Definitely a must try. I recommend coming on a Taco Tuesday so you can try all of.the tacos & find the ones you like most. Awesome drinks specials l. Great ambiance. Megan our server was helpful & friendly. I recommend the pork buns & steak tacos. My girl liked the fish tacos & the nachos.

My husband and had such an incredible dining experience at Agave Social last week! This place is a true gem, from its dedicated scratch kitchen to its outstanding service. Every dish we tried was a burst of bold, unforgettable flavors, clearly crafted with high-quality ingredients. The chef-driven tacos, built on their amazing freshly made, in-house tortillas, are an absolute highlight. What truly made our visit special was the exceptional service. Our waitress, Heather, was incredibly knowledgeable about every single item on the menu, guiding us to perfect choices. And we were so impressed when Bailey, the manager, even came by to personally welcome us as first-time visitors. The cocktails are also a must-try - they're inventive and delicious! We can't wait to return to Agave Social and explore more of their menu.

There are no words to describe how amazing this place is! 🤤 I do want to make a point to say that our server, "V," was definitely a highlight to our date night. She knew anything and everything about the menu. Ask for her and I promise you'll have a wonderful time. The manager Lexi came by and checked on us and was wonderful as well. Our food, hands down perfection! There wasn't one thing we ordered we didn't love. We will definitely be back for sure, real soon. 10/10! 😊 🥃🍷🌮

Google
AMAZING! From beginning to end, the experience was superb. Our waitress was incredibly patient ale courteous and very knowledgeable of the menu. We asked her to just bring food out as it was made as we ordered appetizers and tacos. The food came out in about 10 minutes. It was prepared and served so quickly that Chef Ludo (hope that's right 😕), came to the table with our last appetizer and started to apologize for putting out the food so quickly and all together! We explained that everything was perfect and came out as asked. We conversed for a few minutes and got to know her on a personal level, I loved that! Drinks were amazing and super fast to come out as well. Our first time here, won't be the last! Thank you to everyone at Agave Social for making our first visit memorable, enjoyable, and simply delicious!

Google
Amazing! We had Morgan as our server and she was absolutely fabulous! So sweet and helpful. She also had a lovely manager Lexi who dropped by our table and chatted with us! Fantastic staff and service! Everything we ate was delicious - from tacos to queso to beets. Trust me, I’ll be back to have the beets again! 🥰

Google
Vast menu options, especially on the weekend. Our group enjoyed our apps and entrees. Our server was personable with spot on recommendations. Our booth was comfy, but it’s an open atmosphere that gets loud. We will all be back and excited to try more dishes (full of flavor, good portions, customizable). Impressive! -photos of Headbanger burrito, Cesar salad, Gaucho bowl, and Hangover taco.

I went here for my birthday recently, and although the wait was long, even when we joined the wait list an hour prior, it was worth it. We were seated in the enclosed patio area that was very cozy. The food and drinks were amazing. I did not get a picture of the reese's pieces of heaven churros because we all ate them quickly! I definitely recommend coming here.

Google
We had such a wonderful time today in this relaxed and comfortable atmosphere with indoor seating in the front, and also in the back of the restaurant where we sat that felt like we were outside even though its enclosed. The seating had big couches, tables, and chairs, and we were comfortable. Our server was exceptional, very attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about every dish, and it paid off. All the food is healthy, fresh, creative and really delicious! Look forward to coming back! Update! Went back with my husband who is very picky. He loved it! Went with a large group of friends, took a co worker a couple days ago, and today with more family who loved it as well. Five times in two weeks speaks for itself. I have to say the consistant delicious food along with a bartender who really knows how to make a true margarita made me come back to give this place a well deserved 5 stars which as you all know is rare. Service again was exceptional. Love it!

Yelp
We had such a great experience! Our server Dax was so kind and knowledgeable about the menu. We had just left the vet with our doggie who has cancer and wanted to get a quick bite. They were so accommodating and their "outside" patio is fully enclosed, air conditioned and pup friendly. Not to mention the margaritas and food were absolutely fantastic!

Marissa G.

Yelp
My favorite restaurant in this area. The brisket nachos are some of the best nachos i've ever had in my life. The management is so nice and service is great. They don't skimp on the alcohol in the drinks either

Kristy M.

