Águila Pabellón

"This white Art Nouveau-style property, which dates from 1905 and has been carefully restored, reopened its doors in 2023 with great fanfare, adding its honourable name to the city’s food scene. The à la carte will appeal to everyone, featuring recognisable dishes and classic flavours which have been brought up to date through the use of contemporary techniques. The ingredients used are high on quality and the chef is conscious of the benefits of allowing space on the plate for natural flavours to fully express themselves, as witnessed by dishes such as chargrilled squid with a sweet red pepper salsa, confit of chicken with a mushroom cream, and pork loin milanesa. Choose from an array of dining spaces in which the traditional decor respects the building’s heritage and style. The large arch-shaped windows provide lots of natural light as well as views of the Ecoparque, the perfect place to spend a family weekend." - Michelin Inspector

I have been here a few times. My experience has been better at lunch. It’s not expensive and the interior is beautiful. If you come expecting high gastronomy then you’ll be sad. Nice lunch by the park. Man sat directly behind me and had his phone ringer on full volume to get his dopamine from receiving texts. Management should shut that behavior down.

A beautiful place with basic food. 1) Atmosphere is great for meeting of friends or family, or a date. Beautiful building just as on photos. Really nice tables outside. 2) Service is really good. Found a hair in the dish. Happens to the best of restaurants, but how they react is what shows a quality of the place. Waiter immediately apologized, changed dish, deserts were for free for all of us. So it left me with a good impression. 3) Food choice is rather meh. Took gnocchi, tasty, but generic. Portions are huge though.

This place is a jewel, a big one, just in terms of the physical plant. Although we didn´t order much, what we had was spectacular, truly: french fries as if must be made for Heavan, and the waiter LEANDRO was so kind. Very special, plan to go back next week. Thank you, to Nazereno, too, and other staff. All seemed very kind. LOVED IT.

Gorgeous restaurant in the heart of the park. Loved this place and the service was excellent (special shoutout to our server, Nestor). Be sure to stop by for a meal or a quick coffee and snack. Key highlights were the citrus pavlova and the gorgeous bathroom (make sure to make a trip upstairs if seated on the first floor).

We have searched BA for a real Cesar Salad and we found it ! Real deal. Also the gnocchi were very delicious. Really cool place and Mariano the waiter was fenomenal. I will come back to try the rest of the menu.

We had an excellent dinner experience at one of the most beautiful restaurants in Buenos Aires. The building is a historic part of the city and has been beautifully renovated to reflect its glory days. After dinner, Nazareno, the host, gave us a tour of the building, which was an amazing experience. We highly recommend dining at this restaurant, especially during the summer.

What a disappointment. My husband and I went on February 13th for dinner. We ordered a wine didn’t have it, had another one. When we asked what was the fish of the day we were told there is no fish no tofu. (We were told after we asked instead of informing us before bringing the wine. I ordered as appetizer he boniato with seaweed. There was almost no seaweed and the boniato was swimming in melted butter. For second I ordered the tomato risotto which didn’t have taste was rice in a soupy broth, not risotto. Don’t get fooled, this is not a Michelin review restaurant, the food has no taste nor quality ingredients nor caring in the cooking. This place must be removed from any Michelin list.
