Yelp
I am so sorry if this ruffles feathers, but I personally feel like all the "positive" reviews are lies. They are either bought by the company, or are genuinely people who do not know what authentic Mexican cuisine tastes like.
Our fajita nachos with steak tasted like a Philly cheesesteak sandwich from a gas station (a place w no business making Philly cheesesteaks). The steak is more like cubed steak than anything. If you live in GA you know what La Parilla is, and this doesn't even come close to that realm of already gentrified Mexican cuisine.
On top of this, we got drinks that were extremely sugary. I know my fellow tequila lovers and beverage lovers know what I mean when I say it truly taste like for a 32 oz margarita, they put 2 shots of tequila if not 1. It literally had none.
The worst part about this is when you pay card, it costs more. Our check for 3 drinks, 1 appetizer, and 2 meals was nearly $100 after tip. The food did not meet those standards AT ALL. The only thing worth paying extra for was the tip for our poor waiter who was more or less working the entire restaurant by himself (tall kind man with a beard). He said there was another server present, but I promise you he wasn't doing anything and looked like the bartender going around upset he had to help the ONE SERVER they had on the floor (shorter man wearing acid wash 2013 capris he probably calls shorts). It was disheartening to watch as someone who's worked as a server myself.
We literally left with stomachaches and upset stomach issues when we got home. I am very shocked at the audacity the thrill of tourism has to make out of town folk believe this spot is safe or authentic worthy of such a large cost for the quality. Do not do this to yourself.