Yelp
Craft cocktails and fresh, made from scratch food. I was too excited about the tacos to take a picture. We went on taco Tuesday so all the different tacos were a la carte - all were amazing. The chorizo queso is also worth trying. The drinks were strong and delicious - a little on the sweet side so next time I'll probably follow up with something different.

Yelp
Agave Social absolutely delivered. I went with the burrito, my wife had the tacos, and both were phenomenal--rich flavor, fresh ingredients, and prepared in a way that actually makes you stop mid-bite to appreciate it. The service was excellent: attentive without hovering, and genuinely welcoming. Drinks are another highlight here. Not an afterthought, but crafted with the same attention to detail as the food. I'd recommend pairing them with your meal--you won't regret it. In short, Agave Social sets a high bar for both food and hospitality in Tampa. We left already talking about when we'll be back.

Yelp
For a place that's literally named after tequila, don't expect a good margarita. My husband and I are visiting family in Tampa from Austin and wanted to have a mexican food and margarita night. I'm truly shocked by the good reviews here, because our experience was lackluster at best. Margaritas were watery and I couldn't even taste the tequila, I asked the waitress if she had anything more spirit forward on the cocktail menu and she said no Food was decent but overpriced for the portion sizes. Service was absolutely abysmal, our waitress was SO slow, and not attentive. The restaurant is also SO loud, I had to yell for the people at my table to hear me, and my ears were ringing for a few hours after being here. I like to think of myself as a generally agreeable customer - as you can see from my Yelp reviews, I don't typically give low ratings. Maybe I have high standards because I'm used to great cocktail programs and generally good value food in Austin, but I expected a LOT more.

Yelp
Came here bc I got a coupon for a free app from the Yelp Event and I had never been here. I didn't know they were in the same group as Shaker and Peel which I do love. We started off with the Korean Chicken Wings. We had the sauce on the side in case it was too spicy for us. The wings were meatier which was nice but I didn't love the flavor of the sauce. It does have a little kick at the end but I was okay with that. Not too much heat. Just the flavor was not a fave. I then ordered three tacos. The volcano shrimp was my fave, then the umami steak. The grouper was a disappointment but I was trying to make sure I didn't get the spicy elements of it. I ended up getting a very plain fish taco that was the least fave. My husband got the gaucho bowl which he liked. I thought it was ok but I didn't love it either. The steak was too chewy. The other ingredients in the bowl made it better especially the pickled onion. It was nice also not to have any rice. I love a layering of flavors but there was too many spicy elements on these tacos from what I saw on the menu. I can see how it is similar to the menu and options at Shaker And Peel and definitely loved it much better there. It's in Oldsmar so it's def a distance from each other. The server was nice, but for a while she was MIA. I asked someone else for silverware, I waited a while for water refill. And a while to get my fish taco changed since it did appear to have jalapeño on it while I had mentioned I couldn't tolerate much spicy. I am glad I tried it, but it's not a repeat. I am happy to learn of the other restaurants in the group with this one which I have been to all and did enjoy. The decor here is nice and the inside outside area seems more spacious. It does have a/c but since it's like a covered patio, it's not as cool.

Yelp
We sat at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We didn't get her name but the blonde haired bartender was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. The staff were very friendly and all menu items are prepared to order. They have multiple offerings for a blend of Mexican and Asian style cuisine. The elote street corn queso blanco was a nice twist to queso blanco as all the unique flavors complimented each other well. Pro Tip: Get the Bao Buns and dip them in the queso! All tacos are served a la carte but have a unique spin on flavor combinations. The umami steak was my favorite as it had a little bit of spice and tender steak with crispy onions & slaw. I'd highly recommend trying this place when you're in the area. We look forward to coming back & trying more items they have to offer!
google avatar

Yelp
One of my favorite spots for Taco Tuesday! They had a special today for Korean Bao Buns that was absolutely delicious. We always get their Street Corn which is actually a cheesy seasoned queso dip with corn and nachos. Some of my favorite tacos are the Umami Steak, Wild Child, and Deep South Grouper. On Tuesdays, their tacos are $1 off. Their drinks are also very tasty! Highly recommend this place. They can get very busy but they have a text messaging wait system and you can see your place in line as well.

