Waterfront Dining Guide: Don’t Just Pay for the View | Eater DC

"Modern Mexican munchies, margaritas and a marine view? Yes, please. Located next to Osteria Morini in The Yards, the menu involves many different types of guacamoles, ceviches, empanadas, tacos, and other “bocaditos” (small bites), but also offers plenty of full-sized entrees if “shared plates” aren’t in the cards. Happy hour does not disappoint with over 50 tequilas and mezcals, signature cocktails, and of course, house-made margaritas." - Julekha Dash

Google
2.5 stars. Very middle of the road average food. Stopped by for a quick working lunch, had the 3pc tacos. When it came out the tacos looked great! But that's where it stops, the taco with beef and blue cheese was actually good. The mango shrimp was ok, nothing special. And the pork belly was terrible, the meat was very tough and not tasty, it tasted as if was reheated in a microwave. Beans did not taste good, and the rice was dry and nothing special. When finished and asking for the check we had to wait for over 10 minutes with no server in sight. A very generous 20% is automatically applied to your bill "to increase the wages of our tipped employees to above the minimum wage in DC" (that's from the menu) regardless of the level of service provided. Sadly this place will not be on my list of regular spots in DC.

Google
Always a great time here I come often. I recommend the tacos, yuca, paella, queso with ground beef added, guacamole, and enchiladas! The margaritas are always great. Easy to come in without a reservation. Good service speed. Lovely to eat by the water.

Google
Cute little spot with a nice view! I came in towards the end of my group’s meal but still got to try some food/drinks. The pineapple mezcal smash I had to exchange for something else. It was way too strong and needed a lot more non-liquor ingredients. After that I tried the blackberry caipirinha, which was better, but still very strong. I tried a sip of the mango margarita and thought it was pretty good, I wish I’d ordered a full one. 6/10 on the drinks. The food I had was pretty good! I had a few shrimp tacos and the ceviche de pescado blanco. The ceviche was very flavorful and I’d certainly order it again. For the location I thought the prices were cheaper than expected, and they partner with the inKind app which is always a plus. Overall I’d return, probably try some new drinks and sample additional food items + repeat the ceviche. They also have a decent happy hour if you want to sample without paying full price.

My 5 started goes to all why because I felt welcomed, I felt like I was in my own community, thanks to : ANYA for her service, and keep the good work, my dear. Without forgetting the other waiters' specialty, the one with Afro hair. You guys were awesome to us. I love, love the food. As an Africa, chef is not easy for me to rate the dishes, but this one gives the expression to be in my own restaurant. You can see I finished it all😊🫠

Google
I had the most incredible brunch experience at this place 3 weeks ago. I had made my reservation, so I was seated as soon as I walked in. Sandra, my server was fantastic!! Everything she recommended was delicious: the guacamole, the yuca frita, the cochinita pibil taco, the bbq pork taco and the tres leches too! Plus, they have bottomless margaritas!! I seriously couldn’t have asked for a better brunch experience. I’ll definitely visit again the next time I’m in DC!

I dropped by today for a late lunch and everyone was super friendly from one of the staff out front to the bartenders. They have great happy hour specials including $3 tacos. It's a great spot and vibe!

Google
This was an Uber Eats order therefore I was unable to rate the service/atmosphere. The chicken empanadas were good and I would order again. The ceviche was decent but I have been on the search for one in the DC area packet with flavor and quality ingredients as I opt out to any ceviche made with tilapia. I called in and confirmed that there fish for that day was mahi mahi. The star of the order was the Caesar salad as it was packed with flavor. The grilling on the wedge gives nice flavor and presentation but will give the award to the fresh anchovies. They really made the salad stand out and added amazing flavor. Soon, I will visit this location in person and provide an update to the service/atmosphere.

