The Best Minnesota State Fair Foods, According to a Local Expert | Eater Twin Cities

"For a healthy, affordable treat I head to the Agriculture Horticulture Building's west wing and grab a frozen cider pop from the Minnesota Apple stand — tart, refreshing, and one of the fair's best bargains on a hot day." - Alex Lodner

A must walk-yhrough when at the Minesota Staate Fair. One of my favorite spots within the Horticulture Building is the common Table. Their exhibit is always interactive. It's definitely a great spot to bring kids.

Something I never experienced until I visited Minnesota. So many people, foods, services, and amusement rides. I was like a kid in a candy store. EVERYTHING ON A STICK!!! deep fried Oreos, bacon, hotdog, fish, alligator. You name it and it was in a stick. Love the fact that they have access to farm animals for kids to see and learn about. The miracle of birth building was cool. Lucky people get to see pigs and cows give birth. It’s so cool that I told my fiends about it and they took a trip out from New York to visit the fair.

One of my favorite places and is pretty much the epicenter of the Minnesota State Fair. So much to see and do, grab a flight of beer and take a look around, when you're done the Skyride is conveniently right outside to take you back to the buses at the end of the night.

This was our third trip to this state fair, traveling from California. Our cousin lives here and introduced us to the fair. The food is always interesting and good. The exhibits are fascinating and unique. I especially liked the International Bazaar, the cow going through labor pains and the chickens hatching out of their eggs. For the food I liked the following - Root beer, little donuts, chocolate chip cookies, onion rings and the ice cold milk (all you could drink) for $2.00. Also the further you park from the entrance ($30) the less it will ($10).