Yelp
I tried Agave Social for the first time on a Friday night and really enjoyed the experience. Showed up around 5 p.m. and sat at the bar and was immediately greeted by friendly staff. We got the elote and 4 different taco offerings and thought they were top tier. The Nashville Hot Chicken taco was easily my favorite! The margaritas were also really good. The place is very casual but the vibes were good overall. I also felt the prices were fair (about $4 per taco). The bill for two people with two drinks (total) came to $50. There are two things keeping me from giving Agave Social 5 stars. First, there didn't seem to be any communication between the bartenders, all of whom asked at least twice if we wanted to order or re-order after we already ordered. Secondly, the tacos are small. Not Bar Taco small, but I wish there was more to them. Nevertheless, I'll be back. Great addition to the area!

Yelp
Today is my first time trying Agave and what a wonderful experience. I was first greeted and welcomed by Bailey who was absolutely professional and friendly. Then I was waited on by Bryanna and her service was magnificent as well. She gave me great service. Thank you ladies. Now for the food. I went with 2 Grouper tacos and a steak taco. Absolutely Amazing. With street corn on the side. Thank you for a wonderful experience Agave

Yelp
This was our second visit to Agave Social and let me tell you... they've secured a spot on our repeat list. From the moment you walk up to that bold sign, you already know it's about to be good. We kicked things off with their signature margarita flight, a whole moment on its own. Each one had its own lil personality: spicy, sweet, citrusy, and smooth. I could've stopped right there, but baby... we don't half-do flavor. Let's talk food: Tacos were chef's kiss...perfectly seasoned, colorful, and full of texture. The wings....Sticky, flavorful, and finger-lickin' good. The queso dip and chips came out fresh and piping hot...don't skip it. Every cocktail we tried was crafted to perfection. We sat outside on the open-air deck which added to the whole chill, vibey energy. Perfect for a casual day date or catching up with friends. The inside looked nice too, but the natural light and breeze had us sold. Service was attentive both times.....friendly, quick, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell the team enjoys being there, and it shows. This is the type of spot that makes you want to slow down, sip slow, and enjoy the moment. Whether you're a taco lover, a margarita girlie, or just out here chasing vibes... Agave Social is it.

Yelp
Came for Taco Tuesday... stayed for the flavor! Swung by Agave Social after work, and while the place was buzzing with post-office energy, I lucked out with a spot at the bar. There was already a waitlist forming, which is always a good sign. Ordered a Negra Modelo, took in the atmosphere - music was playing at a mellow volume beneath the hum of conversation, and a few TVs were on, but it didn't feel like a sports bar. Just the right balance. From the folks behind Craft Street Kitchen, Shaker & Peel, and Zim Zari, I expected solid food--and Agave delivered. It was Taco Tuesday, so I went all in. Tacos are a la carte, mix and match, no substitutions. I got four tacos for $13.50, which felt like a great deal considering the creativity and quality. Here's the breakdown: Hot Honey Heat (House Favorite) Buttermilk fried chicken, habanero honey, garlic pepper aioli, pickles, and corn slaw on a flour tortilla. Crispy, sweet-heat perfection. 10/10 Notorious P.I.G. Pulled pork, agave BBQ, jalapeño slaw, garlic pepper aioli, and salt & vinegar chips on a corn tortilla. Tasty, but the flavors didn't pop as much. 7/10. Deep South Grouper Tajin beer-battered gulf grouper, cabbage, jalapeño aioli, tomatillo chow-chow, and hot Takis on a corn tortilla. Spicy with great texture and crunch. 8/10 Double Barrel Brisket Smoked brisket, tequila-agave BBQ sauce, slaw, jalapeño, aioli, and crispy onions on a corn tortilla. Bold, smoky, and layered. 10/10 Overall, Agave Social is a must-visit for taco lovers. Great atmosphere, creative food, and solid service. I'll definitely be back to try more.

Yelp
Agave Social delivered. The servers and bartenders are great. The ambience on the patio is nice and the food is spectacular. I ordered the wild child tacos (v) with a side salad on my last visit and those tacos are the best I've bet had in my entire life. I can't stop raving about them. I will be visiting again so to get my hands on those tacos.

Yelp
Yesterday was my first time at this spot, though my partner had been once before with friends for a birthday. He opted for the margarita flight, and I indulged in a couple of fantastic vodka cocktails: the "Southern Bell" and "Peaches, Spice & Everything Nice" (they happily swapped Tito's for tequila!). At our server's recommendation, we started with the "Fundido," and seriously, it was the best queso I have ever, ever had. We then dove into four tacos each, and every single one was a winner. While they were all amazing, the "Wagyu Cheeseburger Taco" stole the show - it was absolutely incredible! Our server was a gem - kind, attentive, and her recommendations were flawless. I wish I could recall her name, but she was brunette, of Czech descent, and had some cool forearm tattoos. If you've ever enjoyed "Green Lemon" in South Tampa, you have to try this place. It's just as good, if not even better! Exactly what North Tampa was missing.