Yelp
Checked out this taco spot after a Nationals game to let the traffic die down. The chips and guac were solid, but the tacos were great! While not the most authentic, they had a wide selection of tacos to choose from. My personal favorites were the Baja Fish Tacos that had a great beer batter outer layer. Nice spot that's by the water for some food after a game. Apps: Chips and Guac Entrees: Baja Fish, Mango Shrimp, and Bistec Azul (steak) Tacos Sides: Rice and Black Beans Drinks: Frozen Mango Margarita

Yelp
I came to Agua 301 after a boat outing with friends at the DC warf. We were a group of about 10 so I wasn't sure whether we were going to get seating. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted at the door. The ambience was casual and the noise level was on the moderate to loud side. The service was great, especially given our large group. Mango Shrimp Taco: 8.5/10. The salsa that they put on top of the shrimp was good. But the shrimp itself lacked flavor. Baja Fish Taco: 9/10. This taco was overall good. However, they didn't put enough of the salsa on it. Pork Belly Al Pastor Taco: 9/10. The Al Pastor was seasoned well but it was a bit overcooked. Classic Margarita: 10/10

Yelp
This place has great options for happy hour which includes shareable bites and alcohol drinks. It runs Monday thru Friday from 3:30 to 6:30pm I ordered: - chips and guac: pretty standard but who can say no to chips and guac? -Barbacoa and Baja fish tacos: the barabacoa was the better choice. Meat was tender and flavorful. I did not enjoy the fish tacos as much. I think the batter on the fish was quite thick. -Chicken wings: also pretty standard -Beef empanadas: Very good. Beef was tender and flavorful. Coconut shrimp: Tasted very bland. Needs more seasoning. I did not taste a hint of coconut on the batter. -Mango margaritas: It is worth it to come for the margaritas. Might be the highlight of the meal. Enjoyed the Summer evening sipping on a marg with views of the wharf. Service was great. Our waiter was friendly and attentive.

Yelp
Upon arriving at the restaurant, we found no host or hostess to assist us in getting seated, so we took it upon ourselves to sit at the bar. Despite this, the service we received was prompt and efficient. The food we ordered was exceptional, and we plan to return to the establishment in the future. However, there were a couple of issues that need to be addressed. Firstly, the bar area requires a thorough cleaning to ensure that it meets the standards expected by guests. Secondly, the bartender was observed sneezing into his hand when dealing with customers, which is not a hygienic practice and could potentially lead to the spread of germs. This behavior should be corrected as soon as possible to ensure the safety and well-being of all patrons.

Yelp
I've been here a few times. Overall, it's not the best food everrr but it's good if you're in the area & craving Mexican cuisine. The most recent time I went was during lunch, which actually wasn't that busy. But the food/service was a little slow even sitting at the bar (though I think the bartender also unfortunately had tables on the patio too). I got the fish tacos, the salmon tacos, & the shrimp tacos. The fish was the best..the salmon was probably my least favorite. I was annoyed because I accidentally left my to go box on the counter, came back 2 minutes later & that was the first thing that was thrown away during clean up while our cups/other items were still there?! So I didn't get to even try the plantains that are in my photo. Overall, it's a cute spot with plenty of outdoor seating right near the water. But don't expect too much lol

Yelp
We lived here five years ago and loved this place and just moved back, so it was our first stop! It is just as good as we remember! Drinks were great, food was great, service was the best. They have an awesome food and drink happy hour 3:30 - 6:30 Monday through Thursday. No doubt we'll be regulars again.

