The wait was so worth it. We reserved a couple months ago for my wife's birthday celebration and will 100% be back. The staff was incredible and the stories behind the drinks were so fun. They treated us so well and we can't recommend the drinks enough. They far exceeded our expectation.

Agency Cocktail Bar is a true gem in Milwaukee, and our recent visit on July 30th for the launch of their new chapter was one for the books! The creativity here is unmatched. The new cocktail menu is a deep-sea adventure, with drinks inspired by the ocean, and it’s executed flawlessly. My wife and I loved the concept. I ordered the Sea Witch, their fantastic version of a Zombie, and it was a perfectly balanced and potent drink. My wife, who doesn't drink, was thrilled with the option to have a custom NA cocktail that was just as complex and delicious. We also devoured the couscous and dessert nachos, both of which were absolutely outstanding. The mango boba pearls in the dessert nachos were a brilliant touch! The owners clearly have a passion for hospitality, which also shines through at their coffee joint, discourse. We've been there twice in one day and even sought out their popup in Chicago just for a Channel Orange—it's a definite favorite. The staff at both establishments are excellent and friendly. Agency is a can’t-miss spot, and we can't wait to return on our next trip to Milwaukee.

I had an incredible experience at this agency! The staff, including Nova, Kyle, and Sam, worked together seamlessly to create a wonderful atmosphere. We opted for the full tasting for two, and let me tell you, it was out of this world! Every detail was thoughtfully curated, making it truly special. If you're looking for an individualized, one-of-a-kind experience in Milwaukee, I highly recommend this place! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Went with my husband for a date night and it was amazing. The staff were amazing, drinks were 1000/10 the place is so cute and the seats were so comfortable, we had a great time. I’m already recommending it to my friends.

Amazing. We love Discourse, so makes sense they would do creative and unique cocktails. We did the Dealer’s Choice and I was very happy with what I got. Everything else we had was delicious and complex and just done well.

We went to Agency for a special occasion and did the tasting menu for 2. It was worth every cent. The staff immerse and entertain you in stories and history of cocktails throughout each flight. We never felt rushed and stayed for roughly 2 hours. Just a fun laid back experience with a great vibe. We will be back.

WE WILL BE BACK!!! My wife and I are at a point in our lives where we are willing to invest in experiences that we'll remember for a long time - and this is one we'll remember forever. The staff is high energy - and they do a great job of setting a tone and the standard from when you get seated. After that - they help guide your journey with craft cocktails. I had a drink that I would have never had elsewhere - and it was AMAZING. After that we got to let the bartender choose the drink based on our preferences, what's awesome about this... It'll never be made again - the bartenders are incredible and pair flavors you'd never think about on your own. We will be back - and we're already thinking about when we can make it there for another long weekend! Thanks for kicking off the evening and helping to make our night one we'll remember forever!

The bartenders were incredible. Super attentive, creative, and friendly. Choose from their list of themed cocktails, or fill out your flavor profile and the bartender will design a perfect drink for you. Great for mocktails as well.

What. A. Place! I stalked the reservation site and was unable to get in before our Saturday dinner plans. We ended up doing a walk-in and were so glad we did! They opened at 5PM so it was great timing and planning for us. We were welcomed so warmly and were sat at one of the bar tables. The menu at the time was space-related, and they were telling a story with their drinks. We opted for the dealer's choice as we thought that would have been more up our alley. The sheet had us fill out alcohol preference, flavor profiles, bubbly/still, creamy/refreshing, etc. We loved our drinks. It was so cozy in that room with all the warm and ambient lighting. Definitely add this to your list to try!

Agency is a pretty unique bar in that they provide each cocktail as a non-alcoholic version with the same flavor profile. From what I hear, it's the first of its kind in the nation. They seem to change up their menu somewhat regularly (I only wrote down one name from the pictures I'm providing on this post, couldn't find the name for the other two). Beyond the menu, they have a "Dealer's Choice" card you can fill out based on spirits you like and flavor profile you're feeling in the moment. A few of the profiles I circled were spicy, smoky, and coffee - thinking they'd pick one or two, they somehow managed to include all 3 and it hit the spot (I could notice easy flavor profile - without it being overwhelming or a bad combination). Try to get a reservation before you go, I have gone once without one and couldn't get a seat that night (grabbed a reservation for the next night instead).

Tried Agency before our dinner reservation. They didn't have any openings online so we showed up at 4PM when they opened and easily found a table. They were in between menus so a few things were out but we were still able to order the cocktails we wanted. I tried a Bee's mentality and loved it! Usually it comes with the honeycomb chocolate but didn't since the menu was changing. Floral and light. Great option if you like gin. My sister liked the Saturn more. The passion fruit was great and had a pistachio after taste. The inside is beautiful and moody. A smaller space but a nice mix of bar stools, couches and high tops. There is also a back room for ~15 people that can be rented for private events.

Absolutely obsessed with this place. They have a tasting menu or a la carte themed cocktail menu or a dealer's choice! We came later in the night and got dealer's choices. They give you a menu where you can pick flavor profiles and the bartenders create the most incredible drinks for $16. I LOVED mine (got one where I asked for Cherry Garcia Ben and Jerry's ice cream flavor, and another where I asked for a passion fruit sour). It's super cute and cozy inside. I am taking every visitor that comes by over to here!!

Hands down one of the best cocktail bars in the city! I've visited both locations and both were amazing - however their new location within the Dubbel is perfect and feels like Agency's home (decor and ambience). Kat and team have truly created something special for craft cocktail lovers and newbies alike! Their classic, experimental and even dealer's choice cocktails are amazing and can be enjoyed spirited and NA. So excited for all that they have to offer the city's nightlife!

I have been really wanting to try this new cocktail spot. On the reservation app they say reservations are recommended but not required. When I looked for a reservation on a Friday, there were none available. So we took our chances and arrived when they opened right at 5 PM and were told that Reservations were REQUIRED on a Friday and Saturday. This is not stated anywhere on their website, reservation site, or Instagram. I really hope they update this to reflect what they tell patrons who want to walk in. Hope to update my rating if we are able to get in.

Review is based only on drinks. For this primarily beer/wine drinker, this was an interesting experience. So glad I tried a cocktail! Such attention to detail - even down to the beer stamped on the giant icecube. Every sip was remarkable. Really. The ambiance makes me think of the roaring 1920s or what I imagine it had been like. Should have worn a flapper dress! This place is for adventurous people that appreciate experimentation. If you only ever drink the same thing, maybe just stick with your favorite bar.

Still great! New menu with great new flavors. Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Music and vibe is always on point.

This was a nice cocktail lounge. The ambiance, service and drinks were good. The main complaint is it takes at least 20min to get a drink.

Top tier service, beautiful setting. Overall drinks and accompaniments a bit too sweet for me. Loved the Dominicana drink. Great energy.

Love the service everybody is so kind and helpful with picking your drinks. Drinks are very tasty also can't wait to go back.

10/10 service and atmosphere. Where they lose the 5 star rating for me was the sweetness of the drinks. We did the tasting menu which had some amazing drinks and one of a kind experiences. However all of the drinks and even most of the food had a sweet aspect. For a mainly whiskey or red wine drinker it was too much. I found myself praying for a pallet cleanser so I could appreciate all the flavors of the drink. I think with some tweaking it could be amazing.