Yelp
Agave isn't your typical Mexican restaurant--it's a curated experience that instantly puts you in a Happy Hour state of mind. The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, and the food? Absolutely packed with flavor. You can taste the passion behind every dish; this isn't just following a recipe--it's crafted with heart. We haven't tried their tacos yet, but their queso is amazing!
google avatar

Vivi L.

Yelp
Very good Mexican fusion. All items i tried were delicious and new takes on classics. They give you the ability to choose which tacos you want and buy them as singles which is a plus for someone who can't decide. Brisket tacos and chicken taco were the best for me. Brisket was very tender and flavorful and the manchego cheese used in the chicken taco was not something I've come across but went well with the sauce they used. Would order both again. also tried the Reese's pb churros which were fine but a bit underwhelming. Recommend the food for sure

Jennifer J.

Yelp
I placed an order online for pick up and even got a text my order was ready shortly after. However when I arrived to the restaurant, I guess they forgot to make it and I had to wait. This wasn't off to a good start. 15 minutes later I had my food in hand. Once I was able to dig into my gaucho bowl I forgot about the earlier mishap. The ingredients were fresh, everything from the skirt steak to the blue potatoes and pickled onions and corn. The portion size is good especially since one bowl costs $20. I will definitely be ordering from Agave Social again!
google avatar

Sydnee A.

Yelp
Food? Incredible. Service? Flawless. Noise level? Full-volume concert in a blender. We weren't talking, we were yelling. Perfect for date night if you miss screaming at festivals and concerts!
google avatar

Jen C.

Yelp
They don't take reservations so if you have a large party you'll likely find yourself waiting as I did. They offer both indoor and covered patio seating. It's a bit loud with the music. But the food was pretty good. I had chicken cessar salad which had a nice spiced twist on the dressing. They offer both brunch and lunch on weekends. Portions are very large.
google avatar

Kenz T.

Yelp
Went with my friends to have dinner at this restaurant so we all could try it out for the first time. The whole vibe and decoration of this place was beautiful and we really enjoyed the environment. The food was delicious, I had the Umami Steak Taco and the Island Jerk Taco which were one of the best tacos Ive ever had before, great combination of flavors! And to drink I ordered El Coco Loco which was delicious, and even though I don't really enjoy jalapeños, it was amazing in this drink. The service in the other hand was a little troubled. One of my friends never had her order taken and when she finally did place her order, the whole order was wrong. She was also charged for something that she never ordered on top of that. I would definitely visit this restaurant again, but would love to see the service improve. But at the end, I enjoyed my time here.
google avatar

Yelp
Wow! I am so impressed! I received a free appetizer from a Yelp event and that is what triggered me to try Agave. I went with a party of 5 and we all had a great experience! They have a happy hour until 6pm everyday including the weekend and it includes drinks and food. The drinks were great! I had a couple of house margaritas and they weren't overly sweet or artificial tasting. I ordered the Gaucho Bowl and enjoyed that but my fave was the Queso Fundido which had wagyu and chorizo. The server was friendly and enthusiastic. My only negatives were the hot honey plantains were not great, and the restaurant was hot when we were there. I'm not sure if the AC was working properly and lastly, if not for happy hour it is pretty pricey.
google avatar

Krystle M.

Yelp
I'm so ecstatic to be the 100th review for this local hot spot! I stopped in (totally unplanned) for a couple of tacos. I had no idea it was a sit-down restaurant and since I was alone, I just sat at the bar. I was going to have a couple of mimosas so I decided to order the bottomless option which is $18. They have a variety of flavors for mimosas, including the obvious orange, mango, passionfruit, strawberry and even cranberry. For food, I ordered the simple chicken taco without pico de gallo and the double barrel brisket taco. I really liked the simple chicken taco. The brisket taco was alright but the fried onions aren't really my style. The service at the bar was very good, and the restaurant appears to be very well managed as it is presently heavily patronized on this Sunday. I look forward to returning with friends and family!