Yelp
This was my second time visiting Agua 301. The first time I didn't leave a review, as I just went to have drinks and sat outside to enjoy the view and heated patio. This time around, I was looking forward to exploring the menu and enjoying the food. I got there around happy hour time, and decided to sit outside to enjoy the weather, but I immediately had to come inside as the table that I was seated at didn't have an umbrella and all of the leaves and buds were littering the table. Eventually, I was seated inside and was told that a waiter would be assigned to my table. She never came. Luckily, one staff member did manage to take appetizer and drink orders, but I eventually had to go up and ask the manager for a server as it was about 20 mins after the drinks and appetizers arrived before I was able to place my main order. Nonetheless, the food arrived and everything was pretty good. The favorite was the guacamole and the cilantro lime rice. The paella and tacos were pretty good too. All and all, my time here was okay. There's an automatic 22% tip charged to your bill, and the manager removed it so that I can add a custom tip as he knew that the service wasn't up to par. With an added emphasis on service, I believe this is easily a "4 star" place. I'll be monitoring the reviews to see if they improved and that area, and I'll gladly come back to check out this place again.

Yelp
Nothing has ever stood out for me with the food. Not much flavor to the beans or rice. The fish tacos are a pass for me due to the soggy, thick batter. The shrimp salad is very hearty. They do offer decent deals for happy hour and brunch drinks. Mango margaritas are my go to. The servers are always helpful and it's a great location off of the water in the Navy Yard.

Yelp
Great location by the water! The service was good a little old smelling in the inside lol that's the only way I can describe it. The food was okay I expected more but that's fine. I enjoyed the nachos the most! The elote wasn't good at all surprisingly but the salsa and guacamole were enjoyable. The drinks were good and the service was fast!

Yelp
Food was okay, service was slow and mediocre. Drinks were good. We were seated outside (it was in the high 40F-ish temps) and our table was pretty cold. Asked to turn on the provided heater, we were informed that our table's heater did not work because they ran out of propane. We requested moving to another table when it became available. We were told no. Menu is expensive for the quality of the food served. We went so we could see the Cherry blossom festival fireworks (which were the best part of the otherwise bad experience) Would not recommend, will not return.

Yelp
My sister and I decided to meet here after work for happy hour for TAAAAACCCCOOOOO Tuesday! We sat in the bar area at one of the high top tables. Even though the space was pretty empty, it took a while for someone to come to our table to greet us. They have seating inside, outside, and of course at the bar. Tacos were 2 for $7, mix and match, plus other specials on their happy hour menu. I ordered the chicken empanadas and the fish and chicken tacos. The tacos were pretty forgettable, but the empanadas were pretty delish. I also ordered the watermelon Fresca. It was cool, nothing to write home about. All and all, the experience was okay. Could I come back, perhaps, but I wouldn't rush back. Nothing I ate or drank seemed to really WOW me! Decent place to stop-by, I guess.

Yelp
This place gets points as it's on the water and they have intimate fire pits for the outdoor seating. The wings were delectable. The Ceasar salad was charred but not as delicious as I imagined it to be. My friend got coconut shrimp. Unfortunately, they had no sauce or sweet sauce that would normally accompany coconut shrimp. She also got the wings! Yummy the service was good but slow AF! It took 30 mins to get a Ceasar salad and wings, 20 minutes to get our drinks (which weren't brought out at the same time- so 20 mins for my friend's drink and an additional 10 mins for mins), and there weren't that many people there. I would likely only return if I needed something quick and easy on the water... but I'm a restaurant explorer and there are lots of other remarkable places I want to try. This isn't one of those staple places for me.

Yelp
Great again. Prices slightly went up and have a service fee but good happy hour deal. I got the flautas and they were not bad. Best happy hour place in Navy yard.

Yelp
We went here on a Friday night after the live concert series in Yards Park. I've been here before but mostly for tacos, drinks, and nachos. Which are all decent , the navies being the stellar of the bunch. This time we tried some items that we had not had before. The vibe is fun, it's busy, modern Mexican look, and staff are mostly friendly. This time we ordered some items we had not had before. The waiter was good about giving recommendations but service was not good. We didn't get the complementary chips and salsa until we asked at least 2 different times. The waiter was apologetic. All the food came out at once. Actually the entree came out before the appetizer. The flavors are unique and different and I normally enjoy mole sauce. But they put way too much mole sauce on the enchiladas; it was sweet and overbearing. Not much of a filing inside the enchiladas and the late was a little too small; our rice was falling off the plate. Fries were not so great. Black Bean Cheese dip comes with a side of soft tortillas. It was hard to eat with chips and didn't enjoy it the way I had hoped. Our waiter meant well, but he disappeared often and would not check in. This trip left much yo be desired.

