I participated in the 39th Chelsea International Fine Art Competition - Collective Exhibition. From the initial guidance and follow-up to the installation, opening reception, and press release, the team provided thoughtful support every step of the way. It was a truly wonderful experience. Exhibiting in Chelsea, New York, is something very special for an artist, and I truly appreciated the care and attention given to each of us throughout this process. (Photo from the reception)

Google
Agora Gallery is such a beautiful art gallery! It was really a dream to be a part of a large international gallery in Chelsea, NYC. The staff has been very professional and the biography, social media posts, and other assistance has been great. The opening reception was welcoming, encouraging, and an overall good experience! I’m hoping to sell a few pieces through the gallery and I felt that the in person gallery exhibition would be the best opportunity to be able to do that. This was a great opportunity for exposure and professional development!

I want to personally thank the Agora Gallery for a wonderful evening! The Agora team made me feel welcomed and honored as one of the artists presenting my work. I enjoyed not only meeting the other artists who were present, but also the public. It’s always exciting to meet those who are interested in your work and being able to interact and answer questions! Thank you again for having me back as second time!

As an artist, I participated in group exhibitions. All the staff and curators here are friendly and professional. Many people attended the exhibition's reception and showed a deep interest and affection for the painting. I could see the high standards of New Yorkers in their attitude towards art and artists. I was happy while I was here.

As an artist currently participating in the exhibition, I can confirm that the Agora Gallery is a great place for an artist to be. The staff are personable and professional. They keep you informed and up to date. From my submission to the opening reception it has been an incredible experience. Having visited on other opening receptions I can confirm, they are welcoming, fun and well organized, there were a lot of interested visitors and the overall ambience was perfect. Thank you to all at Agora. I’m proud to be an Agora Artist

Yelp
The Agora Gallery was holding the 6th International Photography Event. The photographs depicted mostly women and seemed rather bleak. I liked Paula Aranoa's Interwoven the best with her three photographs. Liza Saltzman's Broken Psyche 1 was haunting. The pictures were spread out in this large space and Joanna was a pleasure to meet again.

Yelp
Agora Gallery is a contemporary art-focused gallery located on W. 25th Street between 10th & 11th Ave in Manhattan. Agora Gallery has showcased paintings, photographs & sculptures within their various exhibits as well as artist exhibition receptions throughout the years. Favorites viewed at Agora's Gallery include the following: - Artist GLIL's works that have included creations honoring David Bowie & Bruce Lee. - Katja Yoon's "Tempting Destiny" & "Freedom". - Amber Warren's "After," "Wave," & "Flame." - Svetlana Nelson's "The Mood" (Part 1). - Olivia O'Keefe's "Refresh," "Plunge," & "Breaking Free". Yelp
Went to Agora today after Noon (12:15pm) to look for a piece or two of artwork and they were closed. Not sure why. Tried to phone them but no answer. Asked the gallery next door but they didn't know why either.

Yelp
This gallery is home to some wonderous art work. Amazing artists display in this gallery and we are lucky that the floors house multiple galleries that vary from medium to genre. This is a great spot to enjoy great and diverse art at its finest and easy accessibility.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the art in this gallery. All of it. And I'm not all that into art. You have to come by and check out the Lego art: http://www.brickartist.com/

Yelp
I liked the contemporary artists. I really enjoyed the artworks here along with other little galleries on the same street. There's always different exhibitions every month. I'd go back again to see new ones :) It's all very interesting.

Yelp
I would like to use this opportunity to express my sincere and heartfelt gratitude to the directors of the Agora Gallery for their tireless encouragement and cooperation during the exhibition time. Agora Gallery's efforts in providing the opportunity for contemporary artists to display their work is with no doubt outstanding, and they have made me personally feel like a member of their family!

Yelp
Hop off the Highline and into this super diverse Chelsea Gallery for some culture and art. This gallery is great for browsing or buying! The front desk staff are very accommodating and helpful. You can just go browse and leave without feeling like you're intruding. The other great part? There are printouts with prices for all pieces at the front desk. You can see what high quality art is going for in NYC, and maybe save up for a fun piece!

Yelp
Very nice galery not far from the high line. I particularly liked the description of every artist and a short comment on there work. The only pity was the staff, not welcoming and even if there is no one else they won't take time to present you the point of the exhibit and a bit of information on the galery

Yelp
Before May 30th, you all owe it to yourselves to get over to Agora! It's their plethora of coinciding collective exhibitions...... "Unchartered Realism," "Abstract Concepts," "Out From Down Under and Beyond (Australian and New Zealand artists)," and "Collective Exhibition." I don't even know if I blurbed that all out correctly, but case in point: lot of good fine arts in one lovely location. Great variety in within the show, so I'm confident their's something for everyone. Personally I was digging Renate B. Hofer's and Agnieszka Opala's paintings. www.agora-gallery.com Tues-Sat 11-6:00.

Yelp
Agora gallery offered me the opportunity to have an exposition in their beautiful gallery some years ago. Unfortunately at the time i was unable to due to distance. But i am now replying and hope soon my beautiful abstract art will be hanging on their walls. Such a beautiful gallery and a wonderful family.

Yelp
Hier kann man wirklich die Zeit vergessen.. Agora Gallery ist eine sehr außergewöhnliche Gallerie in Chelsea mit ständig wechselnden Ausstellungen..nicht nur für ausgesprochene Kunstfreaks ansprechend.

Yelp
This is an amazing gallery. I collect art from all over the world, and this art gallery blew my mind. I had to get a wonderful piece for my home in San Francisco. This gallery displays various artists who work with different media. There is diverse and fine art to be found here. Please, if you find yourself in the area, visit this amazing gallery.

Yelp
In a cluttered art gallery area of Manhattan, the Agora stands out as an affordable gallery to buy amazing artwork from emerging artist based all around the world. My first trip to the gallery was for an philanthropic event. During that initial visit, I was more impressed with the artwork on display moreso than what was happening at the event. Later in the week, I made another visit to focus on the artist expressions on display throughout the medium-size gallery space. After about two hours of taking in all of the beautiful art, I spent another hour trying to decide between a couple of one-of-a-kind piece. Unfortunately for my bank account, I had to get both! If you are looking for beautiful art that will not weigh down your pocket, I highly recommend taking a stroll through the Agora gallery. The representatives are always close by for any questions, and the venue is also great to host elegant events.

Yelp
Wandered into this gallery by accident but really enjoyed the visit - the space is a particularly nice one and the art on display was varied and well placed. The staff were really friendly - not the case in all Chelsea galleries - and happy to share information about the artists without stepping over the line and becoming pushy. I understand that they change exhibitions every three weeks or so, but the photography one we saw was excellent.

Yelp
I went to this gallery to see Aelita Andre's works because I've been following that lil' prodigy on the internet this summer and am a fan, so I wanted to see her works. It was my first time going into a gallery in NYC and it was interesting. I enjoyed the exhibit and love Aelita's paintings. But nobody working in the gallery bothered to look up from their desks and say hello to us, whats up with that? I had to stare at them for a good 30 seconds before they looked up and muttered "hi." Is that like a typical NY art gallery thing? Rude. Also, the door to the gallery that was labeled with their name was locked and it took us about 15 minutes to get in touch with someone there over the phone to be told that to enter their gallery you have to go in a sketchy unmarked door two doors down and get in an elevator. Also, there was a sign on their locked door advertising complimentary spritzers, which did not exist.
