the chance to try any (we may have gotten all of them for our group!) of the offerings as we had a difficult time ranking them. All were so yummy! I highly recommend this creative and consistently high quality establishment!

Wonderful place with wonderful staff. Food is 10/10 and same with dessert. The budino is to die for!

OK, so we loved the ambience, the starters (veal terrine, beef cabobs) were delicious. The Caesar salad was sub-par. I must interject here that the service was exquisite (thank you Cassie)! Great cocktails, awesome wine. However.... and I really do not like to say this, but the entrees were not so great. OK, so the scallops were perfectly cooked, yum, but just 3, could have eaten more. And the worst part was the steak, a New York strip, not particularly big, great frites along with it, and the steak was cooked to perfection! However....it was not tasty! No seasoning, a bit of gristle, no sauce, would have liked a bit of sauce. Oh dear. But we cleansed our palates with grappa and armagnac and the budino, that was totally delicious!

NOT worth the wait! We made a reservation for 7 and showed up early and asked to come back a little after 7pm. Did and didn't actually get seated for almost another 45minutes. We sat at the bar & the bartender reluctantly took our appetizer order. When we finally got seated - no wait staff for another almost 10 minutes when we knew what we wanted. Then another 30minutes for food. The food was good but not waiting for about an hour and half for! I was greatly disappointed by my prawn pasta and we were so tired from waiting for food and to be seated that we barely had an appetite. Plus we never were compensated, or celebrated even though the reservation had special event on it. Then we had to remind our waitress of our appetizer for the bill. If they're not ready at the time of your reservation, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Me and my wife have been visiting Bainbridge island for years. Agate restaurant is such a breath of fresh air. Amazing creative cooking was so needed on this island. We have been multiple times and every time the ever changing menu has WOWED us.. the fish is simply the best cooked fish I may have ever had. I encourage everyone visiting the island to make a reservation at Agate. Keep it up

Underwhelmed. We came here based on reviews. I had the St Patrick's Day special and my spouse had the scallops with polenta cakes with red pepper sauce. She said hers lacked any flavor, I tried a bite and yes they definitely seemed bland although cooked nice and correctly. My dinner had the typical corned beef, colored carrots, mashed potatoes and cabbage. My vegetables were good but the beef was as the title says, under whelming. Half was too tough to eat, must have been rushed to cooked. Can't say we'd come back. We live south of Bainbridge and were hoping for something more special as we hadn't been to this island since the 1980's. Oh well......

One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. Hands down. I'm questioning Yelp and Yelpers right now.. how did this place not appear as like THE top restaurant in Bainbridge? We got a table outside, it was a rainy night but they have their setup figured out! They have an umbrella and two heaters, also they play music that everyone at the table will love. On to the food! We tried so many dishes! Halibut and crab cakes were TOP notch. Literally might be the best crab cake I've ever had. We also had wine, port, and dessert all recommended by our waitress. Everything was so standout and our waitress was so wonderful! Yolanda you made our evening!!

The food was delicious, as were the cocktails, and the service was excellent. Fine(st) dining coordination among staff. We just happened upon Agate and recommend it enthusiastically.

We went for dinner shortly after Agate Pass Cafe opened on Bainbridge Island. My husband and I both liked the cocktail and dinner menus. Everything we ordered was excellent. My husband was impressed with the quality of the meat and it was "cooked perfectly"--might be the first time since living in the Seattle area he's said that... The service, however, was terrible (order taken wrong, food served at odd times, no water refills), but being brand new, I won't rate them too harshly on it... give them a little time to work through the kinks and when I dine here again, I'll update!

Agate restaurant is more than a place to eat, it's a artisan studio serving edible works of art. I love their pairings of nouvelle and provincial food. They offer colorful, locally-sourced vegan entrees anyone with tastebuds can enjoy! Agate's covered, outdoor patio is next to Bainbridge Island Art Museum. We have appetizers/drinks/dinner and chat after seeing an exhibition. Not even the Seattle Art Museum or SAAM has a proper restaurant in the same complex.