Yelp
Down by the water in Navy Yard, this Mexican restaurant has a fun, lively atmosphere. There is always a crowd yet always a seat. It has a fun wrap-around outdoor patio that's always full in the summer. The margaritas are delicious and always hit the spot. The classic margarita is my favorite here. The food is very good. I would say the Ceviche Mixto wasn't the classic ceviche I was expecting but the red sauce was tasty.

Yelp
The food was nice service was great. I have been wanting to come to the resturant for awhile and maybe it's t just the option I had wasn't the best option but it was blah nothing I would try again the portions for some meals are a bit small but everyone else at the table loveeddd their order.

Yelp
Happy Hour Review! I really like this place, from the location to the casual setting. The service was good and our server was very nice. I ordered two margaritas (frozen) and the pork bbq tacos from the happy hour menu. The tacos were delicious and the frozen drinks were a little sweet, but GOOD. I only had two and y'all wouldn't believe it..... I had a little buzz lol I would definitely say they drinks get the job done. I would definitely come back. My friend also had the wings on the happy hour menu and she said they were good.
google avatar

Yelp
You won't believe how incredible this place is! The breathtaking views will leave you in awe, and the food is so delicious, you'll be planning your next trip here before you even finish your meal. And the service? Let me tell you, it's absolutely top-notch. If you're planning a trip to DC near the Navy Yard, you simply have to check out this amazing spot - I promise, you won't regret it!

Yelp
Food is great, and even the location is so beautiful by the water! You can't go wrong with any of the dishes here, but given how busy they tend to be, it may be a bit of a wait to order/get your food, but definitely still worth it! The waiters are nice and as efficient as possible and very friendly too. I'd definitely go back again - solid brunch spot and definitely make a resy in advance if possible

Yelp
Had the nachos and they were great. Good service and environment as well. Highly recommend!! Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
I went here recently for a weeknight event and really liked their chicken tacos and beef tacos. I also loved the heat of their salsa-it is very high without overwhelming the taco flavors.
google avatar

Clare O.

Yelp
Agua enchiladas fuel my life. They are seriously so flavorful and amazing. We got the enchiladas, margarita, and tacos. The tacos were just okay, the meat was fatty in some spots and just didn't have as much flavor as the enchiladas. The margarita was a good portion. 10/10 always for the enchiladas (pics don't do it justice)

Yelp
A tasty Navy Yard restaurant only a few minutes walking from the Metro Stop. A friend and I came here on a Friday evening, and we were one of maybe only five full tables in the space. We liked the food for the most part! The paella had delicious large pieces of succulent crab. The Baja fish taco was crunchy and had a wonderful slaw. The barbacoa taco was good but nothing special. The queso fundido had great flavor but congealed so quickly that it almost just became a block of cheese. We ended with some tasty churros! It was a nice way to close the meal. Our server was very attentive--almost too attentive since the restaurant was nearly empty.
google avatar

Elvin M.

Yelp
Visited last night and wasn't impressed with the service or the food. We sat outside and we had a nice view of the river. But service was slow it was no fault of our server I believe they just did not have enough staff. The food was ok the guacamole wasn't fresh. The baja tacos i ordered had too much sauce on them and the shells were dry. And them we saw a river rat walk right in front of us and proceeded towards the other side of the patio area. Overall not a great experience.