Yelp
My first time at this place, and I really liked it! It's a great spot for a pre-game with friends on a Friday or Saturday night. However, the customer service wasn't the best at the time, even though the place wasn't busy, it felt a bit disorganized. The food was super delicious and fresh! I ordered the Birria Grilled Cheese, and WOW! exquisite! A must-try for birria lovers like me. The Hibiskiss cocktail, made with mezcal, was really good. I was hoping for the bubble for the full experience, but the weather and wind didn't cooperate. It was also my first time trying mezcal, and I discovered that I actually like it! I definitely want to come back.
google avatar

Sharilyn T.

Yelp
It was my first time at this restaurant, and I really enjoyed both the atmosphere and the food. However, the service fell a bit short--it felt somewhat disorganized. I tried the Gaucho Bowl, and it was delicious. I also ordered the Hibiskiss, a mezcal cocktail with hibiscus, and if you're a mezcal fan, you definitely have to try it--it was excellent. I'll definitely be back since it's a great restaurant, and I want to explore more of the menu. That said, the service could use some improvement.
google avatar

Maria Karla A.

Yelp
The restaurant is pretty cool and chill. I would define it as Fusion Mexican, everything from the tortillas to the agave they use for the cocktails are made from scratch there. Not going to lie, the service was not the best this time. We waited a while before the server came to us for the first time and then there were repetitive mistakes with our orders. The food was delicious, the Volcano Shrimp taco is my favorite so far and the No pain No gain cocktail absolutely amazing! Everything that we tried was tasty and flavorful. I would recommend to try it.
google avatar

Sara S.

Yelp
Outstanding. The food, the service, the hosts, the ambiance. All around great experience. The umami steak taco is a must if you have to pick one. All of them were flavorful and were actually filled. I feel like we're getting gypped at Bartaco with their two bite morsels. Agave Social tacos are full and full of flavors. Wish we had one in South Tampa!
google avatar

Carrie S.

Yelp
They have an amazing beet salad - if you like beets it's a must try! The birria empanadas were delicious as well as the gaucho bowl! The screened in outdoor seating was really nice and our waitress was very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend this yummy taco place with unique twists!
google avatar

Marina L.

Yelp
I came here with some friends for my birthday lunch and it was a good time! I started with the Hibiskiss Smokeshow, it's a great well balanced hibiscus margarita, I had to get a second one! They even do a little nice smoke presentation with it! Then we moved to the appetizers, we started with the Korean fried chicken wings, they were so good! We also got some brisket nachos which were my favorite appetizer! We finished it all! Soooo good! The birria empanadas and the bao down were good as well! But I am coming back for those nachos. As my entree, I got the gaucho bowl, and was my favorite thing from the whole lunch, it was so good, steak was on point and all the flavors in the bowl were just so good! The only thing I would take out next time is the potatoes, they were a little bit too seasoned for me, but the rest was great! It was mainly a good experience, the only thing is that the service was a little bit slow, and they were not that busy. We had to wait too long for some drinks, some food came first than the rest and we ordered all at the same time, but of course I'll give it another try soon!
google avatar

Mireya R.

Yelp
Been to Agave a handful of times. Their tacos are very unique but pretty flavorful. They have something for everyone, but my favorite item on the menu are the bao buns!
google avatar

Amyn H.

Yelp
Britney was fantastic. She had an entire group of like 90 people and she did an incredible job. I don't know how she remembers who owed what but she gave everyone great service, was always approachable, and ran probably about 40 different individual checks for us. The ambience and food were fantastic as always but tonight Britney was the star. Thank you Britney!
google avatar

Brigitte L.

Yelp
Brought the hubs in since he's never been here. I tried the bowls -- add shrimp to mine instead of steak or chicken and wowza was it good. Comes with cauliflower in it and everything is roasted perfectly. The flavors are just fantastic! The sauce is a bit on the spicy side just heads up.
google avatar

Deborah K.

Yelp
Hubby wanted a Yuengling beer and waitress wasn't able to accommodate so offered his 2nd fave, Stella. Then a manager came over and apologized that Stella wasn't ready for sale so ended up giving him a Yuengling on the house! Great service! First time going for dinner. Ate outside but still was fairly loud. Going for lunch is nicer for low volume. Tried to Barria grilled cheese with plantains on the side. Yum. Hubby got the ribeye taco special and a grouper taco. Both had some heat.
google avatar

Debbie S.