My wife and I have recently fallen in love with Agate and have been a couple times in the past few months. We live on the island and this is, hands-down, one of the finest restaurants on the island. The food is seasonal, of high quality, and generally delicious. Each time we've been, the menu has been different, and we've taken advantage of the variety of items to order several appetizers, main courses, sides and desserts. All were delicious--we haven't encountered a single item that we wouldn't enthusiastically order again. MAJOR bonus points to Agate for being creative with their use of vegetables and other plant-based ingredients for their dishes. As a vegetarian, this is extremely welcome and it speaks to the effort and thoughtfulness that Agate puts into their cuisine. High quality service from cheerful staff. Each experience has been a downright pleasure. Re: COVID--Agate has plentiful, spaced indoor and outdoor seating (we've eaten outside both times). All personnel were appropriately masked and were thoughtful regarding sanitary precautions. We felt 100% comfortable eating there and with the precautions they were taking, so props to Agate for that. Reservations: yes Good for kids: no Outdoor seating: yes (with a few heaters available for colder days) Several dishes are vegetarian-friendly, and some could probably be customized for vegans as well.

We spent a month on the island. One goal was to find the best place to get a great meal. Agate was in a league of its own. Food, setting, service 5 stars!

We spent the weekend on Bainbridge and thought we would go out for a nice dinner. We were pleasantly surprised with how great this restaurant was. The restaurant ambiance we very delightful, the service was top notch and the cuisine was exquisite. I have been to a few higher end restaurants where the actual experience and food quality didn't live up to the reputation but the Agate Restaurant exceeded my expectations. Our meal was worth every cent!!!

Really good food, great vibe, and the staff is always so lovely. The salmon dip is to die for as well as the salads. I love going here for special occasions. It's very reasonably priced food for the quality and effort. Love this place.

Agate has risen to the top of the BI restaurant list and is one of my three great recommendations on the Island. The cooking is perfection - I've never had a meal that was less than excellent. The service is friendly, very professional and attentive without being obtrusive. The atmosphere is busy, but conversation is easy. A great dining experience for visitors and a comfortable haunt for locals.

Agate is one of my favorite restaurants on BI. Easy bar seating, really good food, staff is super professional.

Tenth anniversary spent in utter comfort and care. The best part was the warmth of familiar service from two of the most legendary table-side humans, Yolanda and Rich. Amazing cocktails, perfect wines paired with our individuals meals, courses of tasty yumminess that exceeded expectations. Even the busser was putting off groovy vibes. We are just really grateful for a perfect night out after so long without such treatment. Thanks, Agate!

After experiencing a terrible meal the previous night, we were so happy to find Agate. The food was very good- the pork chop was excellent, the steak was good but not the best cut so that is one area of improvement- and was well priced. The service was fantastic. It was personal, fun, and such a treat to have a server who enjoyed his job. A sign of a well managed, positive environment that encouraged quality. Thank you for a lovely night.

Well I can't say I was surprised, but what a fantastic dinner we had. This is a beautiful spot, and the kitchen really delivers. I had the prawn pasta. The prawns were perfectly cooked, as was the pasta. This towards the end of a busy night, so doubly impressive. The vodka sauce could not have been better, and the oysters with which I started as delicate as could be, with a really distinctive mignonette. Dessert - a ricotta cake and home made walnut liqueur - were a lovely finish. I'm a pretty good cook, but I couldn't come close to this level. The service was also excellent and I must say I highly recommend a visit.

Excellent restaurant. Great spot for a meal in Bainbridge. The menu has a nice set of options ranging from seafood to beef to pasta. I came here in the spring and there was a good crowd but it wasn't overflowing. To me, it's not a destination restaurant but worth visiting if you are in the area.

We went here for a special occasion dinner for 10 people on Saturday. They did a great job! I arranged to have some wine and appetizers ready at the table for when we arrived, and then everybody ordered off the menu for their mains and desserts. Everything was excellent - I don't think anybody didn't love their food! Atmosphere was great, and the service was exceptional. I would highly recommend this for a nice night out.

Fantastic food, service and cocktails. We had the steak tenderloin and it was perfectly cooked. Great ambience and fun vibes.

A fabulous server made the evening decent. We ordered salads that were delightful followed by $45 fish entrees that were disgusting. I would not be writing this review except that the owner made zero effort to respond to a more discreet contact. Simply didn't give a damn that I was served a piece of salmon that was spoiled and should never have been put on a plate. The server took it away and did not charge it to the bill, which was appropriate since I took one bite and spit it out. The others in our group ordered the halibut. Nothing at all wrong with the fish, just atrocious cooking; it was an overcooked stringy mess. We have eaten there before and all it would have taken is concern and common courtesy, perhaps with an explanation as to what was wrong that night. Nothing. Nada. Zip. We won't be back.