Yelp
*MOUSE RAN RIGHT DOWN THE BAR TOWARDS ME AND I WAS ESCORTED OUT BY MANAGEMENT FOR SCREAMING TOO LOUD! The fact that I even patronized this place is beyond me. 6 months ago, my husband and I ordered some nachos (while at the bar) and a roach crawled out of our food! So I asked a dumb question to the bartender..... "Does this restaurant have roaches?". She immediately said "yes and BAD but all of the restaurants down here have them!". Now while that may be true, I've never seen one EVER IN LIFE, crawl off my plate! So we kept patronizing the restaurant because the manager was extremely apologetic and would give us extreme discounts on our checks and it didn't happen again. A few months later, one of the employees overfeeds my dog treats without asking and my dog got sick and vomited everywhere! I took pictures and called the owner. His response was "Your dog couldn't have gotten sick because our treats are organic!". After some talk, he said he would offer us a free meal. We already get "free meals" there. I wanted him to pay for a vet visit but he refused. We didn't want to sure or write any bad reviews because of the relationship we had with the manager and bartenders. Now 2 days ago, we're at the bar. It's 9:08 pm. What do I see? As we're sitting at the bar, A MOUSE RUNS ACROSS THE BAR COMING OUR WAY! I'm extremely afraid of mice so I scream LOUDLY! The mouse runs back where he came from and behind the bar! Instead of checking on me, I'm ushered out as if I WAS the problem. I reached out to the restaurant to see if they addressed the issue. Instead of asking if I was ok, the manager says "Were you bit by the mouse? It's mice all down here!". My concerns were just dismissed! He proceeded to ask me what was I looking for? As if I was looking for special compensation! We already eat and drink mostly for FREE at this restaurant so what else WOULD I BE LOOKING FOR? I was calling to see what measures should be taken before I called the health department! It was disgusting to see and I had never seen anything like this in all my life and employees that are just that comfortable with it! I can't get over how rudely I was treated for seeing a nasty mouse run across the bar while lights are on and butts are in the seats. We had just paid our bill all of $5 for 4 drinks and 4 shots of tequila so why would we want to mess THAT UP? At this point, we won't be patronizing this place because of how we were treated as if the only reason I was complaining about the infestation (that the BARTENDER told us was going on) was so we could get compensation. We were ALREADY getting compensated. I just wanted to know if the establishment gave a hoot! Clearly they don't!

Yelp
Had met with friends for their brunch here and we were running behind. Were helpful in getting us seated and since we were with a dog, they made sure to get the heaters set up and got us a table with the fire pit. Nice views of the water and bridge.

Yelp
The food is sub par here. This is the second time I've came here, and it hasn't gotten any better. If anything my second time here was far worse. The tacos are mediocre at best. Theres not a lot of flavor in the meat options or the toppings and sauce just don't go well together. If you order tacos, stick with to the fish options, they're usually a safe bet. The margarita we had were also horrible. I was honestly so disappointed. We ordered the spicy watermelon margarita and prickly pear margarita. Both were horrendous. If it weren't for the red pepper flakes in the watermelon drink, you honestly wouldn't be able to tell which drink was which just by tasting it. The spicy watermelon was not spicy, and it just tasted like syrup with too much sour mix. The prickly pear had no taste at all, it was like I was drinking mezcal straight. The service was also terrible. I came with a group on Thursday evening and the server, Ria, was very rude. She didn't really want to serve us so the manager was the one that ended up helping us most of the time. Ria refused to make eye contact so we couldn't get her attention even when it came to paying. One of my friends had to flag down another server to close their bill. All in all, I don't plan on returning here. It's not worth the time, money, or hassle.

Yelp
Nathaniel or Nafhaniel was super friendly & patient with us during restaurant week DC 1/16-22 2023! Food was great and that Cuban empanada was refreshingly good with the chipotle sauce & salsa! My colleagués shrimp chipotle was excellent and the heat was spot on, not too much but just enough to wake up your taste buds! Nathan informed me the Cuban empanada was new on the menu and it was excellent, taste wise and texture exceeded my expectation. This is not your authentic style; rather, it's their modern take on everything Mexican yet every dish was solid and of good quality ingredients! Service was excellent as was the ambience! Place had ample seating from the bar to windows and booths seatings! I'd definitely come back for Hhr with colleagues & friends!