Yelp
Service provider was Ashlyn and our women's group had GREAT SERVICE with a HUGE SMILE! I I was so happy there were vegetarian dishes and I had a cauliflower bowl with SO MUCH FLAVOR! So different than I have ever had! We had a queso street corn appetizer and watch out for HOT SPICES! We sat outside which DOES have A/C and the ambiance was wonderful but be prepared to yell across the table as music is loud and high ceiling make it very loud!

Yelp
A family celebration brought 3 generations of family together and Agave Social evolved as our backdrop. Newly situated in a strip plaza on the southeast corner of Erlich and Dale Mabry is a Mexican themed restaurant boasting a fusion of many world foods. Mexican, Peruvian, Korean, Jamaican, Chinese, Japanese and American to name a few. Most in the form of tacos, bowls and entrees. A casual atmosphere with lounge type seating and a quick pace. First thing I noticed is they charge for chips and salsa...Boooooo!! Bad form! Shame on you! Well, got that out of my system. Each bowl and taco and entree is crafted with some countries typical food in mind with an array of typical ingredients from that nation in an original twist on Mexican, Asian and American foods. There seems to be something for everyone. Every dish in our group rated between 4 to 5 stars. Well crafted, savory and similar in their authenticity to the real thing they emulated. Service was quick, attentive, team-driven and pleasant. The kids dug the fries but did not seem too keen on their chicken tenders. They do have an interesting and creative group of tacos and bowls to choose from. 2 out of 3 of my tacos were superb, 2 out of 3 of our bowls were highly rated and my sons Wagyu Burger was top shelf. The Korean Wings were a solid 4, very sticky and messy with intense flavors. It's a modest menu full of interesting choices with moderate pricing and a vast spectrum of flavors. There is indoor and enclosed patio dining. The bar has seating on both sides and there is an extensive drink list and many takes on Margaritas. Not quite sure I would return. Was not a big fan of their classic margarita and to me, some places are 1 and done. Having said that, I was curious about a couple items on the menu, like the brisket nachos, but then again...they charge for chips and salsa. That is a big deterrant for me, especially if I am out and about with tacos and tequila on my mind. They must have some version of free chips and salsa to garner my taco business. You can charge for the queso.

Yelp
Nice spot! Really like that they have an outdoor covered patio area for dining where families and dogs are welcome. Really nice menu selections a broad range of options. We ordered the giant burrito, hot honey chicken taco, the wagyu burger taco and the brisket taco, all three great but the chicken and brisket were my fav! It was a bit of a wait for our food but the service was otherwise fantastic! Our server was friendly, attentive, honest and quick to make great recommendations! The setup is nice casual and cozy, overall nice!

Yelp
Visited Agave Social for the first time this weekend and let me tell you it did NOT disappoint! The flavor of everything we ordered was on point! Started off with the Queso Fundido and it was so good with chorizo! I also ordered the Umami Steak Taco & The Wagyu Cheeseburger Taco both were super flavorful and I would definitely order these again! The Umami Steak was tender and marinated to perfection! The tortillas were soft and fresh! The restaurant is beautiful and I enjoyed the decor and open bar concept that joins the outdoor bar area with the coziness of the inside area! The waitress told me to come check it out for lunch, she advised they offer a lunch special with 3 tacos and a side for $12 which is pretty amazing! Can't wait to come back and try some of their other amazing dishes!

Yelp
Came here for dinner recently after searching for a great taco place close to home. Agave Social is relatively new and we just happened to find it on taco Tuesday. The restaurant is very well laid out with a large bar area in the middle. The area we sat looked like the windows could roll up and provide outdoor seating when the weather was cooler. So they have 10 different unique taco options and since it was taco Tuesday we decided to order all ten and split them. The flavors are really unique and while we certainly liked some better than others there were none that we couldn't eat. Our server Brittany was both personable and helpful in our selection and was amazing at keeping our drinks full. While I can't remember all of the taco namesI can say that the wagyu beef was my favorite and the quinoa was second to that. I do recommend getting all ten especially if you come on taco Tuesday. We were very impressed and will be back soon.

Yelp
Had an amazing experience at agave and a big part of that was thanks to our server, Vionda! From the moment we sat down, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive without being overbearing. she took the time to walk us through the menu, gave honest and thoughtful recommendations. Our drinks were never empty, the pacing between courses was perfect, and they checked in just enough to make sure everything was spot on. We ended up trying a few dishes we might not have ordered otherwise on their suggestion and every single one was fantastic. You could tell they genuinely cared about our experience. Great service like this makes all the difference. We left full, happy!! i f you're dining here ask for Vionda if you can she was so sweet!

