AGFC J.B. and Johnelle Hunt Family Ozark Highlands Nature Center

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Wonderful Experience at the Ozark Highlands Nature Center I had an amazing time visiting the AGFC J.B. and Johnelle Hunt Family Ozark Highlands Nature Center. The entire place was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, well‑designed, and full of things to explore. Even though the archery center wasn’t open during my visit, it didn’t take away from the experience at all. I’m already looking forward to going back when it is. This is a perfect spot for kids to learn about nature in a hands‑on, engaging way. The exhibits, trails, and interactive displays make it fun for all ages. Highly recommend for families, nature lovers, or anyone wanting a relaxing and educational outing.

We’ve lived in Springdale for 7yrs and last week was our FIRST TIME visiting the nature center. IM SO MAD WE TOOK SO LONG TO CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! I took my kids, my nieces and my nephews. They’re ranging in age from 14-20! And they all had fun! Super cool place, lots to look at and so much to learn! Only bummer part about our visit is that the archery center was closed. But we’ll definitely be back again!

Beautifully designed nature center with free indoor nature museum, an indoor children’s play area as well as an outdoor nature themed playground. There is a large free outdoor archery range with fun targets, an indoor marksmanship center with Saturday free indoor range access, and an outdoor picnic pavilion with walking trails. Easy access from the Razorback Greenway by bike and I-49 by car.

This is a really awesome space. There is an indoor space that is mostly for kids to play and learn, yet is enjoyable for adults to experience as well. I really enjoyed walking the outdoor trail, as well as the archery area is fantastic. The marksman center was not open during our visit, but hope to check it out again soon.

First time going and I am so mad that I have never been here before. The facility was beautiful and very well maintained. The instructors were fun, professional, and informative. The indoor archery range was amazing. Didn't get to explore all of it but I will definitely be returning.

As much as I want to support the nature preserve and Springdale, AR attractions, 3/4x I have attempted to come to the JB and Hunt Nature Preserve they have been closed during business hours (not updated on Google or on their office voicemail) for “inclement weather”… except, there has never actually been any inclement weather at the time. Which is how I’m able to make it all the way to their doors with toddlers before I know it’s closed. It is very frustrating.

We love the playground here! Lots of climbing & very unique! They have a nature trail as well. My preschooler loves to stop by after school.

This is a really great place! It is nice and spacious and big! It was very peaceful and quiet perfect cold weather FREE activity to do! I do wish there were some more toys in the kids area that would be nice! The one in Barling has like this climbing tower indoors which is nice too!! That would be cool if you could get more toys. But overall it’s a really nice place I’d come back!

Finally I found a place for my kids to practice with the bows they got for Christmas!

An amazing area for all ages. The playground is incredible and our kid loved it. I cannot believe we are so lucky to have this near us.