Yelp
there is no sexier combination than margs and chips with salsa ... okay fine margs complimentary fresh hot chips from agua 301 - I would like to thank our waitress are having no problems at refilling the chip basket like three times - I ordered the regular margarita and my friend got the lime frozen one, the frozen ones are literally the same price and it's 10 times tastier like why would you not do that? they also have a swirl option if you're indecisive - outdoor seating was amaze, I would not sit inside especially with the view of the little waterfall pool w children drowning in it - split the barbacoa beef tacos! edible for sure but not something I'd come back for, def more of an appetizer and drink place - drinks came out way after food tho which was slightly offputting but maybe it was a statement ab society or something

Yelp
We went here with some friends for brunch last Sunday around 1130. It was absolutely dead which wasn't a problem. We did unlimited mimosas and margaritas which was very well priced. Spicy margs weren't spicy and the mimosas were orange juice heavy. In total it came about to roughly $45 a person which is hard to find these days. Our waiter Rodrigo was absolutely attentive and kept the drinks truly bottomless. I would recommend this as a nice waterfront brunch option.

Yelp
I'm back with another review...this time, let's sail on over to Agua 301 at Navy Yard... First, when we walked in, it took a few minutes until someone came to the front to seat us. While walking through the restaurant, I noticed that the area was well decorated and it honestly gave me an at home vibes. The kind of vibes that you get while visiting a home in California, sitting in the kitchen area, enjoying a meal...that's what I felt when I walked in. Next, our waitress was really sweet but lacked knowledge on a few of the items, therefore making it hard to know what a selection contained. Nonetheless, she did her best to accommodate us but I wasn't sure if maybe she was fairly new. Drinks, none to report, I didn't drink but the others dining with me said that the frozen drinks were amazing. Food, eh! I'm disappointed at the lack of flavor from everything such as the mango shrimp tacos, the black beans and rice. Nothing contained seasoning, not even salt!!! I have to admit that I struggled to get through the meal by putting salt and pepper and mixing it up nicely. The tacos were soggy, the shrimp looked like it was cut in half and the mango salsa did nothing for the meal. The black beans, ugh, so sadden by the lack of flavor and the terrible taste it left in my mouth. The rice, this wasn't regular white rice but instead a rice mixture which was not worth the bite. The meal cost $11 plus tax but it should have been free-given that I added flavor to it. Would I return again? Only to enjoy frozen drinks but that's where I stop...

Yelp
Great outdoor patio! The food was pretty good. I liked the chicken tacos with rice and black beans. The fajitas were also very good, but one guest wasn't a fan of the nachos. However, there was a lot of confusion around pricing. We were charged full price for happy hour drinks (quickly fixed by the server) and they didn't explain that a modification on the kind of meat for the nachos cost more money (an upcharge for chicken instead of beef). Seems like they need to better delineate what counts as happy hour and what doesn't -- for the servers and the customers. They also attempted to upcharge at least 5 or 6 times without clarifying it was more money until we specifically asked -- seemed like it was a requirement from management kind of thing, but got a bit frustrating after a while.

Yelp
The food was great. We had flautas, fajitas, and tacos. The chicken was tender and moist in the right way. Service was spot on. No wait for a table and the entire staff were helpful to each other.

Yelp
Location Navy yard water front Atmosphere Casual, restaurant and bar Service The absolute best! Food and beverage We had the chips n salsa n margaritas. Fresh better than frozen. The chips are thicker rather than thin- good salsa. The taco happy hour menu is AWESOME-the tacos can hardly hold the contents. Fyi-it's two each- no one of each. Fish is battered. The pork n pineapples is too much for the taco but yummy. Summary Family owned Mexican restaurant- great view, location, service. Recommended with reason- we LOVE this place!! Ask for Rhea-AMAZING!!