Yelp
The food and atmosphere was great! There was a line of people waiting when we arrived and yet we were able to be seated within 10 minutes... great! I loved the outside (enclosed) seating but my daughter and husband did not enjoy this. It was too humid for their comfort. We ordered drinks which were great, I had the basil drink.. yum! Then we ordered appetizers, nachos and beets. The beets were fantastic, the nachos were ok. The serving size was large but my daughter and husband were not thrilled with the flavor. I orders the cali-bowl for an entree and it was flavorly fantastic! The rest of my party ordered tacos. They all enjoyed the various tacos. Overall it was good, the wait for food service after ordering though was very long. The staff were friendly.

Yelp
I live in Texas, and I'm pretty sure I am going to be visiting Agave Social every time I fly out to Tampa. Everything I have tried there has been great, but the Wild Child tacos are amazing and an absolute must have for me!

Yelp
Put your name on the waitlist! We did we arrived and there were three tables ahead of us. It was packed line out the door. And this is on Saturday at 4:45. Inside as loud they got the TVs going lots of high tops around the bar, everyone's having a great time. Cocktails were very tasty. We ordered a flight. We ordered something with a bubble of air. I'm sorry I forgot, but I do have some pictures. I got the brisket taco and the chicken my table also ordered the grouper taco didn't like the Taki chips on the top at all Billy distracted from the food. Service was good. It was Ashley. She knew exactly what she was doing. She was very West Hollywood. That's why we loved her! Price right at four dollars a taco how can you go wrong atmosphere was Hoppin everyone was younger with little tiny babies. It was fun. We enjoyed it.

Yelp
Stopped by on recommendation of friends, greeted promptly and seated on patio. Very spacious and cool. Kayla explained the different menu options and also how margaritas are made with natural agave. We ordered brisket tacos, quinoa taco with hibiscus shell and a chicken taco. Food was exceptional, came out hot and very flavorful. Meat was tender. Pricing was reasonable too. Great experience, great lunch meal.

Yelp
Omg! I don't even know where to start.. This place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! From the ambience, service, and the food this place is everything! My husband and I came here for lunch and were greeted by Dax our server. He knew everything literally about everything to eat here and was very kind & attentive. After we enjoyed every bite of our meal Marty came to our table to ask if we enjoyed our lunch... Uuuhhhhh Yes ma'am is all we could say! We were really literally in awe of everything! It's our 28th anniversary and Marty sent us home with a complimentary dessert. This place speaks for itself! We're gonna be regulars! Something as simple as their side salad was AMAZING! I had to order a to-go! Thank you for this wonderful experience!!

Yelp
Agave social pits a nice twist on traditional Mexican. There a a variety of types of dishes with oriental and American flavors. We got the Cobb salad and the sweet bacon bits on top were a perfect addition with the creamy chimichurri dressing. The brisket nachos were also so good and layered so there weren't any bare chips. Would love to try their tacos or brunch. The inside was very cute and we sat in a screened in porch areas with sofas at the table. Very good experience

Yelp
I'm a regular here. I was so annoyed after the manager surved 4 tacos on my shorts. Granted it was an accident but I had to go back home to change ended up missing my move time and had to ended up booking a different time. I guess was not my night.

Yelp
My friend heard that this place opened recently and wanted to go check it out. It was a bit of a drive from South Tampa, but I did it anyways. We went for lunch, and I was pleased to find they had a great lunch special: 3 tacos and chips and salsa for $12. They had 6 tacos to choose from that all sounded amazing. I got a normal chicken one, plaintain chicken one, and BBQ pork one. They are a bit tiny, but filled with lots of ingredients. The server was super nice and friendly. It was pretty busy for a Wednesday afternoon. They have a nice outdoor and indoor seating with a relaxed atmosphere. I do wish it was a bit closer to me, but otherwise, I definitely recommend it to those looking for Mexican in the area!

Yelp
I have now been here twice. Excellent service from the front check in to the servers. We even had a visit from the manager and she was great. She was checking in due to the small extended wait for our meals. I love taco Tuesday! Excellent speciality margaritas. We all had margarita flights. The pork nacho appetizer is a must! It's a bit loud is my only complaint. But that won't keep us from returning.