Yelp
Sat outside for a quick Thursday date night. Spent $130: $70 for a margarita pitcher, shared fajitas and chips/guac, plus tip (that is already included when you get the bill). Fajitas were good, fresh ingredients and meat was cooked and seasoned well. But the margaritas were probably the worst margaritas we've ever had. The fact that bad drinks were 70% of the bill was pretty disappointing.

Yelp
First time dining here. Had a reservation for 4 and 6:15 and we were seated almost immediately. We were on the clock bc we were attending the Elton John Concert. We were given our drinks immediately, and the order for food went in quickly, but we did wait sometime for the food, and for the waitress to come and check on us for drink refills. I enjoyed a prickly pear margarita, a bit strong, but over made well. The others has regular margaritas. Two had the assortment of 3 tacos. Both agreed the mango shrimp was the best, but the pork was a bit dry. Enchiladas were enjoyed. I had 2 carne empanadas. Delicious! Only complaint is I wish I could've mixed and matched to try 2 different types. Would definitely eat here again.

Yelp
I'm only giving it a 1-star because the waitress was very nice and the food was decent; otherwise I would give it a 0. The manager on duty Larry was a complete ass. Customer service was terrible! Bad attitude. Rude all around. I won't be returning.

Yelp
Came in for an early dinner with a colleague on a Wednesday. Service is great; friendly, helpful, attentive without being overbearing. We enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa while ordering happy hour drinks- I got a local beer and they got a margarita. We both got the trio of tacos - I appreciate that you can mix and match! I got salmon, pork belly, and mushrooms (hongos). The trio also came with rice and beans. I honestly can't say any of my tacos stood out as the best, they were all amply filled and cooked well. I think if anything, I'd report that I could have had more spice/flavor to my dish. I added the hot sauce offered on the side, but that wasn't right. The rice, surprisingly stuck out to me. It was mixed with cilantro (I assume?). That was unexpected and good. Overall, a fine meal. Will go to a place closer to my home in NW for better tacos for a better price.

Yelp
Raise place is a nice jewelry tucked away on the water front on the SE side of DC. I liked it because of the view of the water and bridge you can walk. The food was nice and so are the employees. I'd recommend this place for lunch and happy hour.

Yelp
Spacious establishment, relaxed atmosphere, pleasant service, very affordable prices, and pretty good food. There were a lot of tables inside and out with a beautiful river view. Chips and salsa were served We ordered: 3*Empanada de Pollo included chicken tinga, peppers, onions, garlic, garnished with pico de gallo: it looked and tasted like samosa. Pretty good. 3.5*Pork Belly al Pastor taco platter included crisp fried pork belly, candied habanero pineapple, and quaiillo pepper al pastor aioli. The pork was crispy, but a little bit dry. It tasted good. I would order it again.

Yelp
Have to seat yourself. food really good. The server absolutely the worst. Could care less. Automatic tip for them what do they care. so slow. Had to ask the buser to refill my water. wasn't really busy either. they just stand around. note to management. Hire better servers. Go to some of the surrounding restaurants, take a seat and see the difference in service. We pay a lot to eat and have a good time. Service will make or break a restaurant. Will not be back.

Yelp
We went for lunch. Definitely better worth it for lunch. The price was reasonable for the area, the service was good and we dined outdoors. They served us house salsa and chips. Salsa was good, not spicy and good for snacking til you get your food. Ordered guacamole and that was good. I had beef flautas, it came with two flautas that were nice and crunchy on the outside and topped generously. My partner had the bistec azul and enjoyed it as well. It came with two tacos and beans and used blue cheese. Lunch prices were fair for the portions.

Yelp
I decided to come here for a quick happy hour drink before going to another event in the area. The bar was pretty empty so I grabbed a seat there. I ordered the sangria and it came with Nachos and their house salsa. The chips were hot and fresh and the sangria was refreshing.
